Had good service in the past, but very bad service now. Orders not dispatched, not responding to emails. Had to go to my bank to get my money back.

I have ordered filter from it. I found that my home water pressure cannot use it and return it. They have received the filter. Don't hope that you can get refund easily. They use different excuse such as payment system problem, manual procedure problem and etc to not pay you back the money. Lastly, they ask for your bank account information and then disappear. I have issued a dispute through my bank. Really hope to get back my money. I have waited for over 1 month.

I brought a great entry-level filter kit from Finerfilters, and it was delivered fast, at a great price, and was easy to install. So I can recommend that in that fashion.

Very disappointing service

I had a subscription for a water filter cartridge. Fine Filters took the payment on the scheduled date, but the filter never arrived and I received no communication from them.

After several weeks, I contacted them myself and was told the filter was out of stock but was expected in a few days. Several more weeks passed, yet the filter still hadn’t arrived and there was again no communication.

Nearly two months after the original payment, I still had no filter and had heard nothing from Fine Filters. I have now cancelled both the order and the subscription and requested a refund.

I understand that stock issues can happen, but the lack of communication and the length of time taken to resolve the issue are very disappointing. I shouldn’t have had to repeatedly chase an order that had already been paid for.

I would not recommend subscribing unless Fine Filters significantly improves its communication and fulfilment.

Faulty Osmosis System - 4 Stage Reverse Osmosis System 50GPD for Under Sink Domestic.

I attended a property to carry out a routine filter change on this system, following the manufacturer's instructions exactly as published on their website. After reassembling and testing, the pressure was filling very slowly. I called customer service, who advised this was normal for an osmosis system and the tank would just take time to refill. I passed this on to the client and asked them to update me the next day.

The following day, the client had no water at all, and the tank was completely empty. I called customer service again, but they weren't able to offer any useful diagnosis. I ended up manually checking around 20 fittings myself to trace the fault, and found the cause was a failed non-return elbow.

The system is only two years old. When I called for a replacement part, I was told it was outside their "roughly one year" warranty period - a vague timeframe that suggests either no clear warranty policy exists, or the person I spoke to simply wasn't trained on it. The part itself is a small elbow that sells for £15 for a pack of 10 on trade plumbing sites; I was charged £5.40 for a single one. The cost isn't the issue- it's that a premium-priced filtration system has such a weak failure point, paired with customer service that couldn't properly support a fault they should recognise.

Had they simply sent the part as a goodwill gesture given the circumstances, this wouldn't have needed to become a negative review.

From a technical/installer's perspective: this unit isn't reliable, the pipework becomes a mess under the sink, and it's simply too bulky to be well-suited for a standard kitchen under-sink installation.

I ordered a 6 stage filter system and 3 way tap around 2 weeks ago they got my postcode wrong as I ordered on the phone and the tap came with no instructions and the fitting to tighten to sink was unstandard size luckily I was able to get 14mm box spanner to tighten but the company was not helpful also the drain clamp was not the correct size and when I called to ask for a size that worked they said they would send one out I called the next day to see what day it would come and they said they didn't have it and I would have to go to a plumbing supplier. I have been wrestling around with this tap and system for about 2 weeks and still haven't got it up and running yet. Overall not a great experience and lacking customer service from this company

Never buy from them ordered a filter with 3 way tap, cost me a whole load of money. Now the tap arrived in a box appears to be used before or returned faulty. There was a missing connection tube as well. Their refund and return policy is horrible. It is a mistake ordering from them avoid.

We have had 2 floods in our kitchen after water filters under the the kitchen sink have cracked! Really scary and devastating. Their water filters are clearly not fit for purpose and I’d hate for others to have to go through similar flooding situations 😩
We will never fit any products from them again.

Finer filters did not provide the size of the flexible hose fitting for the expensive tap that I bought. This resulted in buying twice adaptors that did not fit as it was not a standard size. They then asked me to measure the flexible hose fitting of a product that they sold!

I have bought a few gravity ceramic filters over a few years now and have always found the quality of Newton Filters which Finerfilters sell very good. However recently I bought two which were obviously faulty and the company sent out two other sets which were also faulty. Undeterred, they went out of their way to help me get a good set of filters in time for my holiday. Things in life can go wrong, but the metal of a company is how they rectify that problem. 5 stars for customer service

Long term customer now leaving for another provider.
One of our filters broke making the other one redundant as both need to be changed at the same time.
Just spoke to the mist dismissive, disinterested, man at FinerFilters, who was only interested in repeating himself and cutting me dead. Patronising, dismissive and frankly rude.
Will not be dealing with this company again

I have used Finer Filters several times over the last 5 years. I had them recommended to me and I have recommended them to my family and friends. We have ALL been happy with the products and service so I am genuinely surprised by the number of negative reviews and can't help wondering whether they are all genuine. I have always received my orders promptly, been updated by email, good quality products and reasonable pricing. We have moved house recently so have just reordered my favourite filtration system from FF for the new kitchen. As usual, no problems. My order was received promptly. On the occasions I have made direct contact with FF they have been super helpful. I had a really positive phone call today that prompted me to leave this review. I spoke with Anthony as I was unclear what tubing I needed to connect my new filtration system with a new tap that I had ordered elsewhere. Anthony took the time to look up my tap online, work out what I needed and completed the order there and then over the phone. It is such a rare and pleasant luxury in this dehumanising day and age of 'online chat' and bots (or simply no customer service) to be able to pick up the phone, speak to a human being, explain my issue and for them to be pleasant, professional and patiently solve the problem for me. Thank you so much Anthony for your help today.
Also, another review on behalf of one of my friends that has used Finer Filters for many years: He is 90 years old and doesn't do 'online' so he phones them up for a chat, tells them what he needs. They always take good care of him. He is a hard man to please but always loves the service from Finer Filters! :)
Thank you Finer Filters for providing an excellent service and much needed high quality products.

There Sediment 5 micron filter only has one picture of item and looked like the push fit one but when arrived it is complete different fitting they are not sending free return label even when their photo is misguided your better off buying from ebay or amazon same price or cheaper with free returns dont use these as misguiding.
Also there is another feedback here saying they only lasted 2 weeks and limescale was showing their very bad anyway let alone their advertising picture

Avoid! they do not cover costs of postage when you ask for a refund.
if you order something and do not want it any longer, they will not pay for postage.

Problem is constantly Recieveing emails even after unsubscribing several times. Ended up adding to spam. What a shame as I was going to purchase filters every 6 months
But don't need the hassle!!

I have bought from them Inline Softening Resin Water Filter for Limescale and Hardness Removal for just £11.99 but after 2 weeks this stopped to do the job and limescale came back. At the time I wrote review on their website with honest opinion says that 11.99 just for two weeks is expensive solution but after reviewing my opinion they decided to not add it on their website. This means they only let positive reviews to be added on their website. After not even 1 year We had disaster at our brand new renovated kitchen. The filter casing cracked and leak was so big that we have nearly lost thousands of pound as everything was flooded with water. Thanks to quick reaction we have saved a lot. I can't even imagine what could have happened if we wasn't at home ...
I regret there is no option on trustpilot to add the pictures as I wish everyone could see what happened.

I recently bought a booster pump for my reverse osmosis filter from Finerfilters, and the next-day delivery was a real advantage. The pump works very well, filling my tank in about 25 minutes instead of nearly 2 hours with the previous one. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.

Excellent service who replaced a whole Tap assembly for missing 2 small parts in very short time.
This was an installation upgrade to replace their 5 filter model which had given good service for many. years and is still very serviceable.
Highly recommended.

Don’t recommend it for anyone keep doing mistake with the order and they just good to say apologies each time

Finerfilters press button chrome water spout 

I purchased this, online, because the water spout was exactly what I needed to provide a fresh water supply for cleaning teeth and for drinking water in a bathroom. I have 2 cold water feeds, one for handwashing as it was from a water storage tank and the other off the mains for teeth cleaning etc.
When I received this, I really liked the quality, however I was in no real hurry to install it as the bathroom was still in the design & construction stage. So, when I was ready,

Initially, I emailed, was told they don't have any connections to a 22mm BSP. So, I telephone and explained it need not be to 22mm BSP fitting, but I needed to be able to connect to bottom of the threaded shaft of the fountain which had a 6mm compression joint, but with no olive supplied. I asked for suitable connections to finally  connect to 1/2 inch BSP threaded connection. I was completely blanked out by their representative, and even though l explained exactly what I needed, the person I spoke to was extremely unhelpful and didn't want to know. 

I am not a novice at plumbing, but as consequence of the lack of help from fine filters I have now spent 3 months trawling the Internet & visiting plumbing suppliers trying to find suitable connections. I found a motorhome builder who spent time trying to assemble plumbing items, and when he was unable to do it, he suggested trying a hydraulic company.  An agricultural vehicle parts specialist also spent time researching solutions. and was able to supply an olive for the compression joint for just 59p! I have now assembled the four items that are needed to connect the fountain to my sink, but no thanks at all to fine filters who have been no help whatsoever!
