I’ve been very pleased with Fedelity Tax Relief to this point. And Nadia as my case rep
She keeps me informed as to what is going on.

I started this process in June of 2018 and the process is finally complete. Between state and federal I owed about ten thousand dollars, I went to fidelity believing they'd significantly lower what I owed. After investing a year and over 3300.00 dollars in Fidelity Tax Relief, I still owe ten thousand dollars. I wish I could say my experience was like the others, but it wasn't. They concluded by telling me that I had to set up a payment plan. I could have done that by myself for free. David Lazaro had me convinced that there would be a noticeable difference. I may owe one or two hundred less after working with Fidelity, but again, I invested over 3300.00. It wasn't worth the time and effort, copying pay check stubs, bank statements, bills on several occasions. This was a terrible and embarrassing experience for me.

From the start I’ve been satisfied to be a client of Fidelity Tax. Their services have been fair and professional.

I had a very serious tax problem with the IRS. My wages were in the process of being garnished and the IRS was demanding over $26,000.00 in back income taxes.

I contacted Fidelity Tax Relief, and was advised of my rights. In less than a week the garnishment was stopped and eventually the tax dept was wiped out. Sounds impossible, but it's the truth.

I'm a type of person that doesn't trust to many people in business.
Employees at Fidelity tax relief are very professional but also down to earth. Curtious, polite, and definitly know their job. Kinda like asking your friend to do your taxes. Someone you can trust to get the job done right, and someone who cares about your tax problems.

Nadia Lavarreda has been our friend and case worker for over a year and she is wonderful. My wife and I have always been notified for any upcoming and potential issues that may be of concern and needs attention immediately. They put a great deal of effort into helping their clients. Friendly and good service. But don’t expect to not pay for this service as they charge over and above the original fee to secure their help in order to continue helping you with the IRS.

I highly recommend you contact Fidelity Tax Relief (FTR) services! For over 5 years I tried negotiating with both entities...to no avail. Circa-January 2016 received bank notice that a “Legal Hold” was placed on meager amount ($2.53) in my account. Bank’s representative stated IRS issued hold due to “failure to respond to their 3 attempts at contacting me.” I had sent via certified mail a proposed installment agreement in August 2015 and was awaiting reply within 3 months. In April 2015 tax preparer had used an old address when filing my 2014 taxes which was a closed P O Box address located in another county. I had overlooked mistaken address and simply signed/mailed taxes as-is since I was at the April 15th filing deadline! After 12 years at same company I was ‘retired' out of my job late-2014 and am living on a fixed income.

The IRS representative said they wrote to address filed with my taxes and when they didn’t receive a response, put a lien on all my meager assets vs. responding to my August installment agreement. Over the next few years I received additional lien holds on large or small amounts from my accounts from either the IRS or FTB tax departments. These liens prevented me from moving without paying rent deposit amount equivalent to that of a home purchase down payment! Several family members suggested I contact a tax resolution company. I retorted that I don’t have any money to give anyone else if I can’t pay taxes due and am struggling to pay for current living/medical costs!!!

Does this sound like anything you have experienced or are experiencing? If so, all is not lost – there is light at the end of the tunnel. I realized that to obtain relief from the stress I’ve been experiencing re taxes owed I needed assistance. Exasperated with the constant liens coupled with annual rent increases I finally contracted with FTR, April 2018.

After being assessed proposed $258 a month rent increase at a previous apartment, I moved mid-January 2019 to room with someone. Fast forward to Feb. 10th I checked account to determine whether rent paid had cleared bank. Discovered there was another legal hold for entire rent amount! All checks/money were deposited and was still there February 8th when we received a 3-day notice to pay rent or quit. Believe one check hadn't yet cleared by rent due date. Essentially the Franchise Tax Board (FTB) had attempted to confiscate total rent shares. Yikes! After contacting bank and finding out FTB had issued a lien hold I reached out to Yelena at FTR who immediately went to work on my behalf. I provided her with the bank’s info and a copy of the 3-Day Notice. Yelena, Frank and other members of FTR’s Legal team obtained a release of the lien hold (provided I agreed to meet certain conditions) and had bank reverse withdrawal the SAME DAY! She promised to contact them the following day if our monies weren’t returned. Happily my account was fully restored including the $75 fee charged by bank! I am happy to report we were able to pay rent on the 11th – thanks to Yelena and the team’s quick responses.

That said, realize my failure to check the address on my tax filings and inability to pay taxes on early 401K withdrawals (due to life hardship circumstances) prompted all these tax liens. This chain of events was not due to this fine agency’s fault; rather it was due to a series of events which culminated in the government breathing down my neck to satisfy tax liabilities. That is, based upon the rules and regulations established by our government which is "for the people." While my set of circumstances is heart wrenching and unbearable at times from the associated stress, these things are facts of life and living.

I will be forever grateful to Tyler (my initial contact), Yelena and Frank at FTR for all the assistance they are providing once I/we have finalized this indebtedness! So happy they are available to assist myself and others who have enough sense to stop trying to ‘fight the government’ on their own strength and not seek help from these true expert professionals at Fidelity Tax Relief. Suggest you try FTR, read and understand agreement documents (ask questions if you don’t) and do respond timely to their requests. They can and will assist, however it is incumbent upon those who contracted with them to do his/her part to help ensure they're able to act on your behalf.

Remember, it is not worth giving up one’s life (committing suicide or some other devious thing) to pay taxes owed from monies you don’t have. Finally, do not try to run or hide from the government because if you are Enjoying the privilege of living here (in the land of the free) everyone must pay taxes so that all can have the hope of a quality life. I would have appreciated being told there is an initial cost to work your case and then additional attorney fees. Having a hardship has made it difficult for me to come up with money. Better to be told ahead of time.
