Sexist company that believes women are too weak to stand up for themselves. Apparently, we need Gillette, a company notorious for overcharging on female products, to shame all the men who have bought their products, all while trying to advertise their products. There are better shaving products out there for a much lower price, and they come with the added bonus of not being sold by a greedy corporation run by people who think they're morally superior to their customers.

This 2 star review is based on the price of replacement women’s Gillette razor blades cartridges. Today I saw a box of cartridges in Boots costing an absolutely shocking £20.98. I would like to say to the Gillette company - your women’s razor cartridges cost two thirds of the price that some people’s weekly food shopping costs them. They are the same price as my monthly broadband bill. This isn’t just a rise in prices, this is just crazy. What’s worse is that you are expected to buy the handle separately! If you are trying to go out of business then this is the way to do it. An advert for Dollar Shave club appears on my Facebook news feed every week, and it’s not difficult to click on it.

Ho acquistato le lamette gillette fusion proshield, e devo ammettere che è che stato un pessimo acquisto. Punto 1, contiene 3 lamette anziché 4 o 5 come le altre. Punto 2, prezzo elevato non giustificato, visto che ha solo 3 lamette. Punto 3,manca la lama singola in cima alla lametta. Anziché di migliorare si è tornati indietro di almeno 15 anni.

I honestly wish I could rate negative stars...the Venus waterless razor should not get one star...I missed a spot while shaving in the shower...I had just bought the Venus waterless razor so I thought I'd try it on the spot I missed...I used it as the directions said...and my leg was bleeding after I made one pass with the razor...it hurt so bad...it bleed for hours...

I used to buy gillette's overpriced trash, mostly because it was the only game around. Admittedly their commentary on my supposed transgressions as a white male is what pushed me to look for a replacement. Now that I have, I've found alternatives of equal quality with far better pricing.

Terrible company.

They made an advertisement that was very disempowering to women.

It basically said that women are too pathetic and weak to stand up for themselves, and made a call to men everywhere, to help them.

Very sexist and I will never buy from them again.

Gillette have lost me as a customer due to their patronising ad. It simply stereotypes mens behaviour as bad in such a generalising way. Yes clearly some men behave badly, however plenty of women behave equally badly. Both sexes have some toxic behaviours. To portray a majority of men badly as their ad did is simply reinforcing the current anti masculinity propoganda.

Many lower cost alternatives available that are just as good.
Recent advertising initiatives seem to imply they don't want or value me as a customer.

I used to love the gillette safety razor, until I found that Dorco worked better. I once opened a pack to find that the blade couldn't shave me, I checked with my barbers and all of them had switched to dorco, I went to their supplier bought a pack and never went back.

Their recent marketing campaigns also come in question, to whom do they try selling their products.

just thought id leave a review from me and my wife ... and my two daughters when they're grown up. you make razors ... and despite the fact that your 'mens' razors range have always been very clearly targeted at men - they work on and are used by often by women too!! my wife is a preferer of the mach3 turbo (bless her) ... and im sure my daughters will grow up seeing a razor based on its abilty and not its colour ... but thank you for your recent advert addressing hyper/toxic masculinity...its what we need ... and anyone saying otherwise is just scared to be who they are underneath the superiority complex that the patriarchal soceity enstilled in generations of men ... times up guys!! crying doesnt make you less of man,being nice doesnt make you less of a man, and protecting women was always part of the deal - only no one really did it properly!!! we'll keep buying your razors ... and you keep telling boys to be nice to girl - one day one of those boys will be marrying my daughters so i appreciate all the help i can get.

After the recent events with the release of the gillette advertising campaign urging men 'to try harder' i realised i no longer wish to line the pockets of this company. Been brought up on Gillette my whole life so automatically thought it was the best, oh how wrong was i. Just recently moved over to the old safety razors (after researching online) and my god what a difference. I purchased the Merkur 34C safety razor and i've honestly never had a shave this good in my life ever. Gillette you lost me for good!

Why Gillette? Why you did it? I used my first Gillette 20 years ago. Last week I did it for the last time. My favorite brand is bullying own customers, what is wrong with you? I will never trust you again. Bye Bye Gillette.

Your advert is toxic. It does not represent men. It represents a 3rd wave feminists view of men. A distorted view at that. I have thrown all your products out and won't buy them again.There are better cheaper shaving products on the market now. When will you learn that backing this minority group of mysandrists leads to 'get woke go broke"

Overpriced, under performing, man hating razors.

I agree with the previous reviewer. I for a while knew about Gillette but hadn't tried their razors. Recently started using the Gillette Proshield razors after getting a sample in the mail, which was nice of them. They seemed decent at the time, so I began purchasing regularly. Recently I tried a different brand because of the better price--they were much smoother.
A few days later, this disgusting advertisement against men is aired, at a time where wonderful American men are being demonized from many directions.
Gillette if you are reading this, you have lost another customer for good. If you spent more time as a company improving your products instead of creating frivolous misandric advertisements that help your short term profits you likely wouldn't feel the need to take shortcuts. Lots of luck
