Recently returned from an amazing trip to Indonesia. We started in Sumatra where we went trekking in search of orangutans in the forest and saw a few in their natural habitat. Then it was to Yogyakarta in Java to visit the 2 famous temples - one Hindu and one Buddhist. We spent 3 days in Ubud, Bali staying in our own villas with a private pool - sheer luxury. Then we went to Flores (Komodo Island) and were lucky to see 7 komodos including a baby. Four were in one place together. We visited the Pink Beach for swimming and snorkelling. Last few days were spent in Sonur, Bali. Yvette arranged a trip to Nusa Benida where we spent time on a private boat which stopped at several snorkelling spots. We packed in a lot. Yvette is an expert, curating each trip with care. She uses the best local guides. Travelling with Yvette of Experium Travel is so much fun. I have already travelled with her a few times and have already booked more trips. I personally highly recommend Experium Travel.

A new concept from Experium Travel, a 7 day trip on a Greek Gulet. Interesting, and as I had never experienced this type of holiday before, I booked my place for a week of R & R.

I arrived at Zakynthos port and there was my boat M S EROS which would be my home for the next 7 days. Yvette, our trusted leader and the proud owner of Experium Travel was there to meet me.
My cabin was small, the ensuite bathroom (fab shower/toilet/basin) even smaller. But hey, I found there to be enough space to unpack and store my belongings for the coming week. The bed was very comfortable.
We cruised the Ionian islands expertly crewed by Captain George, engineer Ahmed, chef Morsy, barman/crew Mido and crew Magdy who by the end of the trip had become not just crew but our friends.
The food was delicious. How Morsy produced such an amazing spread everyday I have no idea. Yvette had also arranged a drinks package, very generous.
Eros took us to some fabulous little harbours and secret bays where we either swam off the boat or went ashore and found a little beach. Several times we ate out sampling the local food of Greece in super tavernas.
We experienced a hands on cooking class at a little farm on Lefkada and a bus tour of Ithaca, both very relaxed and enjoyable.

The group was small and friendly, and we all had fun and laughed a lot! We were a very happy band of travellers by the end, which came all too soon.

Roll on another similar holiday in the future.

Just returned from a fabulous trip with Experium Travel sailing around the Greek Islands. We were in a traditional Gulet which was snug, and had plumbing that took a little getting used to! But we visited some beautiful ports, swam off the boat in warm seas, had a cookery lesson, saw incredible sunrises, and ate and drank some quality food and wine.
A much more relaxed holiday than most of Yvette’s trips, but as always, she ensured it contained lots of little extras and surprises.
If you want high quality, professionally organised holidays, that offer something a little different to mainstream travel brands, I’d definitely recommend going on an Experium trip.

Brazil - Rio Iguassu and the Pantanal . Yet another 5 star experience with Yvette and Experium. We book one holiday and we get 3 - or even 4. The wonders of Rio, which after a day of rain, we were lucky to see in glorious sunshine with trips up to Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf, balanced by strolls along Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, drinking coffees or cocktails . Off to Iguassu and the trip starts as you round the corner on the bus and see the beautiful pink hotel and the wonders of the falls. A stunning start. We walked the Argentinian side in the rain, and the Brazilian side in the sunshine and I think got equally wet on both days, but the optional boat trip resulted in a fun and total soaking as our speedboat went close to the roaring water. Then off to the Pantanal where we stayed in two very beautiful but very different lodges. The first was right by the river so all we had to do was jump in boats each day for our trips along the river, the second nestled next to a lagoon full of cayman… we were grateful for the electric fences! We saw everything and more with early morning and late afternoon safari trips, always with the options for some to opt out and have a few hours with a good book by the pool. The highlight of this part of the trip was the beautiful jaguars, and we were very lucky in our sightings, not just luck, but the fact that Yvette always employs the very best and experienced guides with years of experience - and fantastic eyesight! Brazil is obviously a huge country, so expect some early starts and long days of travelling, but we crammed so much in to a mere 2 weeks it was well worth it.

This was, without a doubt, one of the best holidays I’ve ever had. Ecuador, the Amazon and the Galápagos Islands were incredible, and the whole experience was made even better by the fantastic pace of the trip. It never felt rushed or like we were hanging around — every day had something new and exciting to discover.

There seemed to be a new “wow” moment every day, with the experiences getting better and better, and definitely saving the best until last with the Galápagos Islands!

Our Travel Host, Yvette, was fantastic. She clearly knew her clientele well and was able to tailor the experience to meet the needs and requirements of the group, which made such a difference. Her knowledge, organisation and understanding of what we wanted helped make the holiday feel really special.

I would absolutely travel with Experium Travel again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable adventure.

I’ve just returned from an awesome experience with Experium Travel, travelling through Ecuador, the Amazon and the Galápagos, and I can honestly say it was a trip of a lifetime.

Yvette, who organised and led the trip, was exceptional. Everything was arranged down to the smallest detail and she was always on hand and part of the group, constantly checking that everyone was happy and enjoying themselves. Her previous experiences of this trip really showed. The whole itinerary ran incredibly smoothly, including the flights, transfers, lodges, hotels, restaurants, excursions and local guides.

Despite the mud & the rain (!!) - wellies were provided- the Amazon was amazing. We had fantastic guides who were incredibly knowledgeable and fun, and the lodge was as to be expected in the heart of the rainforest. Coming back at the end of the day for a swim in the pool and then sitting around the large tables for dinner, chatting about the day with the group was one of the great parts of the experience. Even gently floating down the Napo River on rubber tubes was great fun!

The Galápagos were absolutely unforgettable. I loved all three islands, and the snorkelling and wildlife were incredible. Snorkelling with sea lions and seeing so many beautiful sea turtles was probably my biggest highlight. The various hotels we stayed in were all very individual, quirky, spotlessly clean, with lovely staff and some great pools. Our small group of twelve was also perfect, and everyone got to know each other and looked out for one another.

I liked that there were so many activities, but that it was also possible that you could opt in/out depending on how you felt. I would say this trip is particularly suited to adventurous solo travellers, couples or friends who enjoy being active, those who like water activities, don’t mind long days and want to see and experience as much as possible.

Be prepared for some early starts and for the unexpected, but that is all part of the adventure. I would definitely recommend Experium Travel and would have no hesitation in travelling with Yvette again. This was my first time in South America and certainly won’t be my last!

Extraordinary adventures both in Equador and the Galapodis. We enjoyed some special moments and it was a holiday I will never forget

Just returned from a fabulous trip to Quito, the Amazon rainforest and the Galápagos. It was a very special way to mark a significant birthday — and it certainly didn’t disappoint!

There were so many highlights and, underpinning every step, was our Tour Director, Yvette Barnett’s, exceptional planning and attention to detail. We were a group of 12 — a mix of solo travellers, friends and couples — and Yvette goes to extraordinary lengths to ensure everyone has a fantastic holiday. We all appreciated knowing that every element of the organisation was taken care of, allowing us simply to relax and enjoy the experience. It’s absolutely true that, on Yvette’s trips, you really do experience a country rather than simply visit it.

It’s worth recognising, however, that you have signed up for a group trip. There are huge advantages to sharing so many special moments with like-minded people, and it’s a real pleasure if you enjoy meeting new people and discovering their stories. Some free time is always built into the programme, but overall, keeping to the timetable is essential if everything is to run smoothly. This may not suit the more independent traveller, but for me it was very much part of what made the trip work so well.

I was hugely appreciative of the quality of the experience, Yvette’s professionalism and dedication, and the extraordinary amount of care she puts into making sure everyone has a wonderful time. And, of course, I very much enjoyed the company of our lovely group. A truly memorable trip — and a wonderful way to celebrate a significant birthday.

Wow, this was my first trip with Experium and it certainly won’t be my last!

Visiting Uganda has been a fabulous experience, and I will remember this trip for a very long time. It is a beautiful country full of beautiful people.

We experienced so many wow moments from trekking to see the mountain gorillas in Bwindi to chasing around the African scrublands in search of Lions and leopards and getting close to chimpanzees in their natural habitat, an experience not to be missed. We experienced so much!

Yvette made sure that all our expectations were met with her expert leadership with the help of two great local guides, Jude and Gerald, who were with us the way. The had a wealth of knowledge between them that was second to none.

I gave this trip 5 stars, but this wasn’t enough. It was magical from start to finish. Yvette certainly knows how to organise the perfect trip and I can’t thank her enough. This was an unforgettable experience that went far beyond what I have experienced before with other companies, and I cannot wait to travel with Experium again because I know that it will be amazing!

I have just returned from an amazing 2-week holiday in Uganda organised by Experium Travel. This is my fifth trip with this company (Mongolia, Alaska, and two trips to Greenland). Like the other four trips, the adventure was so well organised, with a detailed itinerary, excellent drivers, guides, and accommodation. It is evident that Yvette, our tour manager, is dedicated to delivering the best experiences she can. The company supported local communities and its obvious Yvette, has spent time building relationships with locals to ensure our experiences exceeded expectations, which they absolutely did. Although trekking to see gorillas was the highlight of this adventure, we experienced numerous highlights along the way. Uganda is so much more than the gorillas. Plenty of other wildlife, including chimpanzees, lions, leopards, hippos, giraffes, rhinos, and birdlife. The groups are small and are ideal for solo travellers. We are all well looked after. I have found my people and the ideal type of holidays for me, at reasonable and competitive prices. I can't wait for the next one!

I've just returned from the most fantastic trip to Uganda with Experium travel. I've done a few safaris before with other companies, but this trip was, put quite simply, above and beyond anything else I've ever experienced in terms of safari/ wildlife viewing holidays. This was a real bucket list trip with unparalleled wildlife viewing, an unrivalled in country team, excellent accommodation and service throughout, a fantastic small group atmosphere ( there were 8 of us- this company specialises in small group experiences), and above all the company director Yvette personally leads every tour and makes sure every small detail is taken care of. Our gorilla trek in Bwindi gave us unparalleled time with these magnificent creatures, and also included was an amazing chimp trek in the Kibale forest, game drives and private boat tours in Queen Elizabeth NP and Murchison falls NP, an up close walk with Rhinos at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary and a nature walk at the Bigodi swamp all with the very best local expert staff and guides. Throughout Uganda we were afforded our dedicated jeep safari vehicles, and with only three people per vehicle we were able to have unparalled opportunities for viewing and photography throughout the tour. It's no wonder that clients book with this company again and again and there is a big demand for future trips. If you are looking for a big tour "bog standard" travel experience then Experium is not for you - but if you are looking for a magical, once in a lifetime trip that really takes you to the heart of the country you are exploring, and gets you to see sights and sounds that other companies just don't do , then look no further than Experium travel- Thank you Experium for a once in a lifetime experience !

Returned recently from yet another excellent trip to Alaska, my 3rd trip this year with Experium Travel. Yvette's itineraries are excellent and well planned. She ensures everything runs smoothly and is very good at resolving any issues. When you travel with Experium, all you have to do is sit back and relax. There never is a dull moment. Every trip done with Experium has been an adventure. One of the best things about travelling with Experium is the group size - maximum 20.

I have recently returned from my second trip of a lifetime this year with Experium Travel, this time to Alaska, and Yvette sure knows the business industry well, she is friendly, clear in her coach commentary, a true leader and leading us through busy airports on route leaving nobody behind is worth her weight in gold, Yvette uses the best guides, coaches, accommodation available which ensures we see the best in wildlife and landmarks alone, we saw so much in Alaska and I highly recommend this trip, from boat trips to amazing rail journeys this trip had it all with a group of just 12 making this our best group ever and I’ve been with Experium a few times now her trips are very addictive with such tempting itineraries

I have recently returned from a trip to Alaska with Experium travel,we were only a small group,but everyone(new friends and old),got on well.
We had 3 flights to get to our final destination Anchorage,athough the long queues at Seattle security made us miss our connection,but with Yvette doing what she does best,we were quickly put on the next flight with the minimum of fuss.
We travelled on a huge coach(4 seats each)from Anchorage onwards to Seaward/Girdwood/Talkeetna/Fairbanks and back to Anchorage.
We also used trains,boats,gondolas,(quad bikes,e bikes,optional)and a lot of walking.
Lots of wildlife along the way,Grizzly bear,Humpback Whales,Sea otters,Eagles,Seals,Moose,Cariboo Dall sheep and much more with stunning scenery in every direction.
All accommodation was good with included breakfast which is always a bonus

Another masterpiece ! I have just returned from visiting Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls, Botswana and and the Okavango Delta.
We saw elephants, zebras, the leopard and many more wild animals and birds. The sun rises and sunsets were spectacular.
The lodges where we stayed were charming and the staff looked after us very well.
Such a privilege to be part of this amazing country for a little while.
I can really recommend this trip with Yvette, Experium Travel Ltd.
