I purchased my estarli e20.7 in September 2024 based on good reviews and a friend's recommendation. However I am not entirely satisfied. Firstly my odometer suddenly showed 26k plus miles but the bike itself worked ok. The bike was sent to estarli to investigate and repair . It took just around 3 weeks for it to be returned. Initially odometer reset to zero but once again it changed back to 26k plus. As bike working ok I gave up on that issue. I was advised the bikes range should be 30 miles but I was getting 15 to 17 miles. The shop said it would improve with use .Not the case. So I purchased a range extender battery so now I have the 30 miles I needed. My current issue is what appears to be a dead battery. Bearing in mind it has only been 13 months and almost a month it was back at the factory , this is rather frustrating. I have once again contacted estarli direct as the shop closed down and after going through their suggestions the battery is now being returned with no offer of a replacement which would be my choice. They wish to investigate the fault and assume rectify and return. This I am told will take a fortnight once they have the item. Once again I am without my year old bike. So future purchasers of this bike please be aware that it is not a rosy as the reviews.

Having bought an electric bike during Covid, my Dawes Ultra Galaxy had spent a few years hanging up in my workshop and I wasn't sure what to do with it - prices on eBay didn't convince me I should sell it and my grandson turned it down (too old!) so when I spotted an ad from e my bike I decided to convert it so I had a back-up. Service throughout from Adam and Matt was superb and the bike came back looking virtually brand new. I wasn't sure about the conversion for a while as the ride seemed a bit bumpy but that turned out to be mainly due to the state of my local roads. I fitted new gravel tyres and now the ride is comfortable and the support from the motor perfect. The battery range and effectiveness of the mid motor mean that I now prefer my Dawes to the (rear hub) electric bike I started with!

I went to E-My-Bike, principally for their knowledge and expertise. They delivered well.
I ride Tricycles and my eTrike had a rack battery, whichj I removed, because the weight directly over the wheels increased the drag of my cycle. E-M-B fitted a good high capacity battery, I believed with Panasonic cells, securely to my down tube.
I am very pleased with the results.
I had first come across E-M-B the previous year, when I was looking for advise on how to improve the performance of my Bafang motor, Matt, the owner, was very helpful on that occasion. I also tentatively asked about batteries, as I was interested in having branded batteries in my battery when I came to replace it and was pleased to hear E-M-B’s battery suppliers do this.
I get the feeling E-M-B is a small concern, which means you get a personalised service. I was met at their work shop by the owner. The battery fitting technician, works from his own house and is clearly an avid cycle enthusiast.
The only initial glitch, I think from being a small concern, when the owner went on holiday I did not get my receipt as quickly as I had expected.
I certainly have a high capacity eBike battery that has been well fitted. I believed it to be a Hailong battery, with branded cells, although I can not find a 36V 900Wh Hailong battery being marketed. This concerns me. The other minor irritation was despite reminders. E-M-B have not supplied the decals they promised.
