Formula One Autocentres - West Quay Avaliações 

I visited the West Quay branch today for an MOT. Booked on line the day before, in and out in an hour. Quality service.

I’ve been using my local Formula One Autocentre (WestQuay road in Southampton) for the past few years for MOT and services and so far I’m happy with the service. They guys there know I’m not car savvy and yet they don’t charge me for unnecessary works. It’s definitely become my go-to garage.

I went to change one of the tyres 🛞 I was well received and great customer service also I want to apologise for mistaking the wrong tyre to change oops 😬 thank you guys it’s second time I went to change my tyres and again definitely recommend to anyone to go here (formula one Autocentres )

Took my car in for a full service and MOT. Prior to the service, there’re no oil pressure warnings or unusual engine noises. However, immediately after car collection, I noticed a new whooshing noise from the engine that was not present before.

The oil pressure red warning light came on the following day, with a driving distance less than 15 miles since MOT and full service. This is a serious issue and made the car feel unsafe to drive.

I checked the oil level myself and found it was below the correct level, which should not happen after a full service and I have photographic evidence of this.

When I sent my car back and raised these issues with the branch manager, the matter wasn’t handled professionally. I was told words to the effect that business can take money from customers in this way, which’s very concerning. I have a recording of this conversation. I communicated back and forth via emails for more than a week and gave them opportunities to resolve this. But they have declined responsibility in writing.

Based on my experience, both the quality of work and the level of customer service are of serious concern. I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution when using this garage.

Have used centre once before for tyres - quick, efficient and excellent VfM. Left with them overnight, tyres ordered in and was able to collected next day. Will be using again in future for both our vehicles.

Booked (online)my daughters car in for MOT as she is at Uni there. Great service and very welcoming for young, lone female. Highly recommended

I took my VW transporter into the Southampton garage as my wheel nuts were done up so tightly a mobile tyre fitter couldn't get them undone.
The guys at Formula one managed to get them undone and didn't even charge me for it.
I will Def be coming back as that is fantastic customer service

Had a puncture on getting back to the car after a cruise. They were just round the corner. Fitted two tyres promptly and they cost less than one tyre with the company I had called that would have come out and done it at the roadside.

I recently had my car's MOT done at this garage, and I am beyond frustrated with the experience. As a young blonde woman, I feel that I was unfairly targeted and taken advantage of. The garage failed my cars MOT, claiming it needed work that, quite frankly, wasn't necessary. It felt like they were just trying to pressure me into paying for repairs that weren’t needed at all.

I decided to take my car to another garage the next day for a second opinion. To my surprise, my car passed the MOT with no advisories at all. This clearly shows that the initial assessment was unjustified, and it’s clear that they were trying to take advantage of me.

I strongly urge others to be cautious when using this garage. It’s disappointing to see such unprofessionalism, especially when people are just trying to get an MOT that’s a legal requirement.

Phoned Southampton branch at 5 past 10 Sunday morning, phoned was answered really quick and the chap offered 2 appointments on the same day.
When I arrived I easily found a parking spot and went into reception where I was greeted by a really pleasant technician who confirmed my booking and took my keys off me(Black X Trail),
The job (wheel alignment ) turned out not to be straightforward but the technician went into great detail explaining to me the problem.
When it was completed the technician explained the printout and was really polite and chatty.
The place was immaculate and tidy and was a very pleasant experience.
I would definitely recommend anyone going there.

I have been very pleased with the service at Southampton West Quay branch,Staff were excellent helpful and did a great job with service and MOT again. I have used them before.I would have given 5 star rating but was not too happy with the cost of spark plugs for my Corsa,£28 each plus vat.Not really a reflection on the service received though. I would recommend them and will certainly be using them again.

I called up to get a puncture repair and was given an appointment straight away. Staff were incredibly accommodating, kind and courteous. The repair was prompt and I was invited to see where and what had caused my puncture. Whilst waiting for the repair I noticed that the garage was packed but all staff remained calm, each customer given efficient service and some staff even gave up some time to chat and give advice when it was asked for. The whole atmosphere was friendly and stress free and I would definitely recommend this garage!

The mechanics and in particular the branch manager were very helpful and mindful of our needs and situation. Work carried out quickly and with consideration and professionalism. I’d highly recommend this chain of garages and in particular, the West Quay, Southampton branch.

Went to have my wheel bearings checked, so the mechanics put my car on the ramp and check for any play or wear. After finding no issue they were honest and said that nothing needed to be done. They did show me an issue with my done of my brake discs. Friendly and quick service.
