If you’re ever thinking about having veneers, please use Fix my smile! I have the biggest fear of dentist’s after having so many bad experiences, but after visiting the London clinic, I felt at ease as soon as I walked through the door.
They were so clear and walked me through each step of the process and was so patient with me.
I’ve always had bad teeth and trained myself to talk with my mouth closed for years but now I can’t stop smiling and showing my new teeth off!
Big shoutout to Dr Mehdi who is just amazing, friendly, supportive and has given me my confidence back!

I’ve had my teeth done around 11 months ago, and it one of my teeth has chipped and this is unknown why .. I contacted FMS today, and by the end of the day I had a replacement veneer ordered, and FOC fitting and replacement - truly remarkable!

I have wanted veneers for a few years but couldn’t justify the UK prices and had concerns about travelling abroad and having my teeth over filed. I saw FMS on social media and at first was sceptical, but I decided to book a consultation in London. The experience was great. Dental staff were friendly, clear about the stages of treatment, answered any questions and I decided to proceed. The minimal prep was done at this appointment and I chose the veneer design and colour. I went back a few weeks later and the veneers were fitted. The appointment was 2.5 hours and the dentist took great care to ensure space for flossing between each tooth and that the bite was right. Cleaning was undertaken before during and after the treatment, and advice given to care for the veneers. I’m so happy with them and can’t stop smiling. Thank you FMS!

I’ve just been to fix my smile in Maida Vale and I’m so far really really happy.
I was so nervous and honestly the dentists were incredible. I can honestly it it was pain free, they listen to exactly what you want and they allowed me to tweak my designs.
I LOVE my new teeth, a few people have said they are the best they have seen.
They also look really natural aswell.

Great experience

I got 20 emax veners done and from start to finish they was amazing had such a good experience they made me feel so comfortable and made sure they got me in before my birthday and went above and beyond ! I am so happy with my smile and got so many compliments about how natural and amazing they look would deffo recommend x

My treatment was done by Jamal and Dr Al Hussieny (I’m so sorry if I’ve spelled your name incorrectly!)

The treatment was extensive and included root canal treatment, filling, crowns and veneers to fix my upper arch which was very much in a bad way!

The guys were brilliant all through the treatment, explained everything that was happening, addressed any concerns and just generally made me feel comfortable as I was pretty anxious going into it at the start!

Can’t thank them enough as their work has completely transformed my smile from the mess it was in and I’ll definitely be back in time for more treatment.

I decided to go with FMS after seeing their social media posts and reading on their website that they offered a three-year warranty on most issues while priding themselves on excellent aftercare. Unfortunately, that hasn't been my experience, despite numerous attempts to resolve my concerns directly with Dr Alawy and his son via WhatsApp.

First appointment -

My first appointment went well. My teeth were prepared and the decay was removed. At the time, I believed this was part of the normal process. I was told I would receive a deep clean at my next appointment before my veneers were fitted. I was also advised that I would receive a "trial smile" to approve before the veneers were manufactured and fitted within two weeks.

Everyone I dealt with was friendly, and I left feeling confident about the treatment.

Between my first and second appointments -

The first thing that surprised me was being sent Dr Alaway's personal bank details to make payment. I wasn't expecting this, and it made me feel slightly uneasy.

I was then sent two different "trial smile" designs. On both occasions, I explained that they weren't the aesthetic I was looking for and asked for amendments in line with the specifications I had requested. When I received the third design, I couldn't see any noticeable difference from the previous two.
Within minutes of the third design being sent to me, I was told the lab had already manufactured my veneers, despite me not having approved the final design. I found this disappointing, but I was reassured that any further adjustments could be made after they were fitted and was told to "trust the process." In my experience, this did not prove to be the case.

During this period, I was also experiencing significant pain and sensitivity.

Fitting appointment -

At my fitting appointment, I did not receive the deep clean I had previously been told I would have and that had been taken into consideration in the pricing.

Once the veneers were fitted, I noticed the shade wasn't what I had requested and did not resemble the shade I had selected based on examples shown on their social media. The shape also differed significantly from what I had asked for. Although it wasn't my preferred shape, I decided not to make a major issue of the shape because I still thought it looked acceptable overall.

Shortly after, I noticed a black triangle between my teeth that hadn't been there before, and the pain and sensitivity I had been experiencing spread into my jaw.

After speaking to another dentist about my symptoms, I was advised that, in their opinion, X-rays should have been taken before proceeding with treatment, given the amount of decay that had been removed, to check for any underlying issues. They explained that X-rays are generally considered the gold standard before irreversible dental treatment. FMS later told me they would carry out an X-ray at my follow-up appointment, but this did not happen.

Aftercare -

Since my fitting, I have spent four weeks trying to resolve my concerns regarding the shade, sensitivity and the black triangle, but without success. I've repeatedly had to chase for updates, and on several occasions I was told someone would get back to me on a specific day, but they didn't. The protective shields that were sent to me also don't fit.

The level of aftercare I have experienced has been very different from what I felt was portrayed on the company's website and social media.

As a result, I am now going to have to escalate this through the appropriate external channels due to what I believe has been a continued failure to properly address my concerns as I am not receiving any response from Dr Alawys son via WhatsApp. I would encourage anyone considering cosmetic dental treatment to do thorough research and ensure they fully understand the process before proceeding, particularly where the treatment is irreversible.

Beyond the physical discomfort, this experience has had a significant impact on my confidence. I chose veneers to improve my smile and feel more confident, but instead I've been left feeling anxious, self-conscious and constantly worrying about the appearance of my teeth and the ongoing pain. It's incredibly upsetting to invest so much money and trust in an irreversible procedure, only to feel worse than I did beforehand.

This review reflects my personal experience with FMS. My one-star rating is primarily due to the aftercare I have received and what I perceive to be their reluctance to resolve the issues I've raised. If they respond constructively and provide an acceptable resolution, I will happily update this review to reflect that.

I travelled 3.5 hours to fix my smile and can’t thank them enough for how amazing my veneers look! Amazing price compared to most others in the UK, really make you feel at ease and want to give you the best smile possible!
