well what can i say when i ordered was told would be here or at the store then told it was with your carrier then nothing i rang twice told didnt know where my del was then i rang again told it was in fact at your store then when my wife went to collect you could not find it not supprising because no name on the package took 15 mins to find it so in all not impressed

I wanted to pick up a bar b q late on Friday and staff member Nick couldn’t have been more helpful in discussing the varied bar b q’s in stock over the phone and subsequently putting it in my car. On Sunday we had to return as the hinges to attach the lid to the base of the bar b q were missing and again Nick was on duty and found where his colleague had kindly put replacements to one side for me when I called about the missing parts yesterday.
Just an all round great experience with both staff members who couldn’t have been more caring and polite. Well done Homebase Biggleswade and thank you from an Ely resident😊

Firstly, the area I was shopping in, storage boxes, did look a bit like a Jumble sale, but I managed to find what I wanted at 20% off.
There was just one cashier open and the person in front was returning items, without a receipt. They decided they would have to search their phone for a bank statement. There was any almost audible sigh of relief from the queue, when the cashier, Caroline, asked them if they would mind moving to one side to do it so they could serve others

Helpful staff

I collected 10 bags of manure in my car, but you’d had them stored in the rain, so the liquid out of them all ran into my boot! The average customer, when doing click and collect is going to be collecting stuff in their car, so it would be helpful (particularly with manure!) if you stored it somewhere dry

We waited for about 15mins for a member of staff to try and find our order before she called for help where the other member of staff found it immediately

Very friendly staff, order was ready and on a trolley. Offered to take to it to my car for me

Great prompt service from two ladies in the DIY department who helped me with some power tools and paint mixing, despite the fact I was interrupting them in re-stocking or whatever.

Had a problem with a damaged click and collect order. The manager contacted and resolved the issue. Thank you!

Item was not available carpet runner was not in stock . returned your phone call no reply .wasted journey .hope we get a prompt refund .

Staff were extremely good and they went above and beyond even helping me load 5 heavy bags of compost into my car 10/10*

The price was reasonable, I liked that I could pay online through PayPal and collect the items from my local store up until 8pm.

Totally ignored by 2 members of staff that were on the returns / click & collect desk. Another member of staff left her till in order to complete my collection.

Time of visit 19:00hrs. Easy to find products.

Customer service needs improvement, queue 9 people deep, only one operative doing refunds and sales. When asked if he could get anyone else to help, his response was that he is "the only one till trained". (One does wonder if said one till trained member of staff had to leave in an emergency or was taken ill, would they close the store? Im quite sure the regional managers would not look kindly on this!!
"Nick" was standing at the other end of the tills giving advice of a refund involving multiple receipts over their "Britney mics", he saw the queue and walked away!
Improvement needed.

Amazing deal was had and very quick click and collect with an extremely polite young man serving at customer service, what a credit to you he is in spite of working in incredibly hot conditions due to the air conditioning not working (not that he told me that, I could tell it was way too hot for working conditions) anyway great service but get the air con fixed! 5 stars if air con worked!
