If I could put no star, I would. I am incredibly displeased with Globe’s service. Last month, we accidentally forgot to pay our 675 peso balance before the due date. It wasn’t really a major concern initially since we already experienced something like this in the past multiple times and after paying it would be alright. My mother went in their office on July 2, 2026 and paid 3k there. She was told that connection would be restored after 24 hours. We gladly waited, and then 24 hours came, then 48 hours, the connection is still nowhere to be found. We went back again on the 5th and talked to customer service (bless her, she was kind). I even showed her the bill and she requested for reconnection. After a few hours we were reconnected again. I thought it was finally over but then yesterday I received a message from globe that we had a monthly bill of 2 324 pesos. Of course I was flabbergasted because where did this even come from? Come to think of it, we shouldn’t even have a bill this month because we paid 3k. Today—despite busy schedule—we need to go to globe office again which is like an hour away from us. In the span of 10 days we already went there 3 times, I almost feel like a part-time employee now!

To Globe, do better. Your service is not on par with the price you want many Filipinos to pay.

Absolute nightmare!

There are no real people to talk to anymore. Their decision to fully digitalize customer service has made it incredibly frustrating to get help when you actually need it.

It feels like large telecom companies are making it harder for newer providers to compete in the ISP industry, allowing them to maintain a monopoly or near-monopoly in the market. Perhaps that's why they seem so confident that customers won't switch providers, because in many areas, there simply aren't enough viable alternatives. Customer service has become impersonal, slow, and ineffective. When your internet service is essential for work, school, or daily life, being unable to speak with a human representative is unacceptable. Customers deserve better support and more meaningful choices.

Although they TRY to be helpful, the company should give better service, not only client relations but their connectivity to their internet as well. Having a monopoly in the provinces, compounds the issue. My SMART hotspot is more reliable! If i were not paying 1400/month for home wifi with Globe, i would not be so disappointed!

No internet connection but no notification of any issues

I would like to report a recurring issue with my internet service. For the past three consecutive days, my connection has stopped working from approximately 12:00 AM until around 9:00 AM, and I have not received any notifications regarding outages or maintenance in my area.

I work from home and rely heavily on a stable internet connection to perform my job. These repeated service interruptions have caused significant inconvenience and have negatively impacted my work responsibilities.

I would appreciate it if you could investigate this issue and provide an explanation, as well as an estimated resolution time. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

The service has become frustrating to…

The service has become frustrating to use. Mobile data is painfully slow for most of the day and only becomes fast after midnight. Signal bars fluctuate constantly, and internet performance is unreliable despite having coverage. Customers shouldn't have to wait until everyone is asleep just to get decent speeds. Very disappointing experience.

If there is a negative star rating i would give it to them. Our experience is so terrible specially with their costumer service and their field technician. How many times we raised our concern about our connection because the sc connector in our router needs replacement but these mofo technicians keep on telling us to report it to the globe one app but that app also keeps on declining our request. Absolutely terrible. I won't recommend globe if you want a stable connection and good service.

If there's a zero rate I love to do it because of their poorest and slowest connection speed. Imagine you have urgent work online, but you can't even start that urgent work due to a poor connection. Ever since I have used this network, I have never seen any improvements in connection speed.

I recently visited the Globe Center at SM Mall in San Mateo and had a fantastic experience, thanks to the sales assistants, May Lorraine and Kimberley. They were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the entire process.
They assisted me with registering for GOMO PH, making it easy and hassle-free. Their patience and attentiveness made a significant difference, especially for someone navigating the registration as a tourist. I highly recommend Globe for anyone looking for straightforward and efficient mobile service. It’s definitely a five-star experience!

Complete Utter Lack Of Support

I have never used this company directly, only through a third party provider (possibly, they pick the best signal for the area you are in, so it was probably Globe at times, when I was in The Philippines). I am going back to the country to seal the deal in a few months, I wanted to try to buy their services directly, this is my complaint, they provide no customer service at all, not even to potential customers trying to buy their service. All you can do is go to their bot chat, you get about three millions. useless bot replies before someone ever does come into the chat and I have never received an answer to my (pre-sales) questions. One guy tried but the information he game me was incorrect, I was not asking about that and I was able to do what he said I could not. He immediately ended the chat. I was at this, trying to ask them questions, for probably a week or more; I have a life outside of this issue, I cannot afford to give them any more time, I"m not going to beg them to take my business. This is head-blowingly horrible customer service, I give up, I will be using the 3rd party provider I used the last time around, on a trip that included The Philippines (so it made sense to use them since I would otherwise have had to use many different providers, one from each country I visited).

Absolutely terrible experience

Absolutely terrible experience — 1 star is honestly too generous.

I'm a tourist who went to the Philippines and purchased a Globe prepaid eSIM for a 6‑week stay, and the entire process has been nothing but a headache. I purchased the eSIM a week before travelling and I followed all the online instructions to register the eSIM, but it simply did not work .

I then followed Globe's instructions to contact them on Facebook messenger. I waited 24 hours for the first response, the link provided did not work. I contacted them on Facebook messenger again then another 48 hours wait to speak to someone. While the second agent was “assisting” me, nothing they suggested worked. I was told repeatedly to “follow the instructions,” even though I had already done so multiple times.

When it still didn't work, I asked for a refund , since the eSIM was clearly faulty or impossible to register. Instead of helping, the second agent just repeated the same script and then left the chat. I was stuck with an eSIM that never worked, no refund , and no compensation.

I emailed every Globe support address I could find online — not a single reply . After months of waiting, it honestly feels like those email contacts exist only to make the company look legitimate, not to actually help customers.

It has now been three months with zero resolution. As a tourist, this experience was extremely disappointing, and I honestly feel scammed by Globe.

Decent service with room for improvement

My experience with Globe Telecom is honestly a mix of good and not so good. Most of the time, the signal and mobile data are reliable and work well for everyday use like browsing and messaging. But there are moments when the connection slows down or drops, especially during busy hours. Overall, it's a decent service, just not always consistent.
