I don’t usually leave reviews but had write about the Fantastic service I received from Sammi. I had difficulty choosing a backpack and Sammi was extremely helpful. Nowadays, it is so rare to find a helpful assistant. Thanks Sammi.

Veronica provided excellent customer service. I called ahead to check the product was available. Veronica explained the membership and discount. I visited the stored and was served quickly. Veronica explained further membership benefits and the returns policy. I am a happy customer! I purchased exactly what I wanted, at a competitive price and had a positive experience. The shop assistant was very helpful. She engaged directly with my son and listened to what he wanted to help him find the best walking boots.

The assistant, Ciaran, was very helpful. The store was quiet. It was a good experience. Though they didn't have boots in the colour I wanted, but they offered alternatives.

Ciaran was so attentive and was really kind and very helpful and I am older and was in need of advice for a future trip. I bought great trainers and hope to wear them in the house to check comfy. Ciaran advised me to take the GoOutdoors card as i will be buying clothing for my trip very soon and as i need quick dry for trekking it means i get a little discount. Great experience I will be back.

Just slightly disappointed that membership has an annual fee (got it back with discount in one purchase but price of item at Blacks previously was the same).

I went yesterday to buy a nice jumper with so many questions about my gift card and the yearly membership and it was a pleasure to be served by Cate, who nicely explained me everything and I bought waht I wanted for a much cheaper price. Thanks Cate!

My wife was looking for a pair of walking shoes and selected a one off the display showing a member price of £85 plus a membership of £5. When we went to pay for it the price was nearer £150. The assistant was confused and asked the manager to check. He eventually strolled down the stairs looking very disinterested. After a couple of minutes he said that the shoes were on the wrong stand and the price on the till was correct. He flatly refused my request to honour the price advertised with a smirk on his face.

Fantastic customer service. Ciaran was brilliant. I called ahead to order a few items. By the time I got to the store, the items were ready for me to collect. Simple and easy. Excellent customer service.

Had a great time in the store, staff was Amazing especially Samii, didn’t feel rushed at all and got everything I needed and also got my go outdoors membership. Would 100% come again, my favourite shop to visit in Reading
