tl;dr: They lost my service log book, which had a full service history. The issue remains unresolved, and I am awaiting an appropriate solution.

I recently took my car to this dealership for an MOT and full service. While the service itself was satisfactory, I've faced a frustrating situation due to their loss of my service log book.

Upon discovering that the log book was missing, I informed the dealership and confirmed that I had handed it over. They assured me that they would locate the log book and return it or send it via mail. However, after a week, they still hadn't found it. When I called to follow up, they proposed sending me a new service log without the stamps from previous services. This solution is inadequate, as it doesn't maintain the full service history of my car.

I've requested that the representative escalate the issue to a superior, in hopes of reaching a fair resolution. To date, I am still waiting for updates on their communications.

While I understand that mistakes can happen, it is crucial for a dealership to take responsibility and provide suitable remedies when they do. I am hopeful that they will recognize the inconvenience and potential loss of value resulting from the missing log book and offer an acceptable resolution.

In the meantime, I would advise caution when entrusting this dealership with important documents. I will continue to update this review as the situation progresses and until a satisfactory outcome is achieved.

I met James today in order to collect the car that I bought remotely earlier in the week! Everything was ready for my exchange (I had a part exchange to bring in), the transaction was seamless and the service extremely professional. To top it off, I also love my new car!

Visited today to view a car we paid £100 to hold, upon arrival we inspected the car and found damage to the paintwork on the front bumper, nearside sill and roof, the car also looked like it had been used as a tractor, filthy, and that is after they had spent 45 minutes cleaning it they said. Felt like salesman was not bothered, and what you see is what you get. Got home and checked emails to find alot of forms sent through with questions already answered that we had not even been asked. All we are waiting for now is a refund of the £100 after we told them we don't want the car and by the looks of previous reviews that is a long drawn out battle in itself, i will update you on the outcome.

Hi there my daughter & I when to buy a 69 reg Ford Fiesta ST we had taken the fiesta for a short drive as there was no petrol in it for a longer run . We got back & spoke to the sales person about the car I said we where paying cash for it . He then started to go on about HPI I said again I was paying cash he still did not listen to me then started the hard sell about Extended warranty wheel&tyres warranty HPI warranty paint work warranty we said we was not interested in any of it apart from the extended mechanical warranty we had not quibbles on price I asked him if he could do it for £17000 all in he said no chance we where only wanting £200 Knocking off the price so I need I say more we went to trust Ford Barnsley and bought one The lads at TrustFord couldn’t do enough for us

We were initially disappointed when a car we had agreed to buy was not secured by Evans Halshaw from their dealer network.
However, despite the delay, Nathaniel worked to arrange another one at an equivalent price and so far we are very pleased with it.
