There was no way of talking to a live person, so I drove to the office. When I got there early, I was told that my vehicle wad not there yet and told they could not guarantee that it would get there " because people have not been returning there vehicles..."

I asked if she could call other locations to see if they had what I requested. She said " even if they did, we only have 2 people working and could not go get the vehicle and they could not bring it to this location. "

I was offered Chevy Trailblazer (because it was the one and only vehicle on the lot) told: that it was a Hibrid vehicle. I operated the vehicle on that belief and ran out of gas, on the side of a busy freeway during rush hour traffic and had to call AAA for assistance.

Then told to return the vehicle at 4pm and I got there at 345 and initially charged for an extra hour because he said I was late.

This was a horrible experience and I will Not be renting from here ever again and will tell my friends not to do so either.

Making the reservation was very easy. Great customer service and very polite. Vehicle selection was exactly what I had expected.pick up and return was less than 5 minutes.

The staff is amazing

During a family crisis, I needed to extend my rental. I was unable to do it online and called Hertz customer service, which was not willing to assist. They basically read the contract back to me. The in-person experience was completely different. Branch Manager Angelica Jenkins went the extra mile for us. Thinking outside the box, she had the vehicle added to her inventory and re-rented it to me. It saved me time, money, and a whole bunch of stress during a difficult time. I am forever grateful for this excellent service.

The staff at Hertz location in Stockton at Auto Mall area, are fantastic. They greet you with and smile and they always make you feel welcomed and part of Hertz family, not just another customer walking through the door..

Picking up and dropping rental was quick and easy

1st customer service was absolutely on point. The vehicle I had was nice, clean, and ran great.
