The team at Fieldfisher are very experienced in medical negligence and provide an excellent customer experience - kind, caring, pro-active and professional with clear communication, and an ability to explain complex issues simply and straightforwardly. My father was diagnosed with asbestos related mesothelioma in 2024. The hospital gave us a list of solicitors and firms to claim compensation. Peter, was so kind and understanding when he came to see my father at home to get the process started. He has always been contactable, he answered every question my father had as well as us as a family. My father did not live long enough to receive his compensation but Peter helped us as a family to get justice for him. Could not rate him and the company highly enough!

We instructed Field Fisher nearly 3 years ago now for a medical negligence case against the hospital where our baby boy Zachary passed away. Fieldfisher came highly recommended to us by the charity “4Louis,” which is close to our hearts and one they support. As a family, we fought tirelessly for justice for our baby girl Lottie, and we achieved it in the coroner’s court, where neglect was found. Initially, we were determined to handle the legal claim on our own, but the process quickly became overwhelming and stressful.

We live in the North East of England, and Fieldfisher is based in London, but distance never made a difference. From the moment we spoke to Christina, everything changed. Her natural calming and caring demeanor immediately put us at ease. She showed incredible compassion and empathy, making us feel heard and understood during such a difficult time. No one ever wants to find themselves in the position of losing a child, especially through neglect, but if you do, we cannot recommend Christina and Fieldfisher enough. The support they provide is invaluable during such a painful and challenging time. They really help lift the weight of the legalities, which in turn helps alleviate some of the immense stress. Was directed to them by Thorntons, a law firm specialising in sensitive historic cases as this company would have offices closer to me.
The switchboard lady had no listening skills, was rude, didn't understand me, couldn't follow the conversation and was dismissive. I gave up after being on hold not feeling she understood me or cared. Dismissive and unfeeling.
An incredibly disheartening experience for someone who took time to build the courage to reach out.

This firm have overcharged me. I have asked on several occasions for an invoice and breakdown on costs without success. I believe this unscrupulous firm is false accounting and unlawful. I will be reporting them to the SRA as well as the FCA and Trading Standards

Fieldfisher's handling of my case has been nothing short of disappointing. Despite providing a comprehensive rebuttal to, which clearly outlined the high-value nature of my claim, including a permanent criminal record and the destruction of my intended NHS career, they have chosen to dismiss it without proper reconsideration. Their initial rejection was based on flawed assumptions about the value of my claim and the difficulty of proving causation due to my "underlying illness." These assumptions were directly addressed in my rebuttal, yet their follow-up response from the Partner lacked any substantive feedback or acknowledgment of the new information provided.

This response is legally unsatisfactory. It fails to engage with the merits of the case or provide any basis for the continued rejection. For a firm of Fieldfisher's reputation, this level of oversight is unacceptable, especially when dealing with a case that has such significant and life-altering implications. It seems they are trying to avoid the complexity and potential liability, which is both unprofessional and disappointing. The lack of transparency and engagement in their process is concerning, and it raises questions about their commitment to justice and their ability to handle complex cases.

I would advise potential clients to be cautious when considering Fieldfisher for complex cases. Their approach suggests a willingness to overlook the details and the potential impact of a case, which could be detrimental to those seeking justice.

An amazing result in supporting myself and family to secure and Article 2 Inquest into my brother's death. A very difficult and sensitive case, which Natalie Amara and her team dealt with professionally. The empathy, compassion and guidance that was shown to our family, was incredible and invaluable! Natalie went above and beyond, to ensure we were fully informed at all times, nothing was to much trouble. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Natalie Amara, she is amazing!

I would personally not use this firm. Based on my experience, I believe they do not prioritize listening to clients. It appeared to me that their focus was on taking on cases that were almost certain to succeed—rather than providing clear guidance and client care.
My last email to them (addressed to Jamie) was never responded to, and I can provide proof of this. This lack of communication left me feeling that profit was the main priority rather than supporting clients. Don’t be fooled by appearances—this is my honest opinion.

Further Details
I found their response unhelpful and unclear. I received an email stating that no assistance would be available, without any explanation. When I emailed back asking for the reason and logic behind this decision, I never received a reply. I then consulted other solicitors who explained the details of my case clearly and professionally. Based on that, I would advise others to take note of my experience and form their own judgment.

Update
Fieldfisher requested that this review be removed on the basis that it was defamatory. I strongly disagree, as I am simply sharing my experience and opinion. If they had called me to discuss my concerns, perhaps this review would not exist. Instead of trying to silence feedback, I believe they could learn from it and improve customer service and follow-up.

I had an excellent experience with Field Fisher when I instructed them to act on my behalf. Having worked for various Law Firms, I must say their way of working is extremely efficient. They would phone when agreed. Send emailed documents when they said they would. They have empathy and compassion, this I find a lot of employees don’t have and I feel is a necessity. I have no complaints at all. They went above and beyond. Highly recommend. My contact was Jamie Green. If more companies worked like this, life would be a lot less stressful. Fantastic team. They could not do enough in a case of medical negligence involving my brother. His Solicitor Lindsay Holt and his KC James Rowley were able to secure a substantial settlement from the NHS. We were fully informed through the long protracted process.

By far the worst solicitors for personal/medical negligence. I tried these myself and they weren't interested yet another solicitor got me in the region of 6 figure sum. They've just turned their noses up at another case clearly NHS at fault, wow, you must be thriving on no work. Wouldn't use these for any medical negligence, they clearly do not do their homework.

Field Fisher are legally supporting an administration company, James Cowper Kreston.
There is some doubt of ownership of an asset over which I claim full title.
I am awaiting on a ruling on these claims which first came to light last October.
As I am affected in a 6 figure sum it is taking a long time to get any resolution.
