Suitable and up to date apparatus is important for individuals exercise regime. Everyone Active Co. certainly exceeds in this regard in providing a full range of apparatus for all members undertaking their personal routine i.e. cardio vascular and/or muscle strengthening.
Staff are particularly helpful providing technical and physical advice.

Children’s swimming lessons. Instructors are great but hygiene is poor- lots of parents walking with shoes on without any consequence or questioning from staff, pushchairs pushed all around the poolside. Also parents sat on mobile phones, some even spotted photographing or videoing without questioning by staff. Don’t feel like can approach people with it as there’s that many people doing it without question. Do occasionally see staff cleaning the changing areas but they are fighting a losing battle a bit with people walking in with shoes. I know it’s difficult to police, but it really needs addressing from a safeguarding and hygiene perspective

I just starting swimming here but it so run down needs a good refurbishment. Not worth the money .

My husband and daughter signed up for a gym membership on Wednesday 25th June, however we decided it wasn’t the right time due to my daughter starting a new school so decided to cancel as per the terms and conditions stating they have a 14 days money back guarantee. I had paid nearly £70 at sign up point so expected the refund to be fairly straight forward after cancelling.
When I logged into the account I could see that it was cancelled but not ending until 31st July, so I called the gym and was advised I’d selected cancellation instead of stating 14 day money back guarantee but not to worry she would send it over to head office to process and we’d get email confirmation within 5 days. 5 days passed and nothing, so I emailed the local centre back and the woman I’d spoken to said she had sent it but it can take 5 days as advised. Again, nothing received and no refund so I replied again on the 13th day as I was concerned once the 14 days was up, we wouldn’t received a refund. Megan replied quite rudely, basically saying everytime we reply to her it goes back to the queue at head office and will be even longer! The tone of the message was uncalled for as I have been nothing but polite in all of my communication with them. Still no refund 16 days later and no way of contacting head office direct!

I just want it sorting out! I no longer want to deal with the local centre staff, I want someone from head office to get in touch and sort it out please.

Clean and tidy facilities.Machines easy to understand.Air conditioning.Helpful staff at hand.👍

No one even knows the managers name apparently not even she does. Grace…??
No communication regarding our booking and the facilities being closed from the day before!!! Due to an apparent leak… so why weren’t we called ? We paid for parking and then upon arriving was told the manager couldn’t speak to us. We were unable to use the facilities we had booked over a month ago!!! Do not recommend 0/10!!!!!! So much for a relaxation day at the spa with attitude from all staff members. Grace eyeballed us as we were leaving and gave us a wave 👋 as we left 🤣 how professional

Excellent value for money if you purchase a membership. Excellent range of classes and a well equipped gym. Friendly team of both staff & trainers/instructors.

I enjoy going to the Rainbow Leisure Center. It can be a rather lonely experience, but keeping fit and well can be of a very invidious nature.

Classes could be at times more inclusive; there have been times when I have felt left out.

3 great classes tonight delivered by 2 fantastic instructors Amy and Mary.

Sadly, I feel this centre is going backwards, with recent changes in class times in the new fitness timetable..Also in the last few months moving fitness equipment to another centre...My annual membership is up for renewal and although most of the staff and customers I meet are good people, I'm seriously looking at other fitness options..

Me and my friend took our little ones swimming in the baby pool.
There was a swimming instructor a young girl with dark brown hair who proceeded to give us horrible looks throughout our stay. When it came to the end of the session she then shouted at us to get out the pool and rushing us to leave.
Absolutely awful experience due to this woman. When we come with our little ones we should be able to enjoy our time here and not feel on edge that we have done something wrong.
You need to get better staff!

The rainbow leisure centre has an excellent gym plus lots of activity classes, the staff are really friendly & the personal trainers are great too. The only downside is the lack of privacy in the changing room which the general public use too even though they have toilets to use opposite the changing room, there is no locking system on the door so anyone can enter even when you are taking a shower which is not private at all!

We have been members for approx 9yrs .the facilities are really poor .the shower by the steam room not working for months .often the sauna broken .and the repairs take a long time to repair .the area needs a good clean and overhaul. The lockers and changing room doors (some)have no.locks . The automatic door by the entrance does not work so while you are changing and drying you're hair it's cold .the staff are nice but we are paying nearly £30 a month and don't feel we are getting a good service for our membership.

Swimming lessons passports are a waste of time never get updated

Rapidly going downhill, I visited last week and three times the antibacterial wipe dispensers were all empty, on each occasion I reported it to a staff member. Also On one visit last week the paper towel dispensers were all empty and on my return tonight they still hadn’t refilled any of the antibacterial wipes.

Facilities fine, however I do question the prices. I pay for an annual gym membership, but in addition I play social badminton which I have to pay £6 a session which I think is unfair when I pay an annual subscription. I think it should be at a reduced cost for the annual membership.

Excellent value for gym membership especially for those that use either classes, as I do, or the pool. Staff are helpful and always seem happy to interact.

I joined this Gym on 03 Mar 2023 I paid £29 for months membership and £10 for joining fee. did not receive any terms and conditions. £59 was taken from bank this Morning with no notification from Everyone Active. so I have paid them £98 up to now and only been using the gym for 4 weeks. I called them this morning and was told to contact head office I asked them for the telephone number was informed they don't have a telephone . no point emailing them they never reply by reading some of the comments on this site. I phoned back asking could you please refund me my money back . because I wish not to use your services anymore
and was told NO ,
so I am £59 out of pocket and especially with a living crisis going on its a lot of money . I have been told by my Doctor to be more active so I joined this Gym in good faith and to get healthier

so would stay well away

I have cancelled my direct debit , I have spoken to someone on the phone over a two weeks ago and asked if I Could speak to a member of the management team to hopefully resolve this matter I was told they would call me back.

I have sent numerous emails about this matter and asked for the contact details for person who they correspond with from Middlesbrough council as it says on the web page (we are in partnership with Middlesbrough council) , I haven't received any correspondence back from Everyone Active I have found this very rude and unprofessional and bad customer service .

So at the moment I cannot go swimming as Everyone Active own all swimming pools in Middlesbrough

Staff are helpful and friendly. I'd like daily aqua aerobics classes, as that's my favourite activity. Swimming sessions are normally great fun with lovely people enjoying the pool.

Honestly amazing gym faciltity couldnt ask much more from it great for beginners too and the cleaniness of the gym and the center in general is just as good if not better
