Really pleased with the service from FixMyGHDs - I researched a lot of companies and was a bit nervous about sending my GHDs off into the unknown. It was hard to find anyone who fixes GHD Golds & those I did find were charging really high prices, but FixMyGHDs seemed to do them for the same price as all other models. There’s a mobile number on their website which you can text to ask questions, so I text to confirm they do Gold & don’t charge extra & they got back to me right away to confirm, so I gave them a shot. Really, really pleased I went with them. They fixed them, cleaned them & PAT tested them, sent me an email with details of what they’d done and sent them back quickly. My GHDs are good as new now & the price was the best I could find.
Would definitely use them again :)

What a terrific service - my partner's GHDs had packed in - 5 beeps and wouldn't heat up - so I was looking online for a solution and happened across this company.

Booking and sending was easy, communication about the fix superb, as was the return delivery. The price too was exactly as stated, with no hidden extras.

So we've saved hundreds of pounds, and saved another device going into landfill.

I wish more companies were doing this sort of thing - very highly recommended

I would highly recommend fixmyghds to anybody. The repair process was really easy & very quick. I received a text message back almost immediately and sent photos. I posted my hairdryer off on the Friday and received a message saying it was fixed & been posted on the following Monday & got it back on the Tuesday. Truly exceptional service and really excellent value for money. I cannot fault their service & will definitely be using them again when needed

Absolutely outstanding service from start to finish. I was dubious about going for a repair at such a reasonable price however after reading the 5* reviews I gave it a go . And I must say I was shocked just how good it was it was quick efficient and cleaned and pat tested as well , what can you buy for that money these days ? Not even second hand ghds 😂 anyway thank you … amazing company

Such a fantastic service! This is the second time I have used this company. I sent them off as one arm had a crack in it and the cable was a dangerously twisted mess with exposed wires from my daughter's nightly curling routine. The turnaround is always quick and efficient and the replacement of parts means our old straighteners are like new again and have many more years left in them. I'm so glad I didn't spend out on a brand new pair! Thank you so much!

All I can say is what an amazing service! At the beginning I was sceptical because I didn't know anyone who had used a service like this before. If you are in in any doubt, put it out of your mind. I sent my GHDS on the Monday and received them back on the Thursday, fixed and working beautifully! For £45 all in (as I paid more to send them tracked delivery), I can safely say I am thrilled! I didn't want to buy a new pair because of the reports of the quality of new GHDs not being that great and I love mine as they are. Highly recommend Fix My GHDs and a big thank you to Mike and Robert for a speedy and professional service. 5 stars.

After looking at the reviews I thought I’d give this company a try as my straightener's had stopped working and I’m glad I did. Got them back within the week, and only pay around £35. Would defo recommend them, great service, thank you!

I just want to say what a great service this! I was scrolling through the web thinking I had to buy new GHDs, as mine randomly stopped working, when I happen to stumble across this website, and I’m so glad I did. I honestly thought my straighteners were beyond repair (I’ve had them since 2014!) and fully prepared myself to spend over £200 on new ones! But mine were fixed and with P&P only cost me £40!! I sent them off on Friday and they were returned to me by the Thursday! If you’re apprehensive or worried don’t be! I cannot recommend these guys enough

I was very sceptical as GHD as a company seem to imply that GHD's are too expensive to be repaired and you end up buying a new pair. When my GHD's broke they were only 3-4 years old but a pair I did not use frequently so disappointing and GHD told me that the fault (which was the heating plate) would be too expensive to replace and offered me 15% on a new pair as a solution. Financially and also out of principal I really did not want to purchase a new pair but also I do use a pair every day and they are my favourite brand. I found this website and thought it was worth a try. The communication was great, the turnaround was fantastic and the repair was brilliant, I ended up getting my older pair also repaired. It has been a few months now and I am so impressed and so happy to have found this company who I can highly recommend. Thanks for a really genuine service.

Quick and clear communication throughout the whole process. Speedy turnaround, as advertised. Repaired my GHDs and explained what they'd done. Delivered safely back to me. All as advertised on their website. I am a very satisfied customer and would recommend them to anyone considering using them. Very well priced compared to buying a new pair of GHDs and better for the environment, not adding to landfill! No scams or extra charges made. When my Platinum plus GHDs stopped heating up and were only just out of their 3 year warranty, I wasn't happy . But I found Fix my ghds online , they had excellent reviews , so I decided to give them a try.
The step by step instructions were easy to follow , I had an email once they were fixed , and I received them by 2 days later, they were cleaned ,and looked like new.
For £34.99 ,, I now have my GHDs working again , and with a 3 month warranty.
I'd definitely recommend.
