This is my first ever online review of a company, but the service provided by HiFiCorner has been SO GOOD that I just had to get this one down.

I'll not go into the details, but I'd ordered an item that had literally just been discontinued by the manufacturer.

Obviously disappointing because this thing was the one. But the HiFiCorner team got straight back to me with multiple options, including getting my cash back and trying their best to get the next model up at no extra cost.

After a few days, they succeeded in doing just that. No quibbles, no complaints, just straight-up brilliant customer service.

Top class service from John regarding a delayed order.

I've been taking to Tony Franchi at the Edinburgh branch, on the phone he's a good person and very knowledgeable in the Hifi world. Tony always makes time for me when speaking to him on the phone. I would like to say thanks to all who works at Hi-Fi Corner but big shout to Tony as he's helped me a lot.

Bought some Harbeth speakers from Hifi Corner after calling the shop to enquire about something suitable for an office space. I was advised on alternatives to my initial shortlist and up popped the Harbeths in conversation. I would not normally buy speakers without a listen but these speakers are really not fussy in amp partnering. After a friendly chat I ordered online and they were dispatched same day and in my mitts the very next working day. I’ve been playing a mix of jazz, ambient, rock etc. and I am astounded by the detail, and soundstage they present. They are keepers for life! This is the second time I have purchased from Hifi Corner and their service is excellent. I really should go and visit their shop some time. The guys I have spoken to are always really friendly and they seem to go that bit extra mile to make our Hifi dreams come true.

I bought a Chord Hugo 2 from the Falkirk store. They price matched Richer Sounds who were offering a free leather case. It wasn’t in stock but they ordered it and contacted me when it was available. Thanks very much John and team.

Phoned and spoke to Tony Franchi. Ordered an Ortofon ST-80 SE step up transformer which had to come from the importer. Two days later the item arrived. Upon installation there was a bad humming noise..i tried the solutions i knew of to no avail. I picked up the phone and discussed the situation with Tony. He gave me several solutions,and they worked perfectly. From start to finish the level of service from Tony was outstanding. As for the ST-80....I wish I'd used SUT's decades ago! Incredible upgrade in sound quality. Highly recommended dealer which i would definitely use again. Cheers,Pete

Poor customer service, sent an email to arrange a viewing of two turntables in their Falkirk store. Had no response by email or phone. It is a shame as customer service used to be outstanding, seems they have moved with the times and don't care about customers anymore like so many others.

I recently purchased a this subwoofer from HiFi Corner (Falkirk), and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with both the product and the service I received. The staff (Armin and Pel) were (as always) knowledgeable and guided me through the selection process to find the perfect subwoofer for my needs.

The sound quality of this SVS SB 16 Ultra is exceptional, delivering crisp and clear audio across a range of music genres as well as well as earthquake bass when required. The build quality is also top-notch, and is both sturdy and well-crafted (it weighs about 50Kg)

Overall, I highly recommend HiFi Corner for anyone in the market for a high-quality HiFi system. Both Armin and Pel’s expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction make them a standout choice.

Shopping experience here can be disappointing

I had a great experience buying a new pre amp from Hi Fi Corner - I would not go anywhere else now. Great service and after sales backup.

Wonderful customer service.. i bought a heavily reduced ex-demo amp from their Edinburgh store via the website, alas the website hadn't updated their stock levels and the amp had previously sold.

Staff at the store didn't even ask if i wanted a refund, they just apologised for the inconvenience and shipped out a brand new amp as replacement.

Brilliant!

Shocking treatment my son received when ordering a product recently from the Falkirk store. They tried to overcharge him £125 from the original price to say the cable was extra (included in the box) when they had already quoted a price with a deposit paid. When my wife went to sort it it out they tried to charge another £125.....thus then having to do £250 credit. Then to make a sexist comment about how a female had to sort this out. Not a great advert, needless to say son did buy frequently from the shop, but he will not return taking advantage of his good nature. Be warned do not buy from this store.

I have ordered several components from Hi-Fi Corner in Edinburgh. Helpful service, free next day delivery and always well packaged for protection in transit. Couldn’t ask for more.

Brilliant advice and service, I couldn't be happier with the modern system I now have. Iain gave great advice and though one of the components I ordered is on a 12 week waiting list in some stores: he got one in about 5 days. It was great to be able to audition gear prior to purchase too. My wife and I are now rediscovering music and how it should sound.

Last Thursday I called Hificorner and I spoke with Ian for buying a CD player . Ian created for me a few solutions not only related for my budget, but also for the future opportunity of up grading the system in a digital and streaming world. Ian opened the new frontier for me for what my knowledge was based only the old fashion analogue system .
This is what the serious hifi customer is looking for an independent shop where you can rely with suggestion and experience from in this case Ian and John and be sure to find the solution.
The passion and love cannot be in buying by ordering on line as shopping list , but more with a combination of support and motivation to get the best for the customer and for these you can get in this kind of retailers, independent retailers .

Ordered items that were not in stock, seems was an issue across the UK. Staff were polite when I called eventhough somewhat harassed, needed to email the tele sales people. They did try and source the item to no avail. Refund issued promptly, along with explanatory polite email. Would definitely use again.

Recently purchased a Denon AVR through Hi Fi Corner. The guys were genuinely very knowledgble and helpful. Would certainly recommend to others.

Superb customer service. Unfortunatly the product I wanted was experiences delays but the team informed me straight away and even offered a discount for the delay. They then kept me informed until eventually I no longer wanted to proceed with the purchase which is unfortunate but they refunded in full.

HIFI had their hands tied by the supplier so no issues there with the delay, it's an example of top quality customer service.
