Scandalous customer service and terrible logistics, saved only by two heroic delivery men.
​The service I have received to date has been absolutely scandalous.
​It all started with my order for a dining table and chairs. The original delivery date was set for June 6th. By mid-July, after hearing nothing, I called them myself, only to discover they had unilaterally postponed the delivery to September 4th. Furious and ready to cancel, I went to the Watford store and decided to substitute the old order with a new, more expensive table and chairs that were available for immediate delivery.
​Delivery was scheduled for last Thursday. Trusting the timeline, I disposed of my old table and chairs. When the two delivery men arrived, they asked for a lift—which I don’t have and have never had. No one ever asked me about building access when I placed the order. Furthermore, this company has previously delivered a bedroom set and a sofa to my home, so they should already know my address and layout. Because the table was extremely heavy, the two men couldn't carry it without a lift and explained that it required at least a 4-person crew.
​I called the shop immediately to complain. The salesman told me he would check with the manager and call me back. A few minutes later, the manager contacted me. He was incredibly arrogant, talking over me and blaming me because I don't have a lift. As a paying customer, it is your job to ask about delivery requirements and organize logistics accordingly, not mine to guess your internal rules. He dismissively told me they would deliver it on Saturday.
​This morning at 7:00 AM, only two men arrived instead of the required four. The management completely ignored the safety and logistical requirements again. However, the two poor delivery men were absolutely amazing. Understanding the criticality of my situation and the fact that I had no furniture left, they went above and beyond, risking their own safety to carry a 113 kg table up the stairs just to complete the delivery and make me happy.
​While the delivery staff deserve 5 stars for their incredible effort and kindness, the overall management, the store manager's shocking arrogance, and the company's logistical failures deserve zero. I am deeply dissatisfied with this company.

Went to Furniture Village as have bought there before and have been very happy. Walked in a lovely patient lady called Ania showed us everything we had on our wish list and we finally picked a lovely three seater settee. Anita was so lovely and generous with her time and kindness cannot praise her enough for her help. Really pleased with our purchase would definitely recommend

Great communication and action when making deliveries.

Went to FV yesterday- Monday, for dining chairs that were on-line but we're no where in store. I did choose a more expensive set. Around £800, the cousin will kill me(then I'll be dead, do it once !) She doesn't know it yet...... I bought a clearance item for myself as it looked the only thing I could have in the size it is deceiving to know what fits in spaces you have for it. Staf helpful.
