Perry was brilliant! I picked up my new car last week and yesterday I had a tyre pressure alert come up on my left rear. Roadside assistance did a temporary repair and asked me to go and get the tires checked out professionally to ensure everything was ok, so today Perry inspected the car and said I didn’t need any work done. Peace of mind! Brilliant service from Perry and will definitely be back 👍

Car seen same day at short notice for a diagnostic check due to fault light and although no fault was found it was reset and reassuring to have it checked. Also no charge!

Incompetence taken to a new level.
I arrived at 13.30 in Chelmsford, for the pre-arranged appointment to be greeted by a woman who took my name, reg number, locking wheel nut key, asked if it was front/rear fitment, all the expected questions.
I sat in the waiting room, which was cold. By 14.30 my car had not been looked at. At around 14.45, I asked what was going on in regard to my new tyres being fitted. The response was that they 'are short-staffed'. Something that did not look likely by the 8 people (that I saw) milling around the workshop.
2 lads came in with their vans. They then came into the waiting room & had left by the time that I was finally addressed. At which point I was told that the wrong tyres had been sent. To add insult to injury, I was then told that as I had bought from Asda tyres, it was my problem to sort out their problem. By now, I had been freezing in the waiting room for 2 hours. The fitter/manager (now a guy) said the number plate of my (supposed) car, which was wrong. The paperwork had not been checked, and the problem was that this person had not checked if they had the correct paperwork for the correct car, to fit the correct tyres.
I by now am irate that the staff are unable to read simple instruction. The guy/manager then said, did I want my old tyres put back on! After a (by now) 2.15 hour wait to have a stroppy, incompetent tell me that this is obviously not their fault like I had arranged this all.
2.30 hours wasted with a 20-minute job.
Go elsewhere.
Teach staff how to read.
Teach management skills to employees.

Super helpful team. Fitted me in last thing for emergency flat tire inspection- I’d just noticed it on arrival to friend in Chelmsford after driving up from Brighton, and was heading back first thing in the morning so very time-limited.
Problem found and fixed within the hour. I am very grateful. Excellent customer service.

Awful experience. They took almost 2 hours to change 1 tyre, didn't check the other 2 checks it had been booked in for. Eventually checked my wheel alignment and then tried to charge me almost £100 to adjust it. Following that I took it somewhere else and was told one wheel couldn't even be adjusted as the track rod ended needs replacing. They did not inform me of this either. They are rude and make constant excuses. Awful customer sevice. I will not be returning.

Edit - following this a helpful area manager called to apologise and ensure this is looked into.

I was recently over charged at the Chelmsford branch, turns out that they added 35% on the top of local main dealer supplied parts and refused to refund. Had to report to head office to resolve and they did not make it easy.

Came in for a check-up. Didn’t have to wait long and the staff was very friendly.

Waited ONE hour and 20 mins to have ONE TYRE REPLACED! You have to get there 15 mins before appointment!

I telephoned the auto centre this morning in Robjohns road Chelmsford Essex and explained that I needed a diagnostic code readout on my Range Rover evoque 2012 model . I had many warning signs displayed on the screen. ABS and various others plus steering power loss and speedometer not working. They told me to bring it straight in and would carry out tests as soon as they could . Within 3 hours the manager got back with the result and a price to carry out the repair . I agreed and the did the repair . Very pleased with the speed and communication they took to do this job . Very happy with outcome and would certainly recommend them. Thank you to the team . Really fantastic service. Came in a bit of a panic with a noise coming from my wheel, ahead of a long drive. The staff were very friendly and professional, and sorted my problem while I waited. I will definitely be returning.
