I've never used this product before

I've never used this product before. So thought I would buy some to try while on offer. The only thing that I was disappointed with was both products have a very little shelf life. If I'd known that I would have just brought one to try.

Really helps my IBS-D

Really helps my IBS-D and gives me a better quality of life. I find it more convenient to take on a spoon and then have a drink of water than to mix in a glass. I have been using it for over a year now and take it in the morning and night whenever needed.

We are sorry to hear that Enterosgel didn’t work for you, we do recommend trying for at least 2-3 weeks up to 3 times per day to see if the product works for you, then tailor the dose to your symptoms.

In our recent large UK trial in IBS-D, 76% of patients said it gave them adequate relief of their symptoms, but unfortunately as with all therapies it is not 100% effective. We hope you find a treatment that will help you manage your condition.

It works well enough, but timing it with other meds just before eating takes some planning.

We are glad to hear that Enterosgel is working for you, many people with IBS with diarrhoea once they have completed an initial 2-3 week course up to 3 times per day, then tailor the dose to their individual symptoms and lifestyle.
Some people find taking it first thing in the morning or last thing at night helps them to plan their dose around their other medication or meals.

Thank you for sharing your feed back. It is important to find the right dose for your symptoms. You can take up to 8 doses per day after every bowel movement. The job of Enterosgel is to not to give you an immediate relieve as slow-bowel drugs would do. Enterosgel works by binding the harmful substances that contribute to IBS symptoms and expelling them. Every dose expels certain amount of harmful substances and depending on severity of your condition you need to adjust your dose.

Enterosgel is safe and completely drug-free, and it is safe to go up with the dose and down once the symptoms improve. It is important to complete the 20-day treatment programme. Hope you will find Enterosgel helpful.
