I have been a regular swimmer at Uttoxeter Leisure Centre for many years, and have found the daily morning slow lane sessions ideal to keep muscles, joints and limbs moving without stress . Staff are friendly, premises clean, water warm and parking easy. Booking easy and with annual membership relatively cheap.

At 71 years old I decided to swim to keep fit as it's something I always loved doing when younger. I was a little self conscious about going but joined everyone active at Uttoxeter leisure centre. I needn't have worried. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the centre is always very clean. The changing rooms are pleasant and clean and the pool is always a comfortable temperature. I'm really enjoying my visits and look forward to each one. My fitness has definitely improved since I started swimming there. I would highly recommend the centre to anyone considering taking up an activity on offer.

I'm at the centre around 4/5 days a week, it's mostly clean and well maintained, classes are good and cater for all fitness levels , body conditioning on Thursday morning is particularly good , thank you Andy Kerry for all the thought and planning you put in for us

Please, please, please sort out the hand soap in the ladies dry change. It's not been working right for literally months. Even when there's soap in it (which is a rarity just lately) it still doesn't pump properly. I've mentioned it to staff at least half a dozen times and have put it on the last two feedback emails I've had, yet nothing ever changes. You've just put your prices up again too, so it's even more annoying that the basics aren't even being provided.

Oh, and while I'm here I've also put on the feedback forms about how nice it'd be to get a machine to support ab workouts. Either a captains chair or a pin control resistance machine would be great. None of the everyone active gyms I've used have ever had anything for abs beyond the suggestion of sit ups and planks that I could do at home if it wasn't for diastasis recti.

UPDATE: The dispenser in the ladies dry change was no different last Friday, as there was a bit of soap in there but it was struggling to actually squirt out as usual. There was no soap in there at all on Monday or Tuesday of this week and I wasn't the only person to be openly complaining about the issue either, as there was a mum in there with two kids that said she'd raised it half a dozen times herself and was fed up of the bad example it was setting. If the soap dispenser itself had been any different, it would have been impossible to tell since there was nothing in it anyway. Today is Wednesday and I haven't yet been, so can't confirm if they've been refilled today. Let's hope they have. Thank you.

Uttoxeter Leisure Centre - I use the gym regularly and occasionally swim. Lovely staff, generally very clean and well maintained. Membership (IMO) is good value if you use it a couple of times a week.

Great gym and staff. Lots of things on offer for all age groups. Lots of gym equipment.

The Everyone active at Uttoxeter is great. There is lots on offer at the centre for everyone. They are also very supportive of your fitness journey. The staff are always on hand to answer questions or show you how to use the gym equipment. My son enjoys the swimming lessons although they can get very busy. I think the size of the class should be smaller. Overall the centre is great

Lovely staff, can never do enough for me and my family. Only criticism is that they have started charging for under 2’s to swim despite being members and our older daughter attending swimming lessons. It would also be great if Uttoxeter had more activities for children such as fun swims, holiday and term time classes, baby groups and activities, and a soft play/ play session would be great too!

Lack of decent changing facilities and spa loses a star.

Great staff fantastic new state of the art gym plenty of parking and if you ask at reception you get a refund on parking.

Uttoxeter leisure centre is a major intrinsic part of our local community. It offers swimming, gym, sports hall activities, childrens parties, specialised coaching sessions and much much more. The staff are friendly and helpful, the facilities spotlessly clean, easy online booking system. Well done to everyone involved.

The Young at Heart Class for older people is a wonderful way to retain some fitness. However, Everyone Active Management is determined to make the visit less attractive when the Gym section is enlarged into the Studio. There want to move small classes, like Young at Heart, into the Sports Hall which is too big, cold and not suitable for such classes. A proposal to erect a folding wall in the sports Hall was ignored and turned down. It seems that they do not consider the health and well being of the older person but are just there for the money.
If customers had been approached and asked for their views 6 months or more ago, then there would have been an opportunity to put forward a stronger case. The smaller classes have been ignored and put at the bottom when it is important in this day and age to ensure the health and well-being of the o; older person is equal to all others attending.

Friendly and non imposing atmosphere. Machines suitable for all ages and levels of fitness.

Very helpful staff make the experience of attending enjoyable. Great swimming pool with a good range of options to allow for lane swimming.

Facilities are Ok, but ripped off with swimming lessons - my child stopped lessons and I asked then to cancel lessons but they still took money from my account for months afterwards by mistake and they refused a refund. Be wary.
