Had a cottage booked and with less than a week before received an email from Louise saying ‘unbeknown to them’, the owner had sold the property. Dioni claimed there were no alternative properties available due to the short notice given by the Owner so basically sorry your holiday is cancelled and we will send you a refund!
After several phone calls with Dioni getting nowhere, the owner contacted me directly and explained that Dioni were advised months before that he was selling the property and also advised weeks ago that our booking could not go ahead, and he has the emails to prove it! - so why did they wait until less than a week before to tell me that?!
Absolutely appalled by their attitude! I had booked with them 3 times in the past but certainly won’t be booking with them again!
Personally I feel they failed to keep to their Terms and Conditions so currently taking further advise and seriously considering taking it further,

From the beginning something didn't feel right with this company. After booking I received very little information about what to expect from our stay. I had to email to ask about the cot provided and I received back some copy pasted responses from the owner which were evasive. I was told that the cot mattress was the one that came with the travel cot. Seeing how much we spent on the accommodation, I thought how bad could it be? Unfortunately the cot had a wooden base which I was repeatedly told was the mattress. I spent our entire stay trying to communicate with the owner and Dioni, both were unhelpful and dismissive. I was told that I should have brought my own mattress if I wanted something better. Also it is impossible to get through to Dioni on the phone. I left messages and was told I would get a call back, something that never happened. A stressful experience which you don't expect to have to go through when booking expensive accommodation.

Booked and paid in full for an apartment in Wales. Three weeks before we were due to go received an email saying they were cancelling my reservation. I'd paid for activities and deposits at restaurants and now we can't find anywhere suitable. Very upset children and adults!!!!

We booked a 'luxury' cottage (Dions's description), £900 for a week in September. We were very disappointed to find multiple problems on arrival and shocked by the general condition of the property. The owners were of some help but most problems could not be rectified quickly and related to a longer term neglect and lack of investment in the property. I felt it was overpriced and not what I had been led to expect from the Dioni website. It became apparent that Dioni do not monitor properties and so can not offer any assurance regarding quality. Dioni is based less than three miles from this property to there can be no excuse for not checking standards. I wrote a review which I felt was accurate and balanced, giving the positives and negative of the property. It could have been much more damning eg mentioning the smell of urine on one carpet. The review did appear on Dioni's website briefly but then was removed. I am shocked by this behaviour but it does explain the glowing reviews about this property that led us to book. It seems that Dioni and the information on their website are not to be trusted. I would not recommend them.

Fantastic customer service from Louis, professional and helpful. We originally booked in 2019 for a 2020 stay but due to covid had to postpone till 2021. Louise was helpful in amending. The cottage itself that we stayed at in Llanbedr was beautiful and fantastic hosts. Would highly recommend.

Dioni are a one man band calling themselves a (company) with non-existent customer service, after repeated failed attempts to getting a response regarding booking enquiries we were left extremely dissapointed with the non correspondence. For a so called (company) that depends on holiday cottage bookings in order to earn money. you would expect customer service to be a top priority. However, this is evidently not the case as customer service does not appear to be in their stable....AVOID THESE COWBOYS..
