Drivalia UK - BRISTOL AIRPORT Avaliações 

I recently rented a car from Discover Cars for a pick-up at Drivalia at Bristol Airport Dec 28th 2024. The Drivalia IT system was down. They couldn't give me a car (booked, paid for and checked in on-line in a very tortuous, shaky online process). The IT system seemed to have impacted many branches in the UK including the head office? It took me 4hrs before I sorted out my own alternative and picked it up. I understand that IT glitches can occur - but having no backup process, no idea of timescale for the problem and no ability to help was incredibly frustrating. I have to say that I have no beef with the guys in the office as they were stuck with a poor process to follow. But the customer experience was very poor.
I am also very concerned about the safety of very confidential documents required for the online check-in.

Edit: I have now seen the reply from Drivalia. I had raised this issue several days earlier on their portal - and even now - still have heard nothing.

Found the lubricant oil and repair indicators on the second day of renting from Drivalia Heathrow Airport, went to Drivalia Bristol Airport, they refilled the lubricant oil and relieved my worry straight away for free, staff are friendly and helpful, very good customer experience 👍

Due to our plane arriving late,we contacted Amir,who volunteered to stay to help us,above and beyond the call of duty,on a rainy friday evening,so helpful with booking and got us going in a fiat,which was a clean good driveing car,with all mod cons,and on return dropped us back to airport,it is people like Amir that make a good company even better and should be well praised for his dedacation to his job,we will be recommending you company,to people needing a car in Bristol and esp Amir,

Those guys were just great! I had hired a mini van to be picked up at Bristol airport. However when I landed I got a call saying the van was not available (broken). The situation could have been really unpleasant with me having to ask a refund to the hiring broker and find another van last minute. However when I suggested I could get a state car, with similar space in the back, instead they were open to it and found me one as substitute. It served me as well as the van and some more. When delivering the car back I was a little passed the allocated time (due to circumstances beyond my control) and again, another, two guys in the office were super accommodating and kind. Overall a great experience, thank you.

My flight was due to arrive after their office closed so I was concerned about the pick up, but it all went exactly as they described it would (quite a relief as it was 2am!) The car was much bigger than I'd asked for which was a nice surprise. When I returned it, the check process was friendly and brief and I didn't even get charged for doing extra miles (which I thought I had). This is the second time this year I've used Drivalia at Bristol airport and I will definitely continue to use them. Thank you especially Simon, for being so friendly and quick.

Very impressed by Drivalia. I had prompt, friendly and helpful replies to my emails. On arrival at the car rental office the staff proved equally friendly and efficient, and no pressure to have extra insurance. We had no problems with the car during our trip and on returning it in the pouring rain Simon very kindly gave us a lift to the airport. We couldn't have hoped for better service.

Our experience with Europe Car was disappointing, particularly at Belfast International Airport. However, we received exceptional service from Drivalia Hire Car, specifically from Tony at the Belfast Lunch. He promptly addressed our concerns and provided us with a great deal on a rental car. We highly recommend Drivalia and express our sincere gratitude to Tony for his assistance.

David (from Venezuela) was brilliant but the car let them down. No shuttle bus in storms at pick up & drop off. No reply to emails before or phone calls & SMS during rental. One headlight & broken wipers made it hell to drive in storms. Faulty tyre pressure warning was a worry. Worst rental in 25yrs of ex-pat renting for septuagenarian female! I have already contacted you through manage my booking with a review & you're still asking me to do so 6 days later!!

It wasn't communicated that we needed a credit card

On arrival we were told they would charge us an extra £90 due to using debit card

I have used many hire companies and this has never been policy of any over company

Amir was very helpful in helping us out with some logistical issues before we collected our car from Bristol Airport, and he was there to meet me when I returned the car.

Drivalia are great!! I hired a "Renault Captur or similar" with them for 4 weeks. I was actually given a Peugeot 2008 and it was excellent. The customer service is exemplary! I was greeted by David who was friendly, helpful, and made the collection process as easy as possible (which was massively appreciated travelling with my 14 month old baby). Then when I returned the car it was so straightforward. Bo-Daisey was also extremely helpful, friendly and made the return process so quick and easy. I highly recommend Drivalia!!

Staff were very friendly (Mila and David). They gave us a couple of options to choose the car from. We took an electric car in the end, and they were very helpful at explaining charging options in the UK.

A day before rental I lost my creditcard when picking up they would not accept the card of my wife with same name and address. Only solution was an insurance being more money then the whole rental fee for a week! So finally I could cancel free of charge thx to carrental.com and make a new booking at Europecar and what a difference in location, helping and solutions. I do not blame the employee as he was helpful but was not allowed except from offering very expensive additional insurances. That is what poor car rental companies do always and why I hate a lot of car rental companies so much!

As this was my first time hiring a car. it was very easy to do and you get lots information about your booking. You also get directions how to get there from the airport.
Easy access to the keys as there in a key safe so you don’t need to worry about what time to get there

I rented the car through the website of Easy Jet when I booked a flight to Bristol.
Picking up the car at Drivalia near Bristol Airport was quite a longer walk then stated in the email. For the rest everything ok. But………..then what happened. I got a parking fine in Glastonbury (of course my own fault, I was not aware I did something wrong) but after more than 2 months I got an email from Drivalia about this and that I had to pay 60 pounds for the fine and 55 (!!) pounds for administration fee to Drivalia. What a disgrace. I emailed Easy Jet but of course they “could not take any responsibility” since I rented the car from Drivalia. I think to charge 55 pounds for administration cost is way too much. Anyway finally I have paid the amount because I want to get rit of this. But I will never rent a car neither with Easy Jet or Drivalia.

Amir was very friendly and very efficient. Pick-up and drop-off went smoothly. Dragging our siutcases over the pebbled carpark was a bit difficult. Driving out of the car rental without the help of a mirrow was a challange because one cannot see the traffic approaching from the right.
