When i went upstairs at the Fox Valley store Phil was extremely helpful and had a friendly rapport. I purchased the shies i was looking at. Downstairs at the till the great service continued with Eleanor. She was also very friendly and helpful. She was also very patient. 5 star rating

Great staff such as penny and this other lady but I dont know her name both of them always looking out for our best interest. great help finding clothes for the other lady especially considering she had only just started recently at her job. and full dedication for both of them. They were both really kind too.

We were looking for a particular Rab coat and a lovely lady called Sue helped us to locate the correct size by checking stock and then fetching it for us. What a delight to speak to someone who seems to enjoy their job and is happy to help !! Thank you Sue

Went in today looking for a new pair of walking boots and couldn't have asked for better help. Steve was absolutely brilliant – so friendly, welcoming and really took the time to ask about what I needed, the type of walking I do and any fit concerns I had.

He didn't just push the most expensive pair; he listened properly, brought out different options, explained the differences between them, and made sure I got the right size and support. It felt like he genuinely cared about getting it right for me, not just making a sale. Great advice, really patient, and such a pleasant attitude – exactly what helpful customer service should be.

I was visiting the area and desperately needed new Hiking boots, but I had trouble deciding on the right pair. The staff member - Heidi - spent a lot of time with me going through my options, and also supported me the following day when I returned having had some time to consider the options. Heidi was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. She went well above and beyond to support me, despite me taking a long time, she was very patient and I never felt pressured. 2 other staff members also kindly offered their insight; each one of them were very friendly. I'm pleased with my purchase and the service I received from this store, thanks to the staff.

Phil, who served us, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the leather walking boot I was purchasing.
He was friendly and polite.

Well stocked tent show room which took the guess work out of the buying process. We didn’t buy in-store as we wanted to discuss the best product for us at home. We ordered the tent and membership card online for click and collect. The collection was straight forward apart from when we wanted to buy something else while in the store where we was told
We couldn’t use our members card as it was too soon….. but we could order the items online and collect them later.

Staff are always amazing. Always helpful and friendly. Served by Lauren / Eleanor today. A few weeks ago I was helped with a climbing helmet by the manger who was very knowledgeable and happy to chat.

Go Outdoors Stockbridge is probably about 30 minutes drive from my location, but it is such worth a trip. The staff here are so helpful and are always extremely professional and friendly. I would like to say thank you to Anna specifically, I met Anna early 2025, from speaking to her in the store on numerous occasions she has always helped me and goes above and beyond to help. You are a credit Anna, I hope you see this. Thank you for all of your efforts and customer service, you are an amazing person. Слава Україні! 🇺🇦

Prompt service. Well organised.

Great variety of products so we can always find exactly what we need. Penny was really helpful with suggestions for what I might need for my first multi-day walking expedition, I even returned later on to buy something else after thinking it over. My first choice for outdoor gear in my area thanks to the lovely team.

The internet was down when I called for my order. They explained they were unable to take payment, stated that I’d already paid but unfortunately not able to scan.

Rang Customer Service and explained I just needed to collect, wasn’t local and would be a 66 mile round trip to return.
Lady at customer services rang the shop to see if they could help.

Shop staff agreed to let me have my coat, took a photo of my paperwork and woohoo 🎉 I got my coat

Thank goodness common sense prevailed.

Well laid out store with what you need and helpful staff

Went in for children’s coats for back to school and was serviced by Heidi &Eleanor and I was blown away when she explained to me everything about washing them because I had no idea waterproof coats needed to be washed carefully. 10/10 for customer service! Will definitely be back at Stockbridge go outdoors again.
