We were considering ordering kitchen units from Homebase (the quality seemed good) and we were then introduced to Ellis Evans (designer) who was excellent (he had been a fitter and so understands how everything works). He was patient as we worked through various design options, guided us on what would work and the computer visuals were really helpful. He then introduced us to a fitter who was also brilliant. We are very happy with the end result.

I should also say that the delivery of the units was also flawless - a really helpful crew who communicated with us beforehand, arrived when they said they would and were happy to stack the units where we asked. (Unlike a well-regarded national department store who, the previous day, would only take things to our front door and didn't have a complete delivery).

I purchased a new kitchen from homebase Branksome and Ellis the kitchen designer was so helpful and had good knowledge of the products available. He took time to show me different options and explain things. Whenever I contacted him with a query by email the response was very quick and efficient.

My elderly mother and I went to Homebase Branksome (near Poole) to buy a cordless lawnmower. A great guy called Tim to sent to assist us. He was knowledgeable and friendly. He answered our 15 plus questions about pros and cons and gave practical demonstrations. He was very patient and when it became clear that neither mum nor I had the grip strength assemble the grass collection unit, Tim put everything together, including the handle and carried it out to my car fully assembled. Brilliant customer service from a calm and helpful member of what seemed like a good working team.

Once again a visit to this store reveals a lack of adequate watering of plants to the point where many £’s worth are beyond saving. Why does no-one either on the shop floor or within management care? Waste of money and plants.
Not the only Homebase where this happens.

Friendly, helpful staff.

The service was very good, the ordering and configuration of our wardrobes was also simple and straightforward. We were treated very as we had to order an extra part which was an oversight on Homebase but they sorted this out very easily. They also suggested a carpenter who was fantastic and also worked hard to make our purchase perfect. Would recommend.
