I came to the store today with many questions and Megan was so helpful! Very knowledgeable and friendly!

Went in to buy a new pair of walking shoes as the old pair had started to leak. I was served by Lorna who found me the shoes I wanted . Her advice re sizing and care was brilliant. The whole visit took less than 15 minutes.

Lorna was helpful and knowledgeable. And patient as I took ages to buy boots. Very professional.

Been into the store in Southport half a dozen times over the last few months to get equipment for my son's D of E expeditions. The staff are always helpful and very knowledgeable. They went out of their way to spend time explaining their range of equipment. Sam and Ben were great, very patient and helped me make correct decisions from their huge stock choices. We got everything we needed.

I have visited GoOutdoors in Southport due to me needing a backpack and a jacket for hiking. Ben was absolutely amazing at giving an expert advise on which waterproof jacket to go for. He has been excellent from start to finish. Very knowledgeable and professional. I will come back to this store for further visits, as the service was stellar! 🤗

Bought a pair of Merrell walking shoes, I was really impressed with the advice and knowledge of the (female) assistant who had been working in this area of retail for the past two decades. Her technical knowledge and way she explained things was excellent.

Spent ages trying on and making a decision about which waterproof jacket to buy for a forthcoming walking holiday. Assistant called Ben was very Knowledgeable about the products and very patient as I tried to make a decision. I left the shop confident with my choice.

Rory was amazing, I came in with my mum and bought some walking boots on 22/03/25, it had been a long while since needing walking boots. He asked what type of walking/hiking I’ll be doing and then advised which boots are best for that type of walking/hiking. He ensured I got the correct size and showed me how to tie boots properly to ensure fitted correctly, Rory explained how they should feel to ensure no blisters. I had to try about 5 pairs of boots and a couple of different sizes in a few, finally found a pair that were a great fit and comfortable.
Boots tried a tested on recent holiday to the lakes and I can say no blisters and happy healthy feet. Thank you Rory for you patience with me, you went above and beyond to help, I very much appreciated your expertise and help.
