I have been a first tech member for many decades back from the days when they were HP credit union, recently I received a very nice gift the teller are always friendly and she noticed I was having a tough time walking after my latest surgery the very nice memory foam knee pillow and a nice note you might think after 19 knee surgeries I would have one I did not, it is very comfortable, the fact that the customer service is and always has been excellent friendly smiles and a little conversation if not two busy, always asking if there was anything else they can help with, this was above and beyond and very much appreciated I wish I could give a higher score Sincerely Ed B

My wife, Jill, and I have been members since 1989, and I can honestly say we have had the most professional and courteous experience in our dealings with First Tech. I will also state that not one mistake in all that time, that I can remember, with any of the several accounts we have at First Tech.
I'm very impressed by that!
We have recommended many friends, family, and constituents, many of whom are members. We continue to do so to this day.
As I finish up with this review, I would like to once again acknowledge Carrie Peel for her help assisting me in getting very important and very private documents notarized over the last year. She understands what she does very well, and I trust her confidentiality with regards to these documents. I look forward to her assistance once again in the near future. It’s not often I hear customer service personnel reiterate what they just heard to ensure that there isn’t a misunderstanding. Thank you, Shelley.
I called 1st Tech Payment Services concerning an automatic transfer payment and was transferred to Member Service. A week ago I had gone to the local First Tech office to deal with auto transfer payment initiated many years ago. I had the existing auto transfer deactivated in order to set up auto transfer online. Thru a misunderstanding, the auto transfer was reactivated and a subsequent request was made to change the auto transfer amount.
Meanwhile my phone service became quirky and internet service was down for several days. Today I received an email that my automatic payment request expired. What payment request expired? The change in payment amount? Is the initial auto payment active or not? If I set up auto transfer payment online, will there be two different transfers?
One call to member service was sufficient to take care of the issue.
I don't see Hillsboro Member services listed in locations:

It was a great experience for me because I left the branch accomplishing something that I thought would take a whole billing cycle to get done. I needed to change my auto loan pull date to a future date quickly and this really great guy at the counter said he could make this happen. By the fourth day I new he was able to change dates for me, it gave me an extra week of finances to get caught up. He also said First Tech was a easy credit union to work for and much easier to bank with which makes his job easier and suggested I join :) Thank you for all the quick help, Stacy
