I have explored a LOT of directory platforms out there - believe me when I say this is the best of them. Customizeable, robust and capable without being TOO overwhelming, low learning curve, and the end product is nice to look at. What more can you ask for? I highly recommend requesting a demo walkthrough with a rep; I found it extremely helpful as I was able to ask every single question I had and get an answer. I am very confident with my decision to invest my money (and future of my company) here vs. with a competitor platform. I can't wait to share the finished product!

Has the features I wanted at a price thousands less than starting from scratch

Its got almost all the features you need for a directory site. Just a few more commonly used features like hiding or un-hiding fields in a listing would make it perfect.

Its a little early but having the Native App option is really what prompted me to move forward. Seems like the templated drag and drop feature is going to be super helpful as well. Fingers crossed! Customer service was great from the start!

It's easy to learn within minutes, it's incredibly easy to use, and completely user friendly. I wish there was a tad more features though.

I just signed up so rating this now would be a little premature if you're looking for good info but the demo was first rate and all my questions (i had a long list) were answered in the demo before I even had a chance to ask them.

I signed up because this company seems to be much more professional and solid than the alternatives I had found. The platform seems to be very well thought out as well and allows me to get under the hood and make changes to the page format that would have cost me $100's for someone else to on the other platform i was looking at. I look forward to seeing what it can do for me.

We feel great to place the outcome of our site with eDirectory. For a very long time now our project has been on hold while we determined the best platform and plan. We came across eDirectory online and had questions immediately answered online, followed by a same day appointment with Daniel Storm. Just what we're looking for in terms of an online marketplace for our trade association. The features are well rounded and straight forward and the hosting is a nice feature. Overall, this should help us provide a nice service to our membership as well as a new revenue opportunity.

I have looked at a competitor's platform for about a year, but in the end eDirectories gives much more value for the initial cost allowing us to grow. The User Interface and User Experience of both frontend and backend was hands down much better. Looking forward to our launch!!!

I chose eDirectory because I like the design, features, and business profile pages. I think it provides the most value for my subscribers.

I was walked through the entire process. The ease of the set is wonderful. The agent was very supportive and help guide my decision.

eDirectory does not have a fully integrated payment gateway, which is very critical for paid monthly/yearly memberships. They advertise payment integration with about 8 or so third-party payment systems not Stripe and PayPal. What they don’t tell you is that there is NO cancellation integration. Anyone can become a member at their own will be they can’t cancel at their own will (red flag). You will have to create a contact lead box specifically for cancellation. Once you receive a request for cancellation, you have to manually delete in eDirectory, then cancel in Stripe, screenshot the cancellation in Stripe (they don’t send confirmation emails because of the eDirectory integration), attach said screenshot to a new email, and send to the member as a confirmation email. This is not professional or user-friendly, even though it’s customary for every other membership based platform. if you want them to customize this integration for you, it will 1 mo+ and cost you an additional $2000+. You also have to pay for every single minor change, including making your logo bigger, changing the link colors (links are built in blue regardless of your themed color), changing “enquiry” to “inquiry” if you’re US based, etc. eDirectory offers products/services that are nowhere near functional as advertised and this will affect your business, income, and name (ie. Fraud disputes, payment disputes, payment issues, refunds, etc.). Save your time and money and go with a different platform.
