I have been a member of Energie Fitness…
I have been a member of Energie Fitness for 3 weeks now, and overall I really like it! There's always a friendly welcome when you go in, a good atmosphere, and it's not at all intimidating like some gyms I have been a member of in the past. There is a good selection of machines which are all fairly simple to set up, which is a relief when you're a bit nervous about getting something wrong and looking silly (We've all seen those videos on social media! ) I really like the fact that if you want a private space to workout, you're free to use the classroom....times dependant...and that there are lots of online classes to chose from if you can't make it to the gym.
I had a very informative induction with Amy, who explained the machines thoroughly and made me feel very welcome, and I wouldn't hesitate in asking for help if I needed it - the staff all seem very approachable.
There are a few niggly points that have stopped me giving full marks; the first one being that the wipes don't seem to be refilled very often. I have been 3 times this week and none of those times there were any wipes, which means every one is having to touch the same spray bottle to clean their machines...not ideal in the current climate! The hand dryer in the ladies loo is also a point of frustration, in that it's about as useful as a mint-flavoured suppository...and I inquired about some personal training classes, and upon replying with my availability to come in and discuss, I was never emailed back. I thought this might be because of annual leave but this was over a week ago, so not sure what happened there. Other than that my experience has been very positive and I will continue to be an active member of Energie Fitness.

Great equipment and friendly staff
Great equipment and friendly staff, who have taken the necessary precautions to keep us safe during the coronavirus pandemic.
The range of cardio and weights equipment is fantastic and this is reflected by the cross-section of people who regularlly use the gym.
I wouyld defintely recommend energie Futness Lincoln to anyone looking for a great all-round gym.

I really enjoy all the variety of equipment for different muscle types and that there is always equipment available for multiple people. I would also recommend to anyone who wants an easy going and friendly environment.

This is a budget gym
This is a budget gym. The equipment is in a poor state of repair. There seems to be no inclination to remedy this. It's a case of you get what you pay for..Best thing for me is the nearby location.

My experience
I’ve only been once but was disappointed as there were only 2 bikes that I liked plus comparing it to my other gyms, it had less equipment. On the good side the staff were friendly

A gym for everyone!
This gym is amazing! As a gym goer that suffers with an anxiety disorder walking in used to be my biggest challenge, not any more! I feel like I'm home, with my gym family here and let me tell you, from someone who generally dislikes being amongst people and prefers the company of my cats to my family, this is a massive compliment. I no longer go to the gym to burn a few calories, or because "i'm paying for it now so might as well use it", I go because I enjoy it, I enjoy the friendships I have made, fun but supportive banter, the atmosphere and how I come away feeling. The staff are friendly and approachable and do their best to get to know you and your needs. The gym itself has gone the extra mile to ensure during this current year of hell or whatever you choose to affectionately call it, we have a safe space to go and can continue to work out knowing that the cleanliness and procedures are all in place and monitored by some dedicated staff, crazily dedicated!
The range of classes are great and there's something for everything, its okay to be a beginner, you're not going to be singled out, it's okay to be the weaker of the group, you're not going to feel left out and it's okay to have fun because that's how it feels, hard work yes but still fun(maybe not the first few days after a new or first class though...ouch) but I wouldn't change my gym for the world, it's my space to workout, be pushed but supported and mostly a place I feel comfortable to be me, anxious, nervous little old me.

Good value but improve app and fingerprint entry
I like this gym, it has all the machines and equipment you'd expect in any standard gym. Staff are friendly and it offers a variety of classes. Purchased a Groupon offer initially that was meant to run until April but the Gym cancelled it after less than a month and before I used all the sessions I purchased. I still decided to sign up as it's a good value gym, however, after a month and 2 payments deducted I am still unable to book classes via the app or access gym with fingerprint, despite raising this issue 5 or 6 times. Hopefully this will be rectified soon. This is a no frills gym but it's ideal if you just want to get in shape without all the extras you get at more expensive gyms. Would have given more stars had the issues I have raised been sorted.
