Update: since posting the company has contacted me with a change of heart and has agreed to my original request for a discount to reflect the many issues experienced. I understand accidents happen and errors occur, hopefully this is a sign of a change to the company's dedication to customer service.

I placed an order for a garage door in April, expecting a reasonable installation timeframe. Instead, the process dragged on for five months, with two separate errors on the company's part:

In June, the wrong size door was ordered by the surveyor (who admitted this to me) and was partially installed, leaving me with a partially-functional garage door for months.
A reinstallation booked for August was cancelled last-minute because they'd delivered yet another incorrect door.
The job wasn't finally completed correctly until September.

What frustrated me most was the response when I raised this. The letter that came with my invoice states the company "strives to ensure the customer is fully satisfied," yet when I requested a modest discount to reflect the inconvenience, the operations manager told me there was "no scope" for any discount and simply asked when I'd be settling the balance — no acknowledgement of responsibility at all.

After I pushed back, accounts offered two free servicing appointments as a goodwill gesture. The catch: they're not scheduled until September 2027 and 2028 — years away, and not much use as compensation for five months of accommodating shifting appointments and continuing excuses.

It's hard not to conclude that their commitment to customer satisfaction ends the moment the sale is secured. The only response given to my complaints was that it was out of their hands and that the directors didn't see any need to apologise further.

The finished door itself is fine, but the journey to get there was needlessly stressful, and the company's first instinct was to deflect responsibility rather than own the errors. I'd think twice before booking with them.

Had a problem with door not rising. Phoned them and ' engineer' came out within the hour and rebound the cable, all sorted un half an hour and cost a hacking 160 quid. Later that night door back to same as before and not rising. Called them again and an 'engineer" will be out this morning first thing, let's see.

Booked a garage door repair thru Glasgow branch.
Nicole phoned ans submitted a written quote. She programmed thework to be done and advised repair would be carried out between 08.00- 12.00, and engineer would call 30min beforehand.
Tony phoned, arrived on time. Carried out the work safely and efficiently. He was friendly, helpful and tidy.
A treat experience, I would recommend them to anyone
