No customer service number

No customer service number. It's been a month since I requested assistance via email to zero response (outside of that they received my request). The cards have been unable to use since May 2018. It's now July and still NO RESOLUTION! I would recommend NOT BUYING FROM THEM. It seems like they take your money and do not give the recipient the option of ever using the card and they just KEEP YOUR MONEY. Not happy with their service. I called their mobile/website support # of (877) 758-6242. They stated for months that they would send an email and that I needed to speak with "customer service instead of "customer support." They could not/would not give me a # to customer service and stated that they are not provided with phone #'s. What!!??

Terrible company! They have not gotten back with me concerning my $50 card balance. I'll stick with Amazon Prime.

There is no phone number that you can call and actually speak to a human. They have never gotten back to me when I have submitted problems of redeeming my gyft cards. I will NEVER use them again Andy I have told my loved ones to please use amazon prime when they wish to send my a gift card. Works MUCH BETTER than this mess.

GYFT came installed on my phone and was recommended via Verizon. I purchased 4 different cards for family gifts, and none were able to redeem them. It has been over a year for two of them, 5 months for the other two - They tried for weeks, sent emails to support and nothing. I finally called and am getting the run around for over a week. Told there is NOTHING THEY CAN DO - my request is being sent to Management - can't speak to anyone, and NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME as promised 3 times. Rep told me she would be fired if she gave me any info re: management. They had no problem taking my $175, but trying to get it back.... probably not likely. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

Rate 5 🌟 BUT NEED TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT A REFUND

I would rate Gyft 5 stars without hesitation. I have used Gyft many times, with various forms of payment methods, and for all kinds of different gift cards. Although ive never used Bitcoin as a payment method. Most purchases i made were with my PayPal account, which was very convenient for me!! There was a couple different occasions where my purchase via PayPal would get stalled for 24 hours. Im not sure exactly what prompted it to delay or get flagged but i would get a message saying the transaction was "pending and currently being processed" that it could take up to 24 hours. Then it would usually take nearly all of the 24 hours for it to be completed. But ive never had any issues using any of the gift cards that ive purchssed through Gyft. For Starbucks, Walmart, Amazon, The Home Depot, Uber and Lyft. However i am currently wanting to request a REFUND FROM GYFT FOR A $25 LYFT GIFT CARD I PURCHASED WITH PAYPAL, BECAUSE I CANNOT USE IT. I DO NOT HAVE A DEBIT CARD TO ADD TO MY LYFT ACCOUNT, SO THEREFORE I CANNOT USE THE $25 GIFT CARD. UNLIKE WITH UBER, WHERE YOU CAN USE GIFT CARDS WITHOUT A DEBIT CARD.

This company is a total rip off. I purchased a gift card for my nephew 3 years ago and we're still fighting with Gyft trying to redeem it. They take your money and you end up sending someone an irredeemable gift card. I can't believe they're still in business with what they're doing to people. Buyer Beware!

This product is terrible

This product is terrible. Very difficult to redeem and then once you purchase a gift card and start using it, nothing is updated to your on-line account or wallet. There is also no one to call to ask questions.

Gyft is a dishonest fraud

Gyft is a dishonest fraud. My daughter loaded a brand new, unused amazon card onto gyft and then tried to transfer it to me. It vanished. I have contacted Gyft several times and have received two "auto replies" as follows (see below) but then nothing happens. I cannot believe that this "company" still operates. I am contacting apple about removing them from itunes as well as the better business bureau. Anyone from gyft care to reply to me here??

Took $500 out of my PayPal account but no gift card

Took $500 out of my PayPal account then I get an email saying they declined the transaction. I called “customer service” who told me I couldn’t use PayPal for that particular purchase (even though it was an option at checkout and it allowed me to complete the transaction), and that it would take 7 days for the charges to be refunded. Gal in the phone wouldn’t give her badge number or her supervisor’s name. Finally offered escalation but said they’d call back WITHIN 24 HOURS!!! I am contacting the BBB and the CO atty general first thing Monday as this appears to be a total scam. According to the others on here, I am clearly not alone.

Scam! They keep raising the price.

Scam! I'd rate them a 0 but there is no such option. I tried to buy a $50 Gift card 3 times. It quoted me one price with the value of bitcoin was deflated by alot and I transferred it to the BitPay wallet costing me about $10 then it quoted me a higher price further on so I sent more money to cover the charge and it cost me more money. Then the timer timed out with enough money in the wallet and it didn't process the transaction. So I tried to start again and the price was even higher even though the price of bitcoin had gone up and the initial quoting point where they add fees on later. What a Scam!

I purchased a 100$ google play gift card using bitpay, the payment went through the card came through. I attempted to use the card it said it was invalid.

I call their support.
I got a female on the line who would not comply with my questions.
They answer the phone and lead you around, they than send your request "To a manager" If you ask for a manager or supervisor they say they have none.

I asked how many people worked there, they said 20-30.
I asked how do they function with no supervision?
They replied sarcastically and told me to keep my eye on my e-mail for someone to contact me.

I have no doubt this place is a huge scam.
Do not ever use this service!

I would give zero Stars if possible but according to a review I have to at least leave one which in my opinion is being too generous with this scam of a company. Absolutely the worst company that I have ever attempted to buy from online. I use them because they accept Bitcoin I was trying to see how easy they have made it for their customers to be able to purchase gift cards to use in store. This morning I attempted to buy a Target gift card I did everything that the prompts asked me to do, cut & paste address to my Bitcoin wallet. They took the money out of my wallet instantly I got a email from Bitcoin confirming that the transaction was successful. But then turned around and got a message from gyft saying the invoice was not paid in full and my code had expired. When purchasing with Bitcoin a address is given and expires after 15 minutes of non-use the transaction literally took less than 1 minute to cut and paste an pay. After seeing that the invoice was actually paid in full because they took the full amount (plus a $4 fee that they don't disclose) I called customer service to ask them what was going on. The customer service was so unprofessional! First he couldn't even find my account, second, he was actually acting like my phone call was ruining his day. Third he literally did not know what to do. He had no solution other than to tell me to wait for a refund and that it was showing in his system that it was being processed. He stated twice that because today is Sunday that I could expect to see the money by Thursday and if not to call back on the following Monday. Like what the hell? Why do I need to wait to get my own money back they didn't wait to take it!! Stay away from this company!!! I will be reporting with the BBB that's for sure! Consider yourselves warned.

Scammed out of $30, horrid site.

I made a payment with my paypal of $30 for an amazon gift card on September 3rd. I waited 3 hours and nothing so i decided to contact gyft to see if a refund was possible and they told me that my Payment "didn't go through on our ends." But if i go to my transaction history it shows that i authorized a payment of $30. After a few days i was told by Gyft that a refund was possible but i had to wait "3-7 business days." Those were pure lies. I've contacted gyft over 11 times to see whats happening with my refund and they cant do anything about it. Until this very day i have not received the refund and $30 is a lot for me. The point is the experience I've had with gyft is unacceptable and considering all the money the users on here spend and how the customer service gives their least effort to satisfy someone is truly sad. That was a waste of time and money and i am least satisfied, i might not get a refund and there is nothing i will be able to do about it. Goodbye $30

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. For some reason they denied my purchase and then proceeded to hold funds for a month. They say they release them after seven days, but they do not. Their customer service responds with scripted emails and never actually helps you and after you request they stop scripting you and ask for actual help they just quit responding. Really crappy company.

I received a gift card from Target through Gyft. It has been a nightmare. First I went to a local Target store and tried to make a purchase using the gift card purchased through them, it was declined for having a $0 balance. The person at the checkout counter held my stuff while I went to the Guest Services counter, where they called customer service. They were unable to help me because the card was purchased using a third party site. So I placed the merchandise on hold contacted Gyft along with the person who purchased the gift card for me so they could file a claim and waited for Gyft to resolve the issue. They gave me Gyft points to purchase another card a few days later. I then went back to the store to complete my purchase when I was told the card only had $24 on it. Again there was nothing they could do so I had to contact Gyft, and leave the store a second time with nothing. Gfyt sent me an email saying they had issues with their Target gift card inventory and again gave me some more Gyft points minus the $24 that was left on the Target gift card, as they left it for me to use on another purchase. So upon the next attempt I decided to use Target.com and purchase and online order since I had wasted my time and gas going into the store twice. After finding a couple items I tried to checkout and you guessed it the balance on the Target gift card was now $0 and I could not complete that purchase either. To top it off I used the remainder of the Gyft points to purchase a Macy's gift card, and Macy's cancelled the transaction at checkout because they apparently had to authenticate the funds. So it has been about a month and to date I've not been able to spend a single dollar from the Gyft gift card just my own time and gas. I've contacted Gyft yet again and am awaiting a reply. This has been a shopping nightmare and I would never use their services again.

I sent a $25 gift card for Burger King . The only way to use is to order online. None of the 11 Burger Kings I've tried will accept the GYFT card. It's a SCAM. Don't use this site!

Terrible Company

My account was permanently closed or "permantently closed" according to there website. (They can't even properly spell on the user banned page...)

I was banned without reason or explanation, I provided phone verification, email verification, paypal verification, and name verification and was still banned ?!

I have emailed support and all I get is a run around B S copied and pasted excuse via email !

This gift card company is by far the worst in customer service, verification, and just overall a bad company.

Don't bother wasting your time with this site as they will only F you over or waste your time.

waited 48 hours for nothing

Made me wait nearly 48 hours for a gift card i bought then denied the order. I waited 48 hours for absolutely nothing. I was so hyped for pizza till they ruined it. I was refunded the money but still was a bad experience. They also said it would only take 24 hours to pend.

As a start up they are probably ran by the worst people possible. Customer service is horrible -- when there was a promotion, they insisted that I did NOT apply the promo code and hence cannot honor the sale. Guess they'll be losing customers from the start.
