Extra day and hours added to receipt
Extra day and hours added to receipt. Car was returned on 10/15/2026 around 10 AM, but receipt mentioned that it was returned on 10/16/2026 in the evening. I had to contact customer service at 1800 654 4174 and take 1 hour out of my day to get the correct receipt.

Great customer service at this location and very accommodating. Was in and out very fast and when returning the car, the return process was so quick, I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. The location to where I am at is so convenient as well.

Rental from Local Hertz Rental Office
In general, everything about my recent rental went well. The rental car I received was excellent. However, there was a delay in getting a rental car at the local Hertz rental office in Oak Park, Il. They ran out of cars and had to retrieve additional cars from one of the airports. Not a bad delay, but a delay nonetheless. I should point out that I believe I received a higher class car than I signed up for (probably because of the car shortage). The return at O'hare Airport was very easy.

Late Return Fee Charge Error - Check your invoice!
The car rental pick up and drop off went smoothly. However, I was charged a $12.00 Late Return Fee in error. I returned the care well before the return time of 12pm. I've called Hertz. I've called the local Hertz agency where I rented. No one answers the phone. I sent email through Customer Service on website. Have had no response in over 2 weeks.
