We went on the Glenfinnan Viaduct Tour from Glasgow and our tour guide Scott was really great! I hope he actually was employed by Discovery Scotland though, since he drove the bus like he has stolen it on those small curvy roads 😉.

Only reason for not giving it 5 star is the lunch stop in Fort Williams. We passed the city center and stopped at a restaurant with a whooping 1.7 star review on Google (see for yourselves at "West Highland Restaurant" and read the reviews). It was located quite far away in Fort Williams and it was the only place to eat or buy anything within a 15 minute walk, for our one hour break.

So I'd suggest anyone taking this tour to pack their own lunch bag instead until Discovery Scotland changes the stop for lunch to a better place.

Another brilliant day tour with Discover Scotland! This was our third tour with the company, and once again, we had absolutely no regrets.

Our driver and guide, Kyle, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and a genuine pleasure to spend the day with. This was the second time we had Kyle as our driver, and it was wonderful to see him again. He made the journey both enjoyable and informative.

Stirling Castle was fascinating and well worth visiting. My only small criticism is that I would have appreciated more time to explore the castle, as the visit felt a little short.

Overall, it was another excellent experience, and I would happily book with Discover Scotland again. Highly recommended!

This tour was amazing. Sandy was full of history and very engaging. We did the one day, Glenfinnan Viaduct tour from Edinburgh. The bus was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Gary the tour guide was 11 out of 10! Family did tour of Loch Lomond and Stirling. Best tour we've ever been on. Banter. Check. Historical facts. Check. Homemade shortbread?! Check. Driving playlist?! Check. Safe driving. Check. And more! Highly recommended.

We had an amazing and eventful three days with Brian. The hotel they recommended for our stay was also very cosy, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
It was my first trip to Scotland, and I left feeling very happy and satisfied with the experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great way to explore Scotland.

Alan the driver and tour guide was fabulous endeavouring to add value at every turn, some extra stops and great insights into Scottish life.

Our driver Dave made us feel as if we had a friend looking after us he was full of info on the stop offs and during our travels always have a great time with Discover Scotland Tours

Ron was an incredible storyteller and guide. There were 7 of us who had been booked with a different tour line that never showed, and he worked fo fit us on his bus and saved the day! Every moment was made magical and comfortable.

We were on the 5 day tour to The North West and Isle of Skye.
We had a fantastic tour with Gary as driver/guide. Gary made our tour very special with great driving skills, historic knowledge, great music choices, and a lot of laughter. A great ability to find something interesting for all the passengers (aged from 14 to 82) - from hairy coos to castles.
The tour comes with a mix of fotostops and longer stops for sightseeing, walks, lunch or coffe.
We had Discover Scotland Tours arrange our accomodation, and was very pleased to stay at Torridon Guesthouse in Inverness and Cliff House on Isle of Skye.
We would love to come back on a tour.

We spent a lovely day thanks to our great guide, Kyle, who made the trip both entertaining and really interesting from the historical and cultural point of view. We also loved his wonderful Scottish music playlist! Highly recommended!

What a wonderfull tour. Scotland is great. Our tourguide Bryan is such nice man. Beautifull stops. Don't think too long to book this tour. Just do it.

Customer service via online chat prior to booking the tour was truly impressive. The representatives provided prompt and detailed responses to my questions. Al, our tour guide, was truly impressive. He was very knowledgeable and personable. We could not have asked for a better tour guide!

Can I give more than 5 stars? How about 11? We did the Loch Lomand and Stirling Castle tour. Our tour guide/bus driver was Maggie and she was fantastic. Her commentary combined history and personal experiences which gave it a warm, personal feel. We learned and saw so much. We also got lucky and had perfect weather. The van is comfortable with huge windows to see out. The itinerary you see a lot but it doesn't feel rushed. Finishing the day with the incredible Stirling Castle overlooking the beautiful countryside in the late afternoon light will stay with me a long time. I 100% recommend this company and this tour. Thank you, Maggie!!

Alan was such a brilliant guide, he had the same energy from start to finish. Was clearly knowledgeable on lots of topics. He really made the day special. The scenery made the tour and Alan made sure we had lots of stops for photos and comfort breaks. Had a lovely day. Would recommend this family run business.
