As an avid hat fan/wearer I like to look around, but I get the majority of my hats from Hats and Caps, as I have have always found them the most competitive on price, excellent variet and have some of my favourite brands (Jacob & James) in stock. I have to say I have never had a company that deals with your order so swiftly and carefully, I always receive my purchases promptly and in excellent condition. Thoroughly recommend.

Bought a white cotton sun hat as a gift. Worried that it would not arrive in time…living in Spain…
Arrived on the day and couldn’t be happier…well packed…beautiful hat and can’t believe how fast?
If they had emailed me to tell me my order was on its way it would have been five stars…🤷‍♀️…

Within 2 days of my order, I received my Top hat. Perfect comfortable fit. Sturdy secure packaging.

I received my item within two days of order but I ordered the wrong size, I returned the item via their instruction which was tracked all the way which gave me peace of mind and within the week I had the correct size. The quality is excellent and fit perfect

I've been a customer for many years (villagehats is an alternative name/web address) and unfortunately, it seems recent economic changes have affected the company and their attitude.

On 2 occasions now I've ordered replacements for lost hats. The last occasion unfortunately appears to be the norm, now.

I checked back on my orders and bought the exact same titles cap. Up from £17 to £23. When it arrives, it is of clearly poorer quality.

With the first instance, I had the same reply about being a small company. They'll end up much smaller with no customers.

I bought the Jaxon and James Oilcloth hat from this company. It was listed in the “Rainhats” part of the website. I was very happy at first, it is a great looking hat and the fact that it was a rain hat made it perfect for my goal to have a hat for all seasons. Sadly after a few rain exposures the hat started to wrinkle at the front and the rim started feeling softer at that area than the rest. After turning to the customer service they told me the hat is not waterproof but just water repellent. This info is not provided on their website however and this hat can be found under “rain hats” as stated earlier. That gave me the (false) impression this hat was made and suitable for this purpose. The seller told me they give no guarantee on their product cause they are just a small company. Never again and be warned if you are looking for quality, good information and service.

What an excellent company to buy from. Ordered on Tuesday evening, and order arrived today Thursday as it said it would.
The hat quality is exceptional, the fit is perfect, its hard to find XL and well and truly worth it. Can't thank you all enough for getting it here on time.

VERY DISAPPOINTED AS THIS HAT IS NOT OF QUALITY AS PER BRITISH BRANDS. AS I THOUGHT WHEN I OPENED THE PACKAGE, IT IS IN FACT MADE IN CHINA [I NEED SAY NO MORE!] I AM NOW RETURNING THE ITEM AND THIS WILL MEAN I'M OUT OF POCKET FOR THE COST OF RETURN POSTAGE. I BELIEVE THE SELLER HAS A DUTY [WHEN SELLING PRODUCTS ON-LINE] TO BE OPEN ABOUT ORIGINS AND TO SHOW A PHOTO WITH A PERSON WEARING THE ITEM, SO THAT CUSTOMERS ARE FULLY INFORMED BEFORE PURCHASING.

ALSO, THE HAT HAS AN ATTACHED TICKET ADVISING MATERIAL IS MADE IN SCOTLAND; ALSO SHOWING A UNION JACKET/FLAG ON IT. I STRESS THIS HAT IS NOT THE QUALITY OF A BRITISH PRODUCT.

PERSONALLY I WOULDN'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

Very pleased with my purchases that arrived today. Had a question regarding delivery and received a very prompt response from Customer Services.

Purchased a Decker Trilby.Must be into double figures with the hats ive bought from Village Hats.As always communication was first class and the hat arrived boxed and in excellent new condition.

Great quality hat turned up on time bought as part of Christmas present for one of my sons he is very pleased with it .

I give Village Hats 10 stars! I got the beautiful hat within 2 days - even during the postal strike - and it's far, far better than I'd imagined. Huge Mad Hatter's hat, top quality, velvet, beautifully crafted and stitched, and fits any head size because it's stretchy inside. I'm going to be wearing it all over Xmas & New Year, not only for the celebration in March that I'd bought it for. (I foresee friends asking to borrow it, too...) I've saved VH's details to pass on to friends, and for when I need another hat. Thank you, VH! x

I purchased two berets from Village hats and they were really nice. I loved both the leopard skin design and the black with shiny small beads. Their customer service is excellent and I will definitely be using them again.

My delivery was late due to Royal Mail strike but my query was answered so quickly and when my faux fur pill box hat arrived in a large box I was not disappointed so beautiful, so chic and so warm. I will be buying another shortly in black. Would definitely recommend 100%.
