Purchased some blondies for my mum for her birthday. My mum buys them regularly from QVC and absolutely adores them. I went direct. My mum phoned me a few days later to say they weren’t the usual batch. They were very undercooked and weren’t ‘cracked’ on top like they usually are. I emailed Kate at Gowers Cottage and received a very cold reply basically stating they were as they should have been and they obviously weren’t to my mums taste! They’ve asked for me to send them back and for me to pay for postage until received and then they will refund for postage and product. I’m so disgraced. I have heard a few times now that Kate appears lovely and friendly on the telly but on the phone/ in emails she’s not at all. No apology or anything. Lost a consistent customer there!

Ordered some birthday Brownies and they took the money and never sent them! Avoid!

Such tasty Brownies, but having sent two messages to Customer services , first to report a failed delivery services two days before I had asked for it, and the other to express my disappointment with delivery. Occupants were home, but not even a knock on the door, and it was only when I had a delivery photo showing the food parcel between the black bin and recycling in the middle of Cardiff at their home that we knew they had been delivered......!! Sadly Gower Brownies have not even responded to my email.

I have ordered these brownies for myself and presents to others and they were brilliant.
The last time I ordered they were smaller and because of this they didn’t fit the box as previous.
I contacted the company by email and was told I shouldn’t believe everything I read on the internet!!! And when I went back to clarify that it was my experience- was told “We’ll have to disagree”
Poor customer service.

Purchased these for a friend as a thank you for a favour. I requested a delivery date of 1st June as my friend was away until the 2nd with her family. They were delivered on the 29th May, 3 days early.

What is the point in specifying a delivery date and then it being ignored? If the item has an indefinite shelf life then fine, but this doesn't. I didn't want to have to freeze them as I wanted to give them to her fresh.

The seller was unapologetic and unhelpful. Very poor customer service. I've purchased the brownies before and they are nice, but this experience has totally put me off. I won't be ordering these brownies again or recommending them to anyone I know.

The brownies are indeed lovely, however in my rush to order them after tasting one I didn't really pay much attention to the payment form. Turns out your card details are sent in the clear to their site directly instead of a payment gateway. I fell victim to credit card fraud the day after using the site which I do not believe to be a coincidence.

I contacted the owner making it clear what they were doing was likely a breach of the regulations surrounding the payment card industry, as well as putting customer details at risk, but received no reply. They also have a badge on site claiming to be secure, but if you click through they haven't actually been scanned.

All in all nice but would just be easier and safer if they moved to shopify or a similarly secure ecommerce platform.

Received a box of chocolate brownies as a gift from a dear friend. They truly were the nicest brownies I’ve ever eaten. The box I received was 12 brownies, two layers. As they are incredibly rich in taste you could cut them in half again, giving you 24 smaller portions and I still think you would enjoy them as much. I will certainly be purchasing them again.

Just arrived and should have been a tea time birthday treat but once you eat one, so difficult to stop! Nom nom nom! Delivery was outstanding and the product out of this world. Diolch yn galon

Such a disappointment that, on my second online order from them, Gower Cottage's customer service didn't come up to scratch, nor were they prepared to find a solution after it was wrongly processed when the payment site had a glitch. Not their fault in itself but their lack of assistance and then silence as I tried to sort out this gift for a poorly friend left a bad taste in the mouth.

I have now tried quite a number of these small business brownie companies during the past year and these are hands down the best quality of product. Delivery was good too. No gimmicky flavours, just a beautiful brownie with an exquisite flavour. None of these are cheap, but that is because you are buying small batch quality. For a gift or an indulgent treat, you can't go too far wrong with these.

Incredible brownies. We were sent these brownies when we had our second baby and have sent them to friends and colleagues when they’ve had babies ever since. Different, and more delicious than another set of baby clothes! Just got some for my wife for Mother’s Day. Everyone loves them. Easy ordering and named day delivery included. Highly recommend.

This company makes the most phenomenal brownies! Always delivered on time (even through covid) and caters for all sorts of dietary requirements (gluten, vegan, etc.). Also the chocolate butter is devine!
