A strange experience this time, an innocent comment about a carrier bag turns into some kind of perceived slight by the man serving me. The CD is put down on the counter as if a carrier bag isn't being offered, I mentioned that I'd like a bag and that I was likely to leave it down, I was made to repeat myself twice as if this individual was having difficulty,or was hell bent on embarrassing me. If you don’t have the skills to deal with members of the public, or perhaps people you have an axe to grind with, find another place to work. And if you are so thin skinned and puerile you can't interact with a customer without breaking out in hives, I suggest that you take a long look in the mirror and ask yourself are you really cut out to work in retail? What made this experience worse is the plastic gate inside the CD is broken and now I have to return it, just great! If these two people, one of whom was a woman,worked for me, I'd sack them, they treat their workplace as if it were their own little world where they include or exclude who they feel like!

My experience with the staff that worked at HMV were very Harold thought squat please with the outcome of the items that I have selected and they arrived on time thank you to all the stuff that were there and available

The assistant looked up some dvds l was interested in and she found one of them for me straight away she ordered the item and l was kept in touch regarding the process throughout.

Very friendly staff are the key to me giving that rating as they are not pushy but have extensive knowledge of all music/ film genres.

The store assistant checked if the dvd I wanted was in stock and then ordered it for me. He was very efficient and helpful and explained how I would be notified when the item had been delivered to the store for me to collect.

Purchased some things from the website for collection from my local store, order was despatched very quickly arrived as store within 2 days and collection was easy! (Quick shout out to the staff in the wolverhampton store super friendly!!) Would definitely order again!

Good all around service

Staff are always pleasant and helpful when I’m in the store. Whether it’s something they sell instore or if they have to order it for me,they can’t be more helpful. The Wolverhampton store has a great team in there and they are a credit to your company.

Staff was really helpful with finding the DVD I wanted, and price was very good was also fast having it delivered to the store for me just pick up. Thank you to the staff who helped me really appreciate.
