Since the upgrade in the restaurant there is only one coffee station and I had to queue for nearly 30 minutes for just a coffee. Another station is definitely needed for peak times.

Just love this place; the fresh scent of plants, delicious coffee, unusual niche and excellent quality homewares and gifts, and Sainsbury's with a good local butcher.

Very good store. lots of stock, Christmas range is excellent

Love Dobbies as a Garden centre but the new revamped restaurant was awful today in Gillingham . Queued for over 30 mins just to get a coffee then no where to sit ? People queuing for a table for food even longer ? Used to love the way we could help ourselves to a drink then get served our food quickly . Was such a great calming experience ,such a shame it is now so much worse . Probably wouldn’t stay for a drink or food again .

What a joke this place is! Avoid at all costs. Just had a revamp.ofvyte cafe and softplay. Brought my granddaughter here today, the soft play had reduced access because the roof was leaking. Decided yo get adrink, the queue was more than 30 minutes! At 11.30am no cakes left, just a few scones. The 2 women serving were unbelievably slow. Left and went somewhere better

My friend and I went for a coffee and tea cake, the queue was extremely long in the coffee lounge, we went to the restaurant where we were served reasonably quickly.
Had I had to wait in the coffee lounge queue I wouldn’t have bothered and if it continues like today I won’t be shopping or having coffee.
Many of the goods in the shop were not priced so again if I don’t know how much things are I won’t be coming back.

The lines are to long at the coffee shop. And only 2 people on tills. Had to wait at least 20 minuets to be served, you have done a nice job with the renovations but very slow now

We went expressly to have a cake and coffee in the restaurant only to find that it was closed and had been for a few weeks. I had not received any emails telling me of this.

Went to have my birthday treat, and found some old tea van out back in the cold. With the hot water not working so couldnt get a coffee. So no treat thanks a bunch

Friendly helpful staff even if they were having to inform us that the hot drinks were unavailable due to a problem with the temporary’cafe’

Went to have a meal at Dobbies only to find the restaraunt closed.
They could have put this out on an email.

The restaurant was closed for a refurbishment, went to the temporary part they were using the coffee machine had broken so we had to have a not particularly nice coffee. The fact that we hadn’t been informed about the closure was not good.

Had a lovely hot chocolate, it was free with my Dobbies card.
Bought a very good heather too

You send me adverts for offers , but you don’t till me the restaurant is CLOSED till mid October, no wonder it was quiet

I was pleased with what I purchased, but disappointed the restaurant was closed for refurbishment, although I did read hot drinks were available in the garden centre, but nothing was mentioned about food, albeit cold food / cakes or when the restaurant will be open as usual, hopefully the website will give that information. Thank you l

We had to have our drink outside due to work on the cafeteria in progress,otherwise our visit was very good.

Restaurant closed. I have already complained but received no reply. Not impressed tbh.

Great selection of plants, garden accessories, clothing, and pet section. The restaurant was closed but the staff were friendly and told us were we could still get hot drinks.

Love visiting and they have a lovely cafe with nice cakes. Flowers last long time and prices not bad either.
