I had Dino Rod out to my house today, and the engineer was excellent. He found the problem quickly and sorted out the problem. It was so easy to book online, and confirmation was very quick. I had a call from the engineer when he was on his way. I would definitely use them again

No free quote given and charged despite not fixing problem
The guy who came was very friendly. Very efficient. Found the problem quickly. So the service was all great. He couldn’t fix it though.
However! When I booked the job in I was told that call out was free, I would be given a quote and then decide if I wanted to proceed or not. I was warned that the job would cost a minimum of £198 and go on up from there depending on the problem. None of that happens I was charged a straight out fee of £198 despite him not being able to do anything to fix the problem.

We are pleased to know that our technician arrived promptly, displayed a friendly attitude, and accurately identified the underlying issue. However, we note your concerns regarding the pricing structure explained during booking versus the final amount billed when a repair could not be completed. We can see from the engineers report and photos, Engineer high water pressure jetted and investigated before confirming it was a failed soakaway, and also noted the pipework to the foul line needs to be rerouted, suggesting a full investigation using equipment and time was conducted. We will review how we communicate when a new job is raised to ensure its clear for future customers.

I have just had my drains unblocked by Glyn. Such a lovely man, I was really worried it was difficult to get to a would be a length job. He was very reassuring and so quick. Very tidy afterwards too. Highly recommend!

Couldn't fix on the day so treated the appointment as a quote visit rather than a call out and arranged to revisit with the additional equipment needed.

Had an engineer from another company…
Had an engineer from another company (Plumbers365) come round to clear a blocked drain. They didn't clear it. They didn't even identify where the blockage was. The charged an additional £200 to use the camera but then refused to put it all the way to the blockage (in case it damaged their camera).
Charged £385
And quoted £6600 to fix the problem .
So I contacted Dyno -Rod. The Engineer offered to come out same day. Was prompt. Cleared the drain in 15 minutes. Ran the camera through the entire drain for me to show there was no damage to the pipe.
No remedial work needed.
Prompt, friendly, trustworthy and great value.
