Refunds? What refunds?

Like many of your customers who have written a review of their very poor experience with your refund system, I have hit exactly the same problem. To make the experience even worse you insist on repeating, verbatim, the same unhelpful response.
I will not hold my breath waiting for a refund to arrive, but I can assure you that I will never buy anything online again from M&S.

Can't believe M&S use this system for…

Can't believe M&S use this system for returns - the refund takes forever and having read other comments M&S seem interested and tell you to complain to doodle. I thought your contract was with the store not the delivery company anyway won't be ordering online anymore other stores returns policy much easier !

Hi Liz, Sorry to learn of your experience. Doddle provide the technology behind M&S's service, but the service is managed by M&S. We are sorry if you have been advised otherwise, you can reach their dedicated returns team here: 0333 014 8000. As with most services/systems, it relies on your parcel being scanned by the M&S & courier teams for return tracking etc. M&S also handle your refund. Thanks. Doddle.

Terrible service.

Terrible.. avoid at all costs!

I had to change my delivery and thought that opting to use my local Morrisons store would be an easy option, how wrong was I!

I was emailed to say the parcel would be available to collect the next day by 8pm. 3 days later and I get a notification to say it has been delivered to the Morrisons store.

I arrive to be told that the parcel was not there. After 3 phone calls to the depot to try and locate the parcel I finally find out that it was too big to be received by Morrisons and it was taken back to the depot, despite being told there’s even pictures of the parcel in Morrisons?!

Why not add a note to let customers know the service of collecting at Morrisons is not available if parcels are over a certain size?

some people clearly don’t know about how stuff work lol. Doddle run the back end on tech side and the retailers/couriers run the parcel side.
now onto the review
The Morrisons collection point near me are always good, always in and out as they know what they’re doing.

Holding my parcel to ransom

Got a text to tell me it had arrived, very disinterested customer service lady at Morrisons scanned my QR code and tells me it's not here. Ok - phoned DPD, they say it's there and have a photo, ask again, lady checks the cupboard and can see it but can't give it to me. DPD and Doddle both useless in trying to resolve and won't let me have my parcel due to a process failure within their system that means they can't track the where abouts of one parcel. It'll most likely be returned to the retailer and I'll have to order again. Poor.

Just avoid where you can

Just avoid where you can, they are no signs in store to show where ‘doddle’ is located, after finally locating a very uninterested member of staff to locate me to the ‘kiosk’ with a roll of the eyes, the woman behind the kiosk told me my box was too big to accept. It was big, it’s a vacuum but what was my alternative?! After calling the manager who quickly accepted the package a good 45 mins of my life was lost to doodle, cheers guys

Hi Leanne, Doddle is a technology service provider, It sounds like you booked your service via DPD. Morrisons support the DPD service, but it is managed by Morrisons & supported by DPD. Doddle have no involvement in the processing, shipping, tracking etc of any order. NOT A DODDLE

Tried to return a package in Erith Morrisons,was told by staff it was too big and heavy,despite them not knowing the weight or the size,asked what size limits were there only to be told it was at discretion of the staff.
Contacted doddle who then said DPD manage Doddle in stores!
DPD couldn't understand I was sending package via Hermes so kept asking me for a DPD reference number.
Not a Doddle an absolute shambles of a service

Hi Elliott, Apologies for any confusion. Doddle / Morrisons do not support a Hermes C&C service at Morrisons locations. The only C&C service supported (other than lockers) is the DPD service. When booking your Hermes service, you shouldn't have be able to select Erith Morrisons as an active C&C location. If you have entered the Morrisons address manually, its likely you may have sent your parcel via a home delivery option, not a pick-up shop service. We have sent you a direct message with more details & although Doddle have no relationship with Hermes, we will try to support, if we can. Thanks.

Absolutely awful service

Absolutely awful service, returned an item to a foodhall on 17th January, it's now 7th February and I am still waiting!! Checked online and it's still advising me that the parcel is at depot. How can it possibly take so long to process. Will not use this service again. If I could give it no stars I would have done

Although Doddle provide the technology behind the C&C return service for M&S, the process itself is ran by M&S.

Although we don't have access to M&S's systems, it sounds like your parcel has missed a scan(s) in its return journey, resulting in its status not updating (showing instead, its last scanned location).

M&S have a support team who would be happy to look into this for you & get your refund actioned, you can reach them on; 0333 014 8000

Awful

Awful. It’s been over two weeks since I returned some M and S clothing. The tracking says it is on route to M and S and this has been the case for days. It’s just ridiculous - I’ve never experienced anything like this. By contrast, when I returned an item to Schuh via courier at Asda, it was wrapped up in a few days. It’s just a joke. I don’t know what the relationship is between doddle and M&S. (Queue ‘Albatross’ theme from M&S ad.) They are not just any courier company; they are the most ineffective, farcical excuse for a courier company.

I called DTDC courier company

I called DTDC courier company, their adviser advised that the goods was sent to DPD on the January, I have not received anything from DPD, Morrison Cardiff Bay Doodle, it's so annoying and nobody isn't ready given me a clear answer and it's so difficult to get in hold with real customer service. Can someone please track my items from me.

Shambolic at best

Over 2 weeks.of them being aware that their scanner wasn't working and all they did was fob me off with your parcel will be uplifted later that day or the following day. One staff member refused to give me my package back, but thankfully I spoke to someone who didn't see a problem with doing it and had it redyfor when I arrived in store. Two weeks of being fobbed off and my parcel being delayed. I definitely won't use again and would suggest others avoid.

Honestly such poorly designed…

Honestly such poorly designed technology, had several issues with codes not scanning and the system not working properly. it gives me the absolute fear knowing an order of mine has went to a doodle powered pick up point.

A no star review.

I have given doddle 1 to enable review writing but in truth it shoulkd be a no star. Stood in the queue to scan my parcel's QR code.
Update
I have received (through Trustpilot) information from Doddle sayng that my review was meant for another business.
When I went to collect my Parcel I was directed by a Morrisons kiosk worker to the Doddle collection point. If the staff at Morrisons have got it wrong then surely training should be given but, the lady was confident, after viewing the information on my i-phone, that Doddle was the place to pick up the parcel. This was my first experience with a Doddle machine and because of it being more complicated than an Amazon macine then should not training be given to staff which would ensure ease of collection and returning for Morrisons customers and others.

Hi, I think there might be some confusion around the service (kiosk or locker) as well as they type of locker (DPD or Amazon) you are using. To confirm, Doddle do not support either DPD or Amazon lockers. We would recommend contacting the service provider (either DPD or Amazon) for support.

Tried to drop a parcel to Doddles In Morrison’s Petts Wood.The man working behind there was rude and miserable and said they’ve no space and for me to come back another time.I left but not without giving him a piece of my mind first.

Returned parcel to morrisons hadleigh essex on 18/10/2021 the parcel has still not been returned I contacted supplier who told me to go to morrisons which I did the service is terrible so now I do not know were my parcel is has the sender has still not received it

I tried to pick up a parcel here - big mistake !

I tried to pick up a parcel here. The assistant confirmed that they should have it. However, after 20 minutes looking, he said he could not find it.
The parcels were just piled up in a corner with no organisation. He just randomly picked up a parcel, checked the name and then threw it back in the corner.
I now have to tell the supplier that Morissons have lost the parcel.

Avoid using this service. "awaiting drop off from the sender"

Paid for next day delivery to send an item I sold on ebay, dropped it off at Morrisons I watched the lady scan my parcel and do everything correctly. she then handed me a card with a tracking number. The next day I tried the tracking code and it says it doesn't exist. So I then tried the tracking code I got when I created the label for my parcel and it says "awaiting drop off from the sender". Impossible to contact doddle, so i contact dpd who tells me theres nothing they can do as the tracking number doesn't exist. So now what £400 parcel missing, probably get charged back of the receiver as only tracking I have says i haven't even dropped it off. What a joke.

Not helpful at all in tracking progress of return

As many others have said, the website is pretty useless in tracking the progress of returns - particularly if you have more than one return in progress, as there's no way of knowing which order you're looking at (unless you made a note on the returns card yourself). Even items which have already been refunded don't show as such on the Doddle site. Comments I have seen from others saying the same thing date back over a year - time M&S got to grips with this.
