Probably the worst hotel experience in my life.

I was in Modena by Frasers in Bangkok.

This by FAR the worst experience I ever made in any hotel in my entire life. I booked a premier room for over a month. What a horrible mistake. I thought because it is Frasers it must be good. What a mistake. I write this review so you do not have to learn it the hard way like I did. Just avoid Frasers all together. This brand does not guarantee you an acceptable experience.

1. I got stuck twice in the elevator and even made a video. It just did not work anymore.
2. They have single glazed windows in front of a major street in Bangkok. Sleeping or working is VERY hard.
3. They taxed me significantly higher prices than on their website.
4. I had a premier room for a long stay. This is supposed to be the best and most expensive room. I had no glasses, no sponge to clean my dishes... there weren't even pans in the kitchen.
5. The main light switch at the entrance did not work...

I paid like 6300 Baht which is almost 300 USD per night for that...

Who ever is in charge or product owner of premier rooms should be fired honestly. I am not sure how things are in Thailand but for western standards this is not even close to be acceptable. It is in fact actually a HUGE break of trust. You go there and pay a premium and you get basically a trashcan in return where you cannot even sleep. The staff is very friendly and helpful but this does not change the fact that many things are broken on a technical level and just inacceptable (e. g. SINGLE GLAZED windows in front of one of the largest streets in Bangkok)

There are other problems as well but my time is to valuable to spent more on that topic. Just avoid Frasers at all costs if you want to sleep, or not get stuck in an elavator several times.

Truly very disappointing

We have recently stayed in your hotel in Paris 30.05.-01.06.

The stay itsself was ok. The only complaint is about bedding. As we entered the room there seemed to be bedding for 2 only.

After calling the reception the lady delivered some weird declarations that rooms my switch and so on. After all it turned out, that the sofa bed was already made and simply had to be folded out. A note about this handling could avoid such complications.

What really annoyed me is that there were absolutely no warnings or notes of the hotel concerning the oncoming soccer game on the evening of May 31st and the most possible outcome of this ! It turned out to be a total chaos in which France and the City of Paris revealed their true faces !

We, a family, were in the city on this cosy night and got into situations which were very much close to a civil war instead a so called "City of Love", or whatever. The police turned out to be at least as dangerous and cirminal as the mob they fought ! And after a brief research it turned out, that comparable situations have occured multiple times in the past. So you, as Parisians, should have known what will certainly happen that night ! How can you not notify your guests ?! All relevant metro stations were closed. Streets were blocked. Not by the "mob", but by the so called police ! Can you just imagine what a horific walk we had to do to bypass all this sh *t and detour as far as possible and walk back to the hotel from the city center ?! Concerning to our iphone apps it was around 12-15 KM that we had to walk. It took us around 5-6 hours to walk back to the hotel where we arrived at around 3:30 in the morning. It was more an escape run, than a walk always looking around if police or crowd nears. Nobody of the City of Paris ever cared, even Paris is one of the most frequently visited city on earth. They showed zero respect to guests and tourists but showed their ugly grimaces, that they truly give a shit about the safety of univolved. We had to experience it ourself seeing the police throwing and firing tear gas grenades blindly in the direction of the "mob", where we and other tourists stood truly shocked and scared about this fights. That is, to be honest, absolutely inacceptable without any chance of negotiating !!

You truly had the undeniable task to warn every single guest to get back to the hotel on time, or advise the people what to do in case they get trapped in this war like sh*t which the city of Paris delivered !

When arriving to the hotel the reception was even unmanned. It is totally unbearable and absolutely incomprehensible to me why you did not issue any warnings and make sure everybody understands how bad the situation will probaby get. This would de facto have been your job if you would take the safety and wellbeing of your guests any kind of serious.

In general all hotels should be forced by law to establish such a communication with their guests as Paris seems to be anything but s safe place. Could have saved many people, tourists, that we have encountered during our run, who where in comparable trouble !!!

Truy very disappointing !

Fraser Suites, Best Hotel in Hamburg

We arrived at this impressive building evening time, situated just 20 metres from a U3 underground (above ground) station. We were impressed even before we had completed the booking in formalities, the foyer was spotless and the staff more than helpful. The suite was beyond our expectation, everything was as described in their literature and we were looked after from the first day to the last of our 14 day stay in the best possible manner. The suite was spotless, houskeeping was done daily and tea and coffee making facilities topped up daily, together with bottled water. All staff were friendly and where necessary, helpful. I would recommend this establishment to anyone seeking first class service and facilities for a reasonable cost.
Being so close to the U and S trains network, you can be virtually anywhere in Hamburg within a short time. Its just about a 20 minute ride with the S1 direct from Hamburg Airport to within less than 200 metres to Frasers Hospitality. Having tried this hotel, we'll not be going anywhere else when visiting the beautiful city of Hamburg in the future. Thank you everyone.

Bad experience

We are a family of 5 persons. I planned on visiting Istanbul and Fraser antasya was my choice. I booked 2 bedrooms suit without breakfast but due to the website translation the booking was only one person so I sent an email. The hotel contacted us 10 days before to authorize the payment which I did. But when we arrived we were asked to pay 560€ more which I refused and discuss with them. The manager was looking and listening but didn’t interfere. I started looking for another hotel while in the hotel lobby because I know Istanbul districts by heart and I know that umranya is a very remote and low rate district. I booked a 5 stars hotel with advantages and I told them I am no longer going to stay there. They were surprised and tried to changed my mind and only then the manager came in. I was given an 50/ discount of the 560€ then 100/ discount on that rate. He asked me to stay paying no raise but I refused because I had already got a good non refundable offer. He asked me where I was going to stay and I told him a hotel near my new hotel because I suspected the way he insisted to know. They refused to pay my deposit . After some days i discovered that the booking.com was prohibited in Turkey and I believe because we were Arabs the thought we were unable to manage our bookings without that website and that’s why there were shocked when we decided to leave before even checking in. I think if I was Turkish or Europian they wouldn have never discussed it. But thanks to Allah we changed the hotel and the only thing we missed actually was the washing machine only. When I think about it I suspected that it was anti Arab reaction and I am very sorry that Fraser hostility adapt such an act.
