Stay away form them
It is recommended to all foreign interested parties not to open a limited liability company with them under any circumstances. Not only are they very rude, but their arrogant behaviour towards foreign persons also suggests xenophobia. There have obviously problems with their ID system. But they were not prepared to provide support. In the end, they simply broke off contact like offended children. Mind you, I had already paid for everything! I would also like to warn you about the identification process. according to their own information, they have access to your camera on your smartphone. This is more than dubious in terms of data protection.

These checks are carried out by accredited credit reference agencies, which are approved for services that meet our stringent MLR (Money Laundering Regulations) requirements.
It's important to note that we do not have direct access to your camera or any other personal device. Our ID verification partners process is designed to protect your privacy and data security, adhering strictly to data protection laws. The camera access is used solely for the purpose of verifying identity documents.
We must adhere to these regulations without exception to ensure compliance. Unfortunately, this means we are unable to proceed with any company formation that does not pass all mandatory checks.
We regret any inconvenience this may have caused you. Our team is always here to provide guidance and support throughout the process, and we are disappointed to learn that our service did not meet your needs on this occasion.

Worst email provider
I have been with duport.co.uk for since July 2016 - i have never had some much problem with email always going down, Customer support team are helpful in informing it down ... but its so hard to run a busy if your email always down - twice this month, at lease 14 time a year ... They just need to get to the roots of he problem and fix it once in for all ...

Great personalised service from duport accountants
Boubacar, my accountant at duport accountants, and everyone at duport accountants, have always been professional and made me feel a valued client even though I was a semi retired, part time, self employed sole trader who liked a phone call better than emails.
Boubacar always responded quickly to my calls and promptly answered any questions I asked regarding tax issues and his help and advice in preparing my tax returns freed me to focus on my work. HMRC were in agreement with all the tax returns over the years and have recently agreed my final self assessment tax return as I have now retired.
I would definitely recommend duport accountants to others including my family and friends. My accountant Boubacar must have had many clients but always remembered who I was when I called. He was friendly and patient with me as an older, less IT literate client.

6 years and counting - Good Service particularly for any ad-hoc questions
Have had Duport as my accountants for 6 years now and they do a friendly chase when I have not got back near a deadline. I really appreciate this as HMRC, while important, is not on my daily thought process. When ever I ask a question, I get a very detailed and logical answer on expenses, invoice structure, CAPEX etc. The team really ensure you get an answer, even if they don't know the answer in the first instance. Currently my accountant is Boubacar - very happy with their responsiveness, patience(!) and approach. I would recommend to any busy company owner.

Looking into your account with us, I can see you had a meeting with our Client Success Lead when you joined during which the process of uploading your work to us was explained in full. Without work being uploaded to alert us that your Xero is ready for processing, we are unable to go in and complete the bookkeeping. During your time with us, we received no work from yourself, however once this was brought to our attention, your head accountant offered to complete the work for you as per the service agreements. Please get in touch with the office if you'd like to discuss this further.

I was a complete novice at this whole Sole Trader thing - but I found Duport to be upfront, honest and responsive to my stupid questions etc - my registration went through very smoothly at HMRC and I now already have my UTR and I am ready to trade... just need some customers now :)
