We exhibited at the Disaster Expo - overall a really good show. Plenty of decision makers and busy. Negative was that we got one of the last booths so we were in a less than ideal location near the ba... Ver mais

My account manager is really helpful
My account manager is really helpful and efficient. Well-organised for the show preparation. We would like to take part in Natural Disaster Expo in the next year as well. Thanks!
1 star because I can't give 0 stars
1 star because I can't give 0 stars! The worst company I ever worked for. They are unprofessional and treat employees like kids! They expect us to lie to clients, just to get them to sign up for tickets. They do not adhere to contractual agreements with employees. They just simply don't care for these employees. If you working for this company, I would highly reconsider as you'll be shooting yourself in the foot!
We have had a great experience with…
We have had a great experience with Fortem Intl. The team there is responsive and has given great customer service.
My Account Management team has been fantastic!
My Account Management team for the Disasters Expo in Miami has been very attentive and responsive to all our needs in the run up to the show. I've appreciated how well they've helped us stay organized and on track with our planning process. I've enjoyed and appreciated the attention they have given our organization.
Helpful employees.
I look forward to attending next year!
We exhibited at the Disasters Expo in Anaheim and had a very successful event. We met many interested potential clients and obtained good leads at the show. The pre organisation was fantastic. I look forward to attending next year!
Never attend Fortem's conferences!!!
This company invited me for a conference in Miami. I am flying from the Philippines. So, I bought my tickets and planned my trip early. Two months before the event date, they said that they would need to reschedule the event to Vegas by 2024 because of low audience pool in Miami. The date and situation aren't no longer feasible for me to reschedule my trip so I have to cancel. They insisted that I signed a contract.
The best part is that they're not ashamed to collect for the remaining payments which I agreed for a booth in Miami and NOT in Vegas. Terrible customer service, too! Please do not ever attend their conferences. They are notorious in cancellations and re-organizing. I wonder how they have become an organizing company when they can't organize themselves enough.
Please be careful when engaging with The White Label Expo
I experienced every negative interaction that people have listed in their reviews. With my review, I want to provide a roadmap to navigate the unpleasant, intimidating, and borderline unlawful experiences with White Label Expo and Fortem International. I am providing guidance to other small businesses that may encounter similar situations and how to navigate them.
Phrases You Will Hear:
* "I moved an important meeting to take this call."
-- Be cautious when you hear this phrase. It's used to create a sense of urgency, but it does not necessarily indicate genuine interest or commitment.
* "We are completely sold out, but we've made room for you. We are converting an office on the show floor for your booth."
-- Be cautious when offered last-minute accommodations. They are trying to make you feel special and to move quickly on the opportunity.
* "We thought we were further along in conversations."
-- This phrase might be used to pressure you into making quick decisions. Ensure that all commitments and terms are clearly defined in writing before proceeding.
* They will offer you easy stuff like as many badges as you want.
-- While extra perks can be enticing, don't let them distract you from verifying the core commitments and benefits outlined in your agreement. Ensure that the essentials are delivered as promised.
"The Contract:"
* This is no more than a terms and conditions sheet.
-- Don't be misled by the term "contract." Ensure that you thoroughly review and understand the terms and conditions, seeking legal counsel if necessary.
* They will ensure you do not have a copy of it.
-- Insist on having a copy of any agreement you sign. A lack of transparency regarding the contract should raise red flags.
* IF they make specific promises, have them ALL outlined in the letter
-- Do not let any promise be made by a verbal commitment. Make sure that they have to spell out everything in writing
Key Observations:
* Disappearing Act: After you've signed any form of letter or agreement, be prepared for a decrease in communication from their side. They may make excuses when they start responding, and they will start deflecting to other employees so there is no one narrative or contact.
* Relentless Payment Requests: They may aggressively pursue payment, using intimidation tactics and fear to create a sense of urgency. Remember that you have rights and options.
Actions to Take:
* Write a Clear Termination Notice: If you encounter issues or unfulfilled commitments, write a clear termination notice detailing the reasons for termination. Ensure it covers the specifics of any misleading statements, unmet promises, or misrepresentation.
* Save All Communication: Preserve all communication, including emails, messages, and recorded phone conversations, with the involved parties. These records can serve as valuable evidence in case of disputes or legal actions.
* Join the Legal Battle
Conclusion:
Please proceed with caution, if you choose to proceed at all. This negative experience has taken up the last 3 months of my time. I hope that this review and roadmap help you make a better decision before going into business with them and saves you 3 months of time.
SCAM
As all other reviews.
They give you a document saying is not binding and just as a manifestation of interest. When you say you are not interested anymore they send you invoice and credit recovery emails. Never payed and nothing happened.
If you need to testify against them I would be glad to do it so please contact me.
Shady and scam bait emails
Shady and scam bait emails, if you click a link they'll remember you until the heat death of the universe or until you site-block their domain and that of all their affiliates.
This company will relentlessly bombard you with come-ons for possibly real events that you need to buy tickets to or other services that you do not want. I perish to even think of what would happen if you actually gave them your personal information or a payment card.
Beware He know set up his new scam…
Beware He know set up his new scam ticktaxi airport transfer service in Bristol supposedly
BEWARE - Exhibition Con Artists
They Call and talk you through 'securing' a booth for a show that is sold out but they've managed to make room for your booth - absolute lies. They walk you through a form in Docusign where they reassure you over and over that you are just confirming your company information and what booth you are looking for. 'Just make sure everything looks correct and then select the SIGN HERE button at the bottom.' Once the button is selected, the file closes. Within one day you start receiving a bombardment of emails and calls demanding payment in full. Confused, you try to find any information on what is going on. The booth form now shows information that was added after you signed - FALSIFIED DOCUMENTATION AND SIGNATURE FORGERY. Suddenly there are payment due dates for the very next day after you've reviewed this document. There's also an entirely new second page with unreasonable terms and conditions. You're not crazy, YOU NEVER SAW THIS OR SIGNED FOR IT. The signature is forged as it is not a verified, docusign signature. It does not go through the multi-step process of a Docusign signature and therefore is forged. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE CRIMINALS. Prysm Group, Fortem Flood, Fortem-International, Fortem NDE, Fortem Food, Fortem Drink, Fortem ET, Fortem White Label, etc etc.
If I could give negative stars
If I could give negative stars, I would! Where do I even start? I was reached out to participate in the White Label Expo 2023. I was quite excited to participate. After I paid my first invoice, it was disaster after disaster. I had 4-5 account managers come & go and one worse than the other. There was absolutely no communication about what needs to be done and shouldn't do. I was promised "match-making service" with other retailers, businesses who may be interested in this service. I promise, NONE of this happened. They also promised a crowd of 45,000 and I'm not even kidding, there were MANY businesses that did not even show up!! There were empty booths and I have a strong feeling as to why.
Towards the end, another account manager reached out to us, who was actually helpful, until he wasn't. Even before the White Label Expo in Las Vegas started, this rep reached out asking if I would be interested for the same event in 2024. I told him, I wouldn't know until after this event. Over the call, I was pressured into signing a "contract", to just secure a spot (the best spot) and if I wasn't interested, I could always cancel within the 2 weeks period. I canceled over the phone but internally they didn't cancel it. I then kept getting badgered to pay my invoices by this "credit control manager" Simon Lynden. The absolute worse human being, who has zero empathy and customer service skills.
Not surprised that this is a 100% fraudulent company that focuses on small businesses to guilt trap them into paying ridiculous amount of money, because they canceled and don't want to participate anymore. They are making money by scamming & threatening small businesses to pay up.
Please do NOT pay any money if they threaten you. That's what they do. They will also threaten to send you to 3rd party collection agency. Please report them to Nevada & your state of residence's Attorney General Office.
Think a million times
Please think before even Joining them..They are open to job posts.
The Ang mo kia boss is damn rude and loves using the 4 letter word even while conducting the interview.who does that in an interview??? Not professional at all..Its easy to get employed as I believe employees don't stay long..I've never come across such a company. simply a waste of Time.
SCAMMERS
I got contacted by them after attending one of their events which was pointless. i have been to fair better ones than this. the guy called me and offered me an interest into booking a stand he then said its only a quotation, he then gave me rough estimates on the how much it would cost and then transferred me to the CEO who then wanted me to enter my name via Docusign so i have my copy of the quote. during that call i was being rushed and put on the spot wasnt able to ask questions. i then found out they have signed me up on a unfair terms and conditions b2b contract. at no point on that call did he mention it is a contract and i have also requested them to cancel everything as i am within 20days in my time regarding quotes. they also signed on behalf of my sister which is illegal it goes against the data protection act. I have also been in touch with Action Fraud and they been reported along with AEO association of events organisations, they have advised me to ignore these scammers as its happening alot. also I am taking legal action against them as they are reeling and lying to businesses to get them tied into a b2b contract only to get money from them.
Please Stay away from them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Poor salaries
All I know about this company is that they offer salaries far below the industry averages. A Social Media manager on 17-21k... That's not even a living wage for a management position. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Actually, for a full-time position, I'm not even sure that wage is legal.
Where Do I Start
Where do I start? I've had almost the exact same experience as everyone here with the B2B Marketing Expo for 2023. Strong-armed into a contract past the cancellation date, lack of communication, flat-out rude and unprofessional phone calls (when those were even honored), a rotating cast of clowns claiming to be professionals reaching out.
On top of that, they shifted the date of the event nearly 7 months out (making us able to cancel based on the contract) and will not communicate with us anymore or honor their end of the legal contract. We are still currently trying to cancel and have discovered some fun things like:
- the addresses are bunk (when we tried to send letters)
- the business phone numbers are bunk (tried every extension)
What was Prysm became Fortem International became The Business Show (even the names are getting scammier and laughable).
Stay away from these guys. I don't even think their mother's could love them.
Absolute Scam
We are receiving the same outrageous treatment as the other reviewers here. We attended a conference, and it was absolutely useless. They coerced one of our reps to sign a contract for 2023 for another show, with a 30 day cancellation window. We cancelled within those 30 days, and now they are claiming that we never did, and that we owe them a ridiculous amount of money. STAY AWAY. Unprofessional scam job.
SCAMMERS SCAMMERS
SCAMMERS SCAMMERS! They are unethical business. After reading many reviews, it's obvious that this is the way they want to make money! Very unfair. We should have never done business with them. They forced us into signing a contract over the phone and when they sent the contract, it is not what we have agreed that they put in the contract. We did not get a copy of the contract as they just send a Docusing link so it's easy to scam with their deadlines and forced us to pay 100% of the fees. Their representatives are liars. NEVER trust what they say! They disappear after they had us sign the contract. Also very disorganized company and communication is ZERO or they just do this on purpose so we get lost in their tactics. ALSO They change show dates and still force vendors to pay and exhibit because they signed the contract. So they want the vendors to pay for a service they will never use and did not want because they signed the contract. Their show is 95% CBD Companies, we were not aware of this. Brought 0 sales to our business. NOT ALL the exhibitors they put on the website will actually exhibit, it's just another scam to trap you to make you believe that they are a reputable trade show with many vendors or in fact no company wants to do business with them so they do everything they can to sell and scam everyone on their way. False promise on marketing and barely a few attendees at the show despite their offer on free tickets. No increase in sales or online profile visits. This show has been a WASTE OF MONEY and TIME. Also, threatens many times to report to international credit collection. We come to realize that they target small businesses. We are ready to seek justice if this at least would prevent them to target more small businesses.
Completely looks like a scam
Completely looks like a scam. During the intro call they push you to sign an invoice in your personal name (not your company's), pretending that you are just confirming all details are filled in correctly. However, they push you to click a "sign" button that will make you pay them. During the call they don't take into consideration your questions and that you are not completely ready to buy their services. Be careful and pay attention before signing any docs, or better go over the details after the call. Also, even if you are not sure and you tell them about it, the company will push you to pay before the expiration date.
Also, they will try to sell you in any way possible, so be ready to hear that they have only 2 spots available left and that they had re-scheduled their important meetings for you.
Moreover, they have different email addresses they use and don't even know the name of the senders, across their social media they have different addresses, and if you will research more you will see that they don't have offices at these locations. Also, despite having a significant amount of followers on LinkedIn all their other social media are almost empty.
I would recommend you to research more about this company when buying their services, to be sure that at least they exist and they can organize these "conferences".
