If they don't know the answer at once to a query, they will do their best to find the answer and they will advise you of the outcome. The staff are polite and nothing is too much trouble. They are good at explaining issues and communicating with the customer

Hays Southsea are amazing
Hays Southsea are amazing. I have booked my family holiday through them for many years now. They are helpful and so supportive. They always find me the best deal and option for me. Being a single mum with what are now 3 older teenagers/adult but what once were smaller ones going on holiday can be a bit daunting but they have taken away all stress of booking, flights, insurance etc. would highly recommend! Also love to have a quick look at their window offers - some of those are great! Well worth checking out. Huge thanks to them for their recent work on my booking - they have gone over and above and I have been blown away. Will keep coming back!!

Hays Travel in Southsea…
Hays Travel in Southsea were so helpful with booking our holiday. I spoke and emailed with quite a few staff and they were all friendly and professional, particularly Victoria and Cerys. We have booked with them several times and will continue to do so.

Trainee not ready to see customers alone
I wanted to pay the deposit on a holiday I was interested in. My virus protection would not allow me to use the link to pay online and it was not possible to pay by card on the phone. This was inconvenient. I decided to go into the agency to pay in person. The member of staff who had helped me to choose my holiday was not there and I was dealt with by a young trainee.
I was made aware of this and did not mind as I assumed the transaction would be easy. But the trainee took an unacceptably long time to deal with my request and eventually had to ask a colleague. Even then it was so much more difficult than it would have been if I'd been able to see my original contact.
I understand that trainees have to learn but this young man did not seem ready to see customers alone. Even after we reached the point of payment it took forever and he didn't give me the option of receiving the documents by email which I would have preferred but did not ask for in case it caused even more problems. Overall it took more than half an hour simply to pay a deposit.
I have no problem with the experienced members of staff and I would only recommend that the young man has more training.

The young chap who dealt with us was keen to help and very polite but needs more experience/training .
For a while it seemed we were going around in circles.We appreciate that everyone has to start somewhere,we all have.
Having not been anywhere for 11 years we found our experience in Hays a bit frustrating.
