Shout out to Sandra, service desk & store Manager Adrian. Couldn’t have given a better service to me and my family. Sandra helped get all my stock in on order which was extremely limited & Adrian picking up a piece of furniture from another store which Sandra arranged. Fab service from both sides. Such lovely people and I wish to send them a massive thankyou 😊

The member of staff helped me with some advice on a Karcher product I needed. Impressed with the great advice and a great product. Will definitely be back to Homebase.

The shelves utilise shared dowel rods which are plastic and simply too short, it leaves about 8-10mm for the adjoining shelf. Simply not enough to support the shelves. It has no structural rigidity and needs additional support as it moves side to side far too much. My wife is disabled and she is scared it will collapse, which I can understand and think the same. We have numerous other brands of box shelves and they are very very sturdy. We thought we would give homebase a try but wish we hadn't bothered.

Excellent service, order ready within the hour and I got assistantance with loading the trolley.

I recently visited Homebase in need of a certain type of paint. I approached a member of staff called Greg who was very helpful and took his time to give me plenty of advice on which paint would be the best choice and how to get the best result. Greg was very polite and had excellent customer service. I definitely will be shopping here again!! 5 stars!!

Text to say order was ready. Order was not at counter and the poor staff member had to leave to go and get my items, when there was a queue behind me.

Even though I gave the order number, I was asked for ID. I did not have any on me. If ID is required at time of collection, it would be really helpful if this could be added to the text notification !!!

I have recently been twice to Homebase Colchester and on both occasions Sandra was extremely helpful and went out of her way to help me.

I was greeted at the service desk with a smile and a welcome the lovely lady Jan chatted as she was scanning my item, I told her the bracket I’ve bought may not be big enough but won’t know until I get home.
I was told I could bring it back if it’s not correct and they will change it. Then genuine goodbye.
