My son didnt have his flight yet back home and then they dont pay anything! I think this is in the very small letters....

I have just extended the cover, easy to do and instant confirmation.

Again an easy on line process. A lot more straightforward than others.

The Insurance was easy to arrange on line and at a fair price.

I have just booked a worldwide one trip comprehensive insurance for the over 80s to attend a family reunion in the USA. The webside was user-friendly and efficient, with all details easy to understand. It can be difficult for a senior to get generous travel insurance, so I was grateful to find Globelink, and good cover at a reasonable price.

Excellent service. Website easy to figure, which makes life easy. Payment increased this year, but guess just the way of the world. But with excellent cover worth it.

With reference to the reply about their company.I advised that HWA falsified documents. As for one review who advised Mrs ?? at Globelink was helpful.
This is the person who slammed the phone down on me.Advised that the medical form was incorrect with
Collinsons name on. That it was the TEC dept had made a mistake. Twice she advised that IT WAS NOTHING TO DO WITH GLOBELINK.

Collinsons advised that HWA were totally in the wrong how they had treated us.
HWA advised that the letter from the Doctor dated 29 September was not an emergency appointment.
It was the date of the letter,
HWA twice wrote that my husband had chronic diabetes with leg ulcers.
which he had not.
In fact the doctor in the letters advised that he had
had the last three weeks 3 times weekly clinic
appointments and that he should carry on for a further 3 weeks.
That is what I meant by falsifying documents.
Also the woman Elena kept advising I had not sent
the recovery form. I in turn advised I had not recieved
it, After weeks of this. She replied she had forgotten
to send it?
Also everything was downloaded and photocopied
and sent by courier to Greece.
I had a signature to say it had been delivered. They kept advising it had not. Eventually they advised they
had received it.
The CEO answered a few emails only and wished me all the best with the claim.
I also asked him why had it gone to Greece,
and why was it taking so long? Never received a reply. Their response to my first review is purely a cover up from Globelink for their lack of help. HWA for their dishonesty. But Collinsons were very helpful and after 4 months advised HWA to return our money which they did, not correctly at first-
I take the remark by Alex that it was slander is totally incorrect. Why then did he repeatedly advise he hoped I was succesful with my claim. THis is from the CEO of Globelink. So I would ask why are they not able to help as the Mrs??? repeatedly told me.
If they want dispute my review they can contact me as I have kept all their emails. GLOBELINK, THE MRS. THE CEO ALEX, HWA ELENA, THE TWO FALSIFIED LETTERS. EMAILS FROM ELENA WHICH WE CONSIDER THREATENING. All are kept, Including the lovely helpful ones from Melissa at Collinsons.

Returning customer to Globelink. Great customer service and simple easy buying process.

We’ve used Globelink for years, they are always reliable and there to help with whatever questions we’ve had.

I've had Globelink for several years and I stuck with them because their service was good and claims processing efficient. They have apparently recently hired a subcontractor to process claims, and it's a nightmare. I just submitted 15 pages of nonfillable .pdfs with fields so tiny that the writing is hard to make legible. The forms ask for things that are not necessary for a simple medical claim--passport number?--and the request for bank details uses terms not familiar to me in any banking system I've dealt with (many of them appear to be relevant only to India). Now that I'm reading the other reviews, I too am afraid that this is some data harvesting scam and I'll never be paid. For now, I'll give them 2 stars in the hopes that the claim is paid...
***Update: Globelink saw all the negative reviews and moved heaven and earth to address my concerns (they also emailed me directly and called me), so big thumbs up for that! And my claim was paid! However, the memories of 15 pages of nonfillable .pdfs (HOURS spent filling out, scanning, uploading) and the poor communication from the processor are still too fresh for me to give them 5 stars, but I'll bump up to 4 and will at least consider renewing with them when the time comes.

I bought insurance with Globe Link, sadly I had to go hospital during my holiday, I sent a claim as they suggest me but to have an answer from the insurance company it's really difficult, after claim they answer me only one time with an automatic reply, I had to call and call center told me to send another email and in 1 day they will answer but after the call it's already pass 6 days and in total more than two weeks. From an insurance I expect a fast answer not 2 emails that never answer and a call center that push back you because I can be have an answer only by email.

You never can rate a travel insurance until you need to make a claim. Have been with Globelink for 4-5 years on and off, (no insurance taken during pandemic, because i was not travelling). Easy enough to take out the cover even with minor medical history, and very competitive on price, especially the annual policy.
Recently had to make a claim to recover some medical expenses on a cruise where my wife and I caught influenza, visited ships doctor to obtain diagnosis and medication, obtained invoices etc.
Returned home to claim back our direct medical only costs incurred, now the fun has started, pages and pages of forms to fill in, most info requested not even applicable or the form in English. Took several hours to complete, wanted my bank details!!?? Submitted all the various info minus bank details which they eventually agreed i could supply once claim agreed.
Heard nothing back not even an acknowledgement of claim.
Update 13/02/24:
Globelink director intervened, claim cleared and initial problems hopefully resolved for others to have a better experience. Be warned because of three individual visits to a doctor, this was treated as three individual claims and accordingly deductions of 250 excess applied. From $740 of doctors fees I received 209 euros.
Having said all above Globelink did take interest in my comments, and thoroughly investigated processes used by the independent claims handler HWA.

Easy to complete, no fuss, easy to understand

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Claim has been put in three months ago and no refund for stolen luggage. I have emailed and just a generic email "please be advised that your claim is under process under a priority list" I think the claims might be a scam. I have emailed global link who revert me to HWA who aren't processing the claim and have all supplied receipts and documents.

Do yourself a favour and use a different insurance company.

** Amended review. Since my initial review and terrible experience, the insurance company has responded and intervened. They have gone above and beyond to remedy the situation and are reviewing their claims process. Seeing as the claims handler is not on Trustpilot, and this review should be fair and balanced, I am amending my review to reflect my experience with the actual insurance provider - Globelink. Overall the insurance product was one of the best I compared online. In the end, my claim was successfully settled. In summary, despite a rather antiquated process which I trust they are now revamping, the product is well-priced for the extensive cover and does perform when needed. Given the company's response, I can only trust that they care about their business and take matters like this seriously.

sono rimasto bloccato in thailandia ad aprile 2020 causa covid e sospensione di tutti i voli per 40 giorni poi rientrato a Roma con volo organizzato dall'ambasciata Italiana. Mi hanno chiesto tutti i documenti possibili . Alla fine volevano un documento che certificasse la chiusura la chiusura dell'areoporto
di bankok, malgrado avessi spedito tutte le E-Mail di soppressione del volo prima rimandato poi soppresso della compagia aerea. Non mi hanno risarcito di un euro.
VOI pensate a risarcirmi , la vostra risposta dimostra chiaramente che non rispettate gli impegni presi sottoscrivendo la polizza in oggetto e non accennate minimamente a farlo.

It’s was easy to complete the registration. All of the questions have information about your options. It’s easy to select an option then go back and change to another option to compare the prices. It’s clear what you are paying for.
I am a repeat customer as I have had great service from Globelink. No nonsense!!
