My first order was perfect and everyone was very happy. My second order came in and unfortunately I did not check the books before shipping out to family across the country. A month later I was informed that all 20’books were missing pictures on both the front and back inside covers. The company was kind enough to reprint the books for free but I am now saddled with the cost of
Shipping the books again across multiple states to multiple family members. I am saddened that the company would not fully remedy this issue after placing two orders totaling over $3,000. Quality of the print is good. I would just caution you to check each book fully before shipping to others.

I have been a user of The Family Cookbook Project for several years now. I absolutely love it. It was very easy to figure out and I am able to share it with my family to add recipes, or find one they want to make. I keep my old Ipad in the kitchen so I can have my recipes on hand. So convenient!!! You also have the option to have your cookbook printed. I definitely recommend this online Cookbook!!!

Just received our cookbooks and am so pleased and know that the family will love them also! This project was user friendly but more importantly, the people overseeing it were responsive to emails, questions (regardless of how silly), and easy to work with. I have mentioned this concept to several friends who want to organize and keep favorite recipes. This was an excellent experience!

The Family Cookbook Project website has been a great way to collect recipes from multiple family members from as young as 6 to those in their 70s. Everyone loved being able to easily add and edit recipes. Great tool!

Creating our Noble Family Cookbook was a very rewarding project! This cookbook remains a 'goto' for all who have received a copy. I cannot express how pleased I am with the exceptional level of support from the Family Cookbook staff, just outstanding! While gathering recipes for my family cookbook I found out my great Aunt was a cook nun for the Notre Dame order of nuns. When she retired to the convent in Waterdown Ontario she became their baker. I was looking for a way to keep all my recipes digitally organized, easily accessible, with the option to add new recipes as needed and print if so desired. I use this ALL THE TIME! It helps with grocery lists, variety in meal planning, an outlet for creativity, and lets me instantly email a recipe to a friend. Before fully diving into this program I contacted the publishers listing the features I was looking for and asked if they could accommodate - they replied quickly and answered all my questions fully and honestly. One or two features were not available and they were straight forward with me about it, but those options ended up not being as important as I thought. When expressing how much I liked this program to a family member, she decided to buy the lifetime membership for me as a gift as well as a lifetime membership for my sister-in-law. A friend uses a similar program with many nice options, but it does not have an app, so she is limited to using it only when sitting in front of a computer and cannot print it in book format or conveniently share recipes. I really love the FamilyCookbookProject app. I can access my recipes at any time - making a grocery list in the car before going into the store, while planning weekly dinners on my lunch break at work or at a pot luck dinner when someone asks for my recipe.

Getting in and out of the website to add recipes is so convenient. The templates offered for organizing and recording recipes are really useful and well done! I'm glad to have a continual (lifetime) repository for important recipes I want to save for the family. We published our first edition in honor of our first daughter's wedding and gave cookbooks to extended family members and close friends. It included pictures of her wedding. Many of us refer to it often for recipes and get reminded of such a lovely time. I also really enjoy the clever quotes provided by Family Recipe Cookbook. The spiral binding, page dividers, and format look really nice. We hope to collect more recipes and publish another edition when another daughter gets married. Such an awesome idea to be able to hand down to the next generations the recipes treasured by grandparents & great grandparents. I love cooking with my granddaughter now & can't wait to share these treasures with her. Thank you family cookbook for making it easy!

Family Cookbook is a very efficient software program— and my family cookbook is so appreciated by generations of my family! Now I see they have a Family Tree program within the Cookbook Program. I am so anxious to start using it as well.

I have been collecting recipes for our family cookbook for years. I have been saving them using a word processor and printing them for family occasionally. That was expensive and frustrating. We all use our phones/tablets for recipes now so this was the perfect solution.

j it was wonderful! i had bought a cookbook program that was worthless, then i found the family cookbookproject and got started. it works for me! i can pull up the recipe i want, or e-mail one to friends and family. i don't worry at all now about the shape of my piles of recipe cards and notebooks that are old and torn. bless you.

This is an excellent site for families to collaborate and make a cookbook.

The website may not be flashy or have the latest in HTML 5 eye candy but it is specifically designed for one purpose: to help your family or group collaborate on a cookbook. Inviting collaborators is as easy as putting in their email and users can easily enter the recipies. Recipes are automatically formatted and easily categorized. As you make the book, an index is automatically updated.

You can publish your cookbook on the site or download a PDF of it free of charge. The boilerplate formatting is more will probably satisfy 95% of users, but you can change fonts, create custom pages, upload artwork (color or black and white), and customize as much as you want. Communications features are robust, making it easier to get your family or group to participate. To top it off, customer support is excellent.

This is about as effortless as it might be to create a collaborative cookbook. Highly recommended.

This was probably the BEST thing I ever purchased from Groupon, it gave me the opportunity to share with my family and friends some tried and true recipes. Some recipes were from relatives that are no longer with us, and through this book they live on. The website, once you got the hang of it was pretty simple and it really didn’t take long to figure it out. The staff at the Cookbook Project were extremely helpful, courteous and prompt in returning my questions. My husband and family are so proud of me for doing this, but not as proud as I am of myself. We are a family that does, Sunday, Birthday and Holiday dinners (mostly at my house) so to be able to share these recipes was gratifying, (maybe someone else can do them). In closing I would like to say that I have a niece that does NOT cook since receiving her copy she has used three different recipes, I’m so proud of her. Thank you for the most fulfilling project ever.

I used the Family Cookbook Project website to create a neighborhood cookbook to use during the pandemic. It was so easy to use and enter in the recipes. I liked how I could customize it with choosing fonts, layouts, and cover design. Great website to use if looking to create a custom cookbook.
