All was good except in order to extend my reservation I had to drive to the Hertz at the airport, and turn in the car and sign out a different vehicle.
This happened twice.
Why couldn’t extend it be done via phone or app ???

I had a really good experience with Hertz from start to finish. They had a great selection of newer vehicles, the prices were very reasonable, and everything was transparent with no hidden fees or unexpected charges.

My reservation went perfectly, the vehicle was ready as expected, and I didn’t run into any issues during pickup. Returning the car was just as easy and hassle-free.

It’s refreshing to have a rental experience that is straightforward, affordable, and exactly what you were expecting. I would definitely rent from Hertz again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good selection of vehicles and a smooth rental process.

No problem at all. Easy to pick up.

The system for car pick-up and return is fully uncomplicated. In addition, the staff were very accommodating to let me leave the car in the pick-up deck for an hour after check out while I waited for my sister's flight.

Terrible, got a flat tire and was charged for remaining rental days without the car available to drive and charges for towing because car didn’t have spare tire!

Quick, easy, kind attendants and managers.

Process was smooth, went quickly and we had no issues with the vehicle making for a nice little getaway with friends.

Great car at a great price and fast service

The service personnel were quick and courteous. I walk to the counter and was in the care and driving in less than 5 minutes.

Staff at the Tucson Airport location were pleasant and helpful. Little to no hassle experience. Worked well with USAA membership discount. Accommodated a vehicle swap 3 weeks in with no issue when our first vehicle indicated it might need new brake pads. Only downside was that it was nearly impossible (if not impossible) to call this branch, as every call was routed to corporate. Worked out for us regardless in the end.

This Hertz rental at TUC went pretty well. I did head right out to the cars as this is where the Gold Card members usually find a list with their names on it. Instead, I needed to go back to the rental counter. For some reason, my reservation was there but my folio had not been printed and was not ready as it usually is. This was taken care of quickly and I was given my folio and keys and I was headed back to the cars. The car was nearly new and worked great and the return process was fast and easy. All in all a nice experienc.

It was incredibly easy and quick to pickup and return the vehicle.

I’ve been a Hertz customer for over 20 years, and have watched customer service and ease of use decline steadily. As a business traveler who relied on the ease of the Gold Service to quickly get off a flight, into a car, and off to meetings, I’ve seen that morph into a complex, expensive, time drag. Hidden fees, random stops at understaffed counters, cars that are half full of gas. How does this help customers? Why use the service if efficiency, predictability, and consistency are priorities?

Better to use Turo and Uber.

Sad to see a company erode its value prop in what seems to be a vain attempt to juice profitability.

Fast process, clean car, very friendly people

I think it's absolutely terrible that you don't take cash. I had cash to pay and was refused. I had to give the money to my mother-in-law and have her use her credit card.

You are doing a great job, keep it up

Booking online was easy. But, the problems occurred on the ground at the airport when I went to pick up the car. The lights in the car indicated it needed an oil change. The representatives at the counter told me the car would be fine and not to worry. That was not acceptable. After speaking with a manager, they automatically without asking me what car I would like to exchange it for, booked me a different car and said they were not about to do anything else. The exchange was terrible and made me reconsider my presidential circle loyalty.

They never have the car I reserve and always give me something smaller. The Jeep they gave me broke down.
