Homebase - Winchester Avaliações 

Our order was waiting for us in a trolley which was good. However the barbecue was very heavy and we would have appreciated some help in getting the box into our car as we are old age pensioners, but no offer was forthcoming.

I was delighted with the service and value for money. Austin the sales person was very knowledgeable and helpful. The product range is good and the price competitive.

I was served by Alan who was poliet and friendly he helped me get next day delivery on my new lawnmower and another string on my strimmer. He helped explain the guarantee which was helpful. It was a great transaction and enjoyed my experience today! I will definitely be returning again soon.

My second bad Homebase review in two weeks...not good.
I just travelled over 20 miles to the Winchester Homebase as according to its website you are offering wood/board cutting services. My reason for the visit.
The in store board cutting area is out of commission and by the look of it, has been for some time. I asked at the customer service desk if the board cutting will open again to be told 'no', its closed for good. The blade is damaged and we can't get a replacement. I don't believe that for a moment. This is another extremely useful service Homebase once provided but they can no longer be bothered just as the Basingstoke branch closed their board cutting service years ago. Why?
The range of timber and board on display today is far diminished compared to what has been stocked in the past. This is another supposed DIY store that is turning into just a front for bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen displays.
HOMEBASE...if you no longer offer board cutting services, take it off your bloody website and stop wasting people's time.

My wife suffers from dementia and when we asked where the customer toilets were we were told we couldn’t use them as they are never cleaned. What a disgrace for a company your size.

The item I collected had clearly been sitting on the ground somewhere outdoors, the plastic box was covered in dirt and green mould. I can’t understand why anyone thought it would be reasonable to give that to a customer and didn’t bother to wipe it clean.

From online ordering to collecting my order in store, the whole Homebase shopping experience was just so easy! Staff in store were friendly and helpful as always, even taking my shopping to my car and loading it into the boot for me. I’d not hesitate to recommend Homebase to anyone else.

Absolutely shocking customer services. Had to make an unnecessary journey and several phone call which go unanswered

We reserved an item online via click and collect but when we collected the item the box was damaged and the wrong item was given to us. We reserved a lamp with a clear shade and the lamp provided had a pearl shade. As the box was damaged we checked the item in the car park and managed to get the item exchanged f the product we had reserved.
