Urgent Complaint – No Response for 1 Week Regarding Broken Rudder (Victoria 67)
I am writing to formally express my serious concern and disappointment regarding the lack of response from your team.
Over a week ago, I reported that the rudder of our Fountaine Pajot Victoria 67 broke while we were anchored in Bermuda. Due to the start of hurricane season, the situation is urgent as we must proceed with our Atlantic crossing as soon as possible.
In my initial email to info@ fountaine-pajot.com, I requested:
Either the price of a replacement rudder, or
The technical drawings needed to repair the rudder locally.
You asked for the Hull Identification Number (HIN) of the vessel, which I provided immediately. Since then, I have received no further reply, despite sending multiple follow-up emails. The only message I received stated that my request had been forwarded to your customer service team – but no action has been taken since.
This continued silence is unacceptable and is compromising both our safety and planned route. I urge you to treat this matter with the seriousness and urgency it requires.
If I do not receive a response shortly, I will be forced to report this issue to official maritime authorities, consumer protection platforms, and public review websites.
I expect your urgent attention to this matter.
