Terrible for basketball.
Disorganised, lack of communication, and the only referee the assign to the games seems to be a random guy who's just looking forward to finish the night and get some extra money. You end up paying a lot for a 30 min game, where they don't even bother to stop the time.
London deserves so much better than this.

Great Experience

GoMammoth is a social sports organisation that uses contract refs and helps place teams in leagues and people in teams. Things will not always go right 100% of the time - that is the nature of social, recreational things!

People run late, bad weather happens and people have last minute life encounters.

If you have an open mind, and take it for what it is, GoMammoth is absolutely wonderful at creating times and spaces for people to play social, competitive sports, with rules and guidelines to keep everyone safe.

I have had a fantastic experience, met great people and played lots of netball with them. Some days, things have not gone to plan. People showed up late, or an umpire forgot her whistle - but these things happen!

I am both a player and an umpire with GM and recommend 10/10.

I had really wanted to join a netball league and I decided to try out Go Mammoth. I thoroughly enjoyed my first session. The team were all incredibly welcoming and supportive. The umpire was great too. I’m already looking forward to my next session.

I attend the Chelsea 5-aside league, and it is great fun. The matches start on time, the players and teams are all respectful, and the matches are fun. We play at the Chelsea Academy pitch, and it's a lovely, well-kept pitch.

Joining GO Mammoth has been great for both my physical and mental health. Playing sports with a team again is so much fun and GO Mammoth takes away the stress of organising it

Fantastic website and organisation, matches are organised for you, equipment provided, pitches booked and all information is well communicated. You can simply enjoy the sport you love and socialise with people! Only positive opinion from me, many thanks to everyone who makes Go Mammoth possible! 😃

I paid 100£ to book 10 sessions of basketball at a venue of interest at mid of August 2025. The sessions would begin in the second half of September.

2 days before the start date of the booked session, I was emailed that there were not enough people booking this venue so they won't proceed with it, but that they automatically found a different venue for me and that if I didn't want to do that I could let them know and they'd offer me a refund.

It would take me aboout 5-6x more time to get to the new venue, it was way too far so I asked for a refund.
I got not reply.

It's been a week now and I've emailed them about 4 times for support and also tried reaching their phone number, to no avail.

At the same time, the team I was assigned to has one lacking player.

I don't think they will ever reply to me, repair the team's lost member or even repay me.

Worst experience I've ever witnessed.

I like that there are multiple sites for the sport I play (netball) across London and have been for about 3 years now. I like that they send availability emails each week as well as having a dashboard where you can see upcoming matches, league position etc

However, they are terrible at providing updates to league situations such as match time and/or match location changes for leagues. We've also played at 2 schools now and both times when the floodlights break on one side they aren't fixed for months. Also if any team settings need to be amended such as re-adding old players after the league has started, adding new players externally to the GM waiting list, or getting refunds for certain situations, the head office seems very disjointed and unorganised and it is such a slog to try and solve anything.

We love GoMammoth netball leagues! We've been playing for 2 years now and it's always been really fun and social. Our umpire is the best, would recommend!

Having so much fun playing with Gomammoth netball league. The sign-up process was easy. There is a positive, sociable atmosphere at games. The refs have been very friendly and welcoming, having a laugh with us while being fair.

The office team respond quickly to my calls/emails and have been really accommodating - helping to find additional players as we didn't have enough for a full team. Would definitely recommend Gomammoth to anyone wanting to start/get back into netball :)

Great easy experience and enjoying the league

The league is great fun and the gomammoth staff, from the umpires to the table are making everything runs swiftly. I can't recommend them enough

I've had an overall great experience with the go mammoth netball leagues. They are well co-ordinated with great umpires and like-minded, netballers. There are sometimes a few issues with logistics, but a minor issue. Overall would recommend. School 21 netball on Saturdays.

Well organised, great umpires, I really do have fun playing even though my team never wins, the other teams are very gracious. My only con is the lighting on the court, it needs replacing especially going in to autumn.

The netball league with GoMammoth is great. Their website info could be better - I'd have signed up earlier if I'd realised I wouldn't individually have to find a sub for any time I was on holiday. But I'm really pleased I joined and it's a great way to get a bit of fun exercise with nice, like-minded people. And if you phone up, the people who organise it are helpful.
