The guy who handed over my order was really helpful - I found the guy on the till annoying

When I went to the till to pay, I was told to pay money towards MacMillen cancer, when I said I wouldn't contribute as MacMillen were no use when one of my children developed cancer I was told that I was 'an angry man'. I take this as an exreme insult from a 'veryrude' member of your staff.

An easy and quick experience

Great service from Homebase. I had a call to confirm that they had my item in stock and it was ready to collect when I got there.

It was insinuated by a member of the checkout team, Josh according to the receipt, that I was trying to conceal an extra roll of lawn turf when I was trying to pay.

When arriving at the till, with my two rolls of turf, the team member asked how many I had, I responded with just the two rolls, he then replied with ‘No, you’ve got three’ taken a back with the unfriendly and unexpected response, I replied by saying “Oh no sorry, it’s only two, I can lift it up if you would like” to which I received no response, other than the colleague walking around to the front of the till to physically check my trolley (I had no other items other than the two rolls of turf).

He then, again, insinuated that it looks like three rolls and that apparently, I was somewhat untrustworthy in my truthful response to his original question.

Unhelpful, no pleasantries, no customer first mentality, will no be returning.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Found exactly what I was looking for. A very kind gentleman (staff-sorry didn't catch his name) gladly helped me to load my vehicle. Thank you so much.

Always efficient & the Asian gentleman who served me on the Click & Collect counter (sorry didn’t get his name) is an asset to the store. Always welcoming, smiley with excellent customer service skills. Even took the time to clean the boxes before handing them over. He needs a big thank you & recommendation for going the extra mile.

Ordered a base for parasol and table 4 chair set.
Paid for delivery then got a e mail to collect.
So collected and paid at Bromsgrove store having been told by staff there that order is cancelled on money will be returned.
Then I get a fefund on my card minus the base and delivery.
So I now have 2 bases a charge for the base and delivery so another 10 miles visit to the store to sort it out.

Not great flooring was ordered no problem but when it came to delivery that was a nightmare dates kept changing

Homebase Bromsgrove - manager, Dunil and Hayden went out of their way to find matching batch numbers for F&B paint order. They were exceedingly patient, polite and willing to help. Big thank you.

Customer service was nil rude unresponsive cashier in store. Terrible attitude no please thank you. Non verbal person. One word said and that was name!
